Sonya Ayodhya who is known for her performance in shows like Nazar and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has been roped in to essay the role of Riya in the show Sirf Tum.
The role of Riya is quite a breeze of fresh air for Sonya as she will be essaying a positive role for the first time. In a recent interview with ETimes TV, the actress talked about it and shared, “I play the role of Riya in Sirf Tum. People are absolutely loving it. They are loving the show. Unlike my other characters in the past, Riya is a very positive character. She is not dark at all. This is something very different and new to me. I haven’t done something so positive on television.”
She adds, “I have played out and out negative roles, We all are grey in real life. We have good and bad qualities. We all try to combat bad qualities and we are all just humans.”
Talking about her bond with co-stars Eisha Singh and Puneett Chouksey, Sonya adds, “We have this infectious energy and I don’t how we bonded so well. Eisha and I connected since Day 1. We are best friends forever and the same with Puneett. We were shooting in Dehradun and thought of exploring the city. And we were just three. Because of that, we bonded more,” she concludes.
