Rakshit hears someone calling his name. He feels like he knows this voice but couldn’t remember. It sounds so familiar yet unknown. He tries to run towards the voice but always ends up going in the wrong direction. It’s like the voice is coming from all directions and it’s slowly fading. As if it’s not been hold now it will get lost forever. Rakshit tries his best to run towards it. He keeps running faster and faster and the voice keep growing distant and distant. It almost vanished when Rakshit give in his all and he jerked up in his bed, all awake. He looks around his room, half not understanding anything for waking up from sleep and half in search of the voice. He felt like it was just here, inside his room. It might just come again. His sight goes towards the table beside his bed, there is a cup of tea, the smoke is going up from the surface. And the unknown yet familiar voice from the dream calls out to him again from the balcony, only this time it’s not unknown anymore.
Drishti: Abhi bhi ap uthe ya nehi? Jab apne bola tha roj subah uthana hai apko tab ye bhi bol dete ki apke need itna gehra hote hai. Kabse koushis kar rahi hoon, apka to uthne ka koi naam e nehi hai.
Have you woken up yet or not? When you asked me to wake you up every morning you should have added that your sleep is this deep. I have been trying for so long, you are not waking up at all.
Rakshit sighs and smiles. He tries to shake of the remaining haziness and steps out of his bed. He takes the cup of the tea and goes towards the balcony. He sees Drishti is in a meditation pose, eyes closed. He takes a sip of tea and sits in the swing. He looks outside at the scenery, and then again at Drishti. She is still meditating.
Rakshit: Mujhe to laga tum subah sabse pehle Pari ko check karti ho.
I thought you check Pari first thing in the morning.
Drishti doesn’t open her eyes but her expression changes to irritation.
Drishti: Aur suru hogaya tana mara. Main check karkei ayi hoon aur abhi bhi mera nazar Pari par hai.
And there starts the taunting. I have come after checking and my eyes is still over Pari.
Rakshit: Well I’m not even gonna ask how.
Drishti keeps meditating and Rakshit finishes his tea. He keeps staring at Drishti the whole time.
Drishti: (to herself) Aur abhi chal raha hai inka favorite pass time. (to Rakshit) Agar apko kuch bolna hai to boliye. But mera focus mein disturb maat kijiye.
(to herself) And now his favorite pass time is going on. (to Rakshit) If you want to say something then just say it. But don’t disturb my focus.
Rakshit: Main just thora curious hoon. Tum kar kya rahi ho?
I’m just a bit curious. What are you doing?
Drishti: Meditation.
Rakshit: Achanok kiyun?
Why so suddenly?
Drishti: Achanok nehi, roz karti hoon.
Not suddenly, I do this always.
Rakshit: Really?
Drishti sighs and opens her eyes. She turns and looks at Rakshit.
Drishti: Ye mera power control karne k liye. Mera power Romi ka bracelet ka jaisa nehi hai. Mera power ka main point hai focus. Mujhe koi bhi kaam karne k liye bahut focus karna parta hai. So meditation help me focus.
This is to control my power. My powers are not like the one of Romi’s bracelet. The main point of my power is focus. To do any work I have to focus a lot. So mediation help me focus.
Rakshit: Okay, speaking of power kal…
Okay, speaking of power yesterday…
Drishti turns away from him.
Drishti: Rakshit sir, please. Kal raat k barein mein baat na karein to hi accha hoga. Mujhe khud bhi nehi pata kaal kya hua tha.
Rakshit sir, please. It would be better if we don’t talk about last night. Even I don’t know what happened last night.
Rakshit: Relax, main kaal raat k barein mein baat nehi kar raha hoon. Main to bas kal mera phone k sath jo drama hua uske barein mein puch raha tha.
Relax, I’m not talking about last night. I’m just asking about the drama happened with my phone yesterday.
Drishti: Oh!
Drishti’s mood changes immediately from gloomy to her typical self.
Don’t remind me, I’ve told so many illogical lies to Romi that I am loss at words. If he comes again asking questions I won’t be able to lie to him again. Please remember to keep your phone with you from today.
Rakshit: Wo sab to thik hai par don’t you think agar tum hara auaj phone se pass hota to itna problem nehi hota.
All that is fine but don’t you think if you could pass your voice through phone then so much problems wouldn’t happen.
Drishti: Apka kya hai, ap to bolkei chale gaye. Karna to mujhe parta hai.
What’s your problem, you just said and left. It’s me who have to do it.
Rakshit: Problem kya hai. Tum mirror mein apna refection ya fer camera mein khud ko to dikha sakte ho.
What is the problem. You can show your reflection in the mirror and in the camera.
Drishti: Kaise samjhau apko. Dekhiye, baat focus ka hai, par pehle mujhe pata hona chaihie ki mujhe kis cheez pe focus karna hai. Camera, mirror iss sab mein main mamla hai roshni ka jo mujhe samajh mein ata hai. Isilie main asani se ye kar sakta hoon.
How will I make you understand. Listen, it’s about focus, but first I have to know in what I need to focus. Camera, mirror in these things the main case is light which I understand. That’s why I can do this easily.
Rakshit: Let me guess. Aur phone kaise kaam karta hai, ye tumhe samajh mein nehi ata?
Let me guess. And you don’t understand how phone works?
Drishti: Well main study kar rahi hoon. Bas main science ka student nehi hoon to sab sar k upar se ja rahe hai.
Well I am studying. Just that I am not a science student so everything is going over my head.
Rakshit: Need help?
Drishti: Ap science k student hain?
Are you a science student?
Rakshit: Nehi, par itna to samjhai sakta hoon.
No, but I can make you understand this much at least.
Drishti stands up.
Drishti: Rehne dijiye. Main apna pace se khud hi samajh lunga.
Let it be. I will understand it by my own pace.
Rakshit stands up too.
Rakshit: As you wish. Bas agli bar jab fer se kisi k samne phone pe baat nehi kar payoge to tum khud sambhalna. Mere pass complain karne maat ana.
As you wish. Just from next time when you can’t talk in phone in front of someone then handle the situation on your own. Don’t come to me complaining.
Drishti: Nehi aungi. Ap apna phone maat bhulna.
I won’t come. You don’t forget your phone.
Rakshit: Nehi bhulunga.
I won’t forget.
Rakshit turns to leave but Drishti stops him.
Drishti: Ajka kya plan hai apka?
What is your plan today?
Rakshit: Top secret.
Rakshit goes inside the room.
Drishti: Kya?!
What?!
She follows him inside but before she could catch him, he is already inside the bathroom. She stands before the door and keeps talking to him.
Drishti: Maine to aise hi casually pucha tha. Top secret ka matlab kya hai? Aj kya ap apna mahan plan ka ek aur part ko anjam dene wale hain? Wo plan jiske barein mein ap mujhe bataiyenge bolke abhi tak kuch bhi nehi bola? Kuch to boliye? Hint dijiye at least. Ya fer apne aise hi mera tang khichne k liye bol dia ki top secret.
I just asked casually. What do you mean by top secret? Are you going to do another part of your great plan? The plan about which you said you would tell me but never said? Say something? At least give some hint. Or are you just pulling my leg by saying top secret.
Rakshit comes out of the bathroom, completely ignores her and starts getting ready in front of the mirror. Drishti stands beside him and waves her hand in front of him to get his attention.
Drishti: Hello? Main kuch puch rahi hoon. Ap mujhe ignore kar rahe hain? Hello main kya dikhai de rahi hoon ya nehi.
Hello? I am asking you something. Are you ignoring me? Hello can you even see me.
Rakshit looks at Drishti and sighs. He turns to leave but Drishti calls him from behind.
Drishti: Abhi ignore kar rahe hai ap. Par jab dikhai dena bandh karke pura gayeb ho jaunga tab apko mera value samajh mein ayega.
You are ignoring me now. But when I will stop being seen and disappear fully you will understand my value then.
Rakshit stops in his place, couldn’t move. Drishti realizes she shouldn’t have said that. She tries to think of something to say to break the silence but couldn’t think of anything. Rakshit turns and looks at her. He keeps staring at her dead in the eye for sometime. Finally he finds his voice to talk.
Rakshit: Matlab?
What do you mean?
Drishti looks away from him.
Drishti: Ap shayed bhul rahe hai, apka khud ka theory tha ki agar mera katil pakra jaye to mujhe justice mil jayega aur main….
You might be forgetting, but it was your own theory that if my murderer gets caught then I will receive justice and I will…..
Rakshit slowly goes to his bed and sits down, deep in thoughts, eyes fill with pain from the sudden realization. Drishti looks at him painfully. He looks up to her.
Rakshit: Tum bhi yahi chate ho?
And you want it too?
Drishti: Main bas ap aur Pari ko safe dekhna chati hoon.
I just want to see you and Pari safe.
Rakshit looks in front again, Drishti couldn’t guess what he could be thinking. She tries to say something a few times but ultimately doesn’t say anything. Finally Rakshit sighs and starts speaking looking at the wall.
Rakshit: Ha main mera plan k hisab se aj agla step lene wala hoon. Wo jo bhi hai uske liye ek jaal bicha raha hoon.
Yes I am going to take the next step of my plan today. Whoever this guy is I am spreading a net for him.
Drishti: Thora details mein bataiyenge?
Will you please explain in details?
Rakshit looks at Drishti, she makes puppy eyes, he ends up smiling seeing her. Looking at him smiling she smiles too. When their smiling eyes meets slowly it turns sad again. Rakshit turns away again and takes a deep breath. He starts explaining.
Rakshit: Wo katil humare ye shadi wale kahani par ekin nehi karega.
That murderer won’t believe in this story of our marriage.
Drishti: Baki sare ghar wale kaise ekin kar liya mujhe wo samajh mein nehi araha hai.
How come the other family members believed that I am not able to understand.
Rakshit stares at her comment. She makes a “Oops” face and puts finger on her lips and signals him to keep talking. He sighs and starts again.
Rakshit: Jaise tumne abhi mention kiya ki ghar wale humare baat maan liya hai kiyun ki sab hum par bharosa karte hai. Sref use chorkar. Kiyunki use sach pata hai ki humare pyar karne wala baat bhi jhoot hai. Isilie wo kabhi ekin nehi karega.
Just as you mentioned that the family members have believed us cause they trust us. Except for him. Cause he knows the truth that it’s a lie that we are in love. That’s why he will never believe.
Drishti: So?
Rakshit: So uske liye ab tum ek permanent problem ban chuke ho. Uske plan k beech ab tum khare ho, Pari aur mujhe rasta se hatane se bhi uske haat mein kuch nehi ane wala hai.
So for him you are a permanent problem now. You are standing between his plan, he won’t have anything even after getting rid of me and Pari.
Drishti: Tab to wo mujh par bhi attack karne ka koushis karega.
Then he will try to attack me too.
Rakshit: Mujhe nehi lagta, wo bahut jada cautious hai. Humesha clean kaam karta hai. Agar kaam normally solve kia ja sakta hai to violence use nehi karta.
I don’t think so, he is very cautious. Always does clean job. If he can solve something normally then he won’t use violence.
Drishti’s face lit up as if she understood everything.
Drishti: Matlab wo aisa kuch plan kar raha hai ki ap dono ka kaam tamam karke sara blame mujh par dal dega. Ek tir se teen sikar.
It means he is planning something like after getting rid of you two he will put all the blame on me. Killing three birds with one stone.
Rakshit: Tum kya bahut jada crime shows dekhte ho? Kam dekha karo. Aisa kuch nehi. Abhi k liye tumhe apne raste se hatane ka sabse asan tarika hai ye prove karna ki hum dono jhoot bol rahe hai. Humne shadi nehi ki hai agar ye prove ho jaye to tum….
Do you watch a lot of crime shows? Don’t watch much. Nothing like that. For now the easiest way for him to get rid of you is to prove that we are lying. If this gets proved that we didn’t get married then you will be ….
Drishti: uske hisab se ghar k bahar.
out of the house according to him.
Rakshit: Shadi wale raat jab use pata chala tha ki tum kidnapped hui ho aur main tumhare piche gaya tab wo yahi soch raha tha ki ye naya dushman kaun hai. Par jab subah hum wapas akar humare kahani sunaiya hai uska doubt hum par agaya hai. Use pata hai ki ye humare plan hai par plan kya hai iske barein mein koi idea nehi hai. Last 24 hours baas humein expose karne ki koushis kar raha hoga aur yahi figure out karne ki, ki humare plan kya hai. Par uske haat mein kuch nehi aya. Kiyunki humare kahani sunne mein jitna jhooti hai pata karne pe utna hi sacchi lagega.
At the wedding night when he found out that you got kidnapped and I followed behind only one thing he must have been thinking at that time, that who is this new enemy. Buy when we came back in the morning and narrated our story he doubted us. He knows this is our plan but he have no idea what the plan actually is. In the last 24 hours he have been trying to expose us and trying to figure out what our plan is. But he got nothing. Cause as much as false our story sounds like it will seem truth that much when anyone will trying to find out.
Drishti: Of course, kiyunki apka mahan full proof plan k wajah se.
Of course, because of your full proof great plan.
Rakshit: Tana mara?
Are you taunting?
Drishti: Kya baat kar rahe hai? Main tareef kar rahi hoon apki.
What are you saying? I’m praising you.
Rakshit: Sunne mein to tareef bilkul nehi laga.
It didn’t sound like praise to me at all.
Drishti: Jane dijiye ye sab. Bare bare plan mein aise chote mote misunderstanding hote rehte hai. Ap apna baat puri kijiye na.
Forget all this. Such little misunderstanding happens in such big plans. You complete what you were saying.
Rakshit: So basically main aj kuch info leak karunga, as bait. Aur wo fas jayega us info ko follow karke. I think by tomorrow wo insan humare samne ajayega.
So basically I will leak some info today, as bait. And he will get caught by following that info. I think by tomorrow that person will be in front of us.
Drishti: Pher? Age kya?
Then? What next?
Rakshit: Age aur kya, iske baad kuch bachegai nehi.
What next, there will be nothing left to say after this.
Drishti: Mr Shergil, let me get this straight. Ap itna sara planning karke us insan ka identity expose karne ki koushis kar rahe hain. Fine, par uske baad kya? Ap uske khilaf proof kaise layenge?
Mr Shergil, let me get this straight. After all this planning of yours you are trying to expose the identity of that person. Fine, but what comes after that? How are you going to gather proof against him?
Rakshit: Ek baar uske pata chal jayega to proof bhi ajayega.
If we find him once, we will get the proof too.
Drishti: Mujhe nehi pata, ap kuch overconfident laag rahe hai mujhe. Ap iss waqt usko constantly push kar rahe hain, ek bar jab usko ap corner kar lenge apke pas uske identity to hoga par apko ye bhi samajh na chaihie ki agar ek bar koi corner pe ajate hai na, wo desperate ho jata hai. Aur uske identity hi only cheez hai jiske wajah se wo itna cautious hain. Ek bar wo expose ho gaya uske pass tab khone k liye kuch nehi hoga, tab sidha attack karne ki koushis bhi kar sakta hai. Apke pass aise situations deal karne ki plans pehle se hona chaihie.
I don’t know, you seem a bit overconfident to me. You are currently pushing him at a corner constantly, when you will get him into the corner you will have his identity but you have to understand that when someone gets in a corner, they become desperate. And his identity is the only thing that’s making him cautious all the time. If he gets exposed once, he will have nothing to lose, he can then try to attack directly too. You should plan from earlier to deal such situations.
Rakshit sighs and gets up from bed. He stands in front of her and looks at her.
Rakshit: Do you trust me? Then trust me I have got it all under control.
He leaves the room. Drishti looks on, she doesn’t seems to be convinced.
Drishti: Ap jo bhi bole Rakshit sir, ap jitna bhi plan karein ye mamla itni asani se nehi suljhega. I hope apka proof pane ka plan direct confrontation na ho. It’s just too risky. Aur sach to ye hai ki jis waqt apko us insan ka identity pata chalega apko bahut bara shock lagega. Ap jitna bhi pre caution lijiye ye bolke ki culprit family mein se koi hai, abhi bhi ap dil se kisi par bhi doubt nehi karte.
Whatever you say Rakshit sir, how much you keep planning but this problem won’t be solved so easily. I hope your plan to collect proof is not direct confrontation. It’s just too risky. And the truth is when you will find out the identity of that person you will get a big shock. It doesn’t matter how much you take pre caution saying the culprit is someone from the family, you don’t doubt anyone in your heart..
Drishti starts strolling inside the room and keeps talking to herself.
Drishti: This is not good. Rakshit sir sab pe trust kartein hain. Khud k ghar walon pe doubt karna hi bahut mushkil hain, aur actually ekin karna to….. Agar aise chalta rahe to jab unko pata chalega sach tab wo culprit unke shock lagne kai fyda utha k kuch kar lega. Agar unhe at least kuch idea ho pehle se ki kaun hai ye culprit to pher shayed Rakshit sir sab kuch thande dimag mein apne plan k hisab se kar payenge, shock thora kam lagega.
This is not good. Rakshit sir trusts everyone. It is very tough to doubt your own family members, it’s more tough to actually believe it…. If this goes like this then when he finds out the truth then the culprit might take advantage of his shock and do something. If he at least have some idea from the start who could the culprit be then maybe Rakshit sir will be able handle everything according to his plan with a cool head, the shock will be a little less
Drishti stops walking and magically shifts on a chair.
Drishti: But pata kaise chalega ki culprit kaun hai. Matlab agar itna asan hota to Rakshit sir ka itna bara grand plan ka kya jarurat tha aur ye bematlab ki shadi ki acting hi kiyun kar rahi hoon main. Aisa thori hai ki main akele hi ye mystery solve kar lungi, bina Rakshit sir k. Nehi Drishti, aise negative maat soch, point hai Rakshit sir ko help karna, tere help k bina Rakshit sir success nehi ho payenge. Aur unko tera abhi bhootiya power nehi dimag ka power ka jarurat hai. To soch, jor se soch, bachpan se jitna detective stories tune para hai us sab knowledge ka aj exam hai, kuch soch.
But how will I figure out who is the culprit. If it was that easy then what was the need of Rakshit sir’s this big grand plan and why I am doing this meaningless acting of marriage. No Drishti, don’t think so negatively, the point is to help Rakshit sir, he won’t get success without your help. And right now he doesn’t need your ghost power but brain power. So think, think heard, all the detective stories you have read till now since childhood today is the exam of that knowledge, think something.
She tries to think heard, tries different places in the room on hope to find any idea but in the end gives up.
Drishti: Kuch bhi nehi soch rahe hai. Matlab itne din se to hum yahi pata karne ki koushis kar rahe hain, kitne sare planning ki, counter attack ki par kabhi bhi kuch pata nehi chala. Har bar haat se nikal jata hai.
I can’t think of anything. I mean we are trying to find this out since all these days, we did so many plannings, counter attacks but we never found anything. He slips out of our hands everytime.
Drishti stays sad for sometime then suddenly something struks her. Her face lit up as she stands up in excitement.
Drishti: Of course, jab haat mein kuch nehi ata tab ek bar fer se suru se suru karo, fer se crime scene visit karo. Shayed kuch naya clue mil jaye jo pehle nehi notice kia, koi bhi detective story ka sabse common step. Par yaha crime scene…idea, conspiracy wall. Abhi tak humne conspiracy wall taiyar kiya kiyun nehi? Koi bhi investigation bina conspiracy wall k puri thora hota hai.
Of course, when you don’t find anything then you should start from the start again, visit the crime scene again. You might find some new clue which you didn’t noticed the first time, it is the most common step in any detective story. But a crime scene in this case…idea, conspiracy wall. Why didn’t we prepared a conspiracy wall until now?Can any investigation gets complete without a conspiracy wall.
Drishti does magic and appears in a small room, it’s a bit dark, have a yellow light hanging from the ceiling. She acts like a detective wearing a hat and holding a magnifying glass. She does magic and all conspiracy wall appears before her. It has pictures of all the family members including Rakshit, Pari and her own. It has incidents from the start till now. Drishti looks over the whole thing, sometimes she does magic and adds some photos related to the incident, sometimes rearrange some things. She attentively lookes at all the incidents and information from the start. Her eyes stops at the day when they went to the cafe following the waiter right after the engagement day. When they almost caught the black hoodie guy. She closes her eyes and remembers the whole incident again, then opens her eyes.
Drishti: Wo black hoodie wala insan, wo koi larka tha. Kaun tha wo, main culprit ya fer uske liye kaam karne wala koi?
That black hoodie person, that was some guy. Who was he, the main culprit or someone who works for him?
She thinks for sometime.
Drishti: Nehi, wo insan aise paise k mamle mein kisi aur ko involved nehi karega. Aur usne jab Rakshit sir confront karne ki koushis ki tab ek bar bhi apna shakal nehi dikhaya, chupa raha tha. Matlab Rakshit sir use pehchan ta hain, to fer gharwala, koi larka, ghar mein to bas….. Nehi aise bas theory laga k kuch decide nehi kar sakta. Mujhe at least kuch chaihie meri theory confirm karne k liye.
No, that person won’t involve anyone else in the matter of money like this. And when Rakshit sir tried to confront him he never showed his face for once, was hiding it. It means Rakshit sir knows him, so that means a family member, a boy, in the house there is just…… No I can’t decide anything like this with just theory. I at least need something to confirm this theory.
She thinks for sometime. Then does magic and appears before Romi’s room. Romi was using his phone. He looks up once and notices her.
Romi: Arey di, ap kab aye? Ander ayie na.
Hey di, when did you come? Come inside.
Drishti comes inside.
Romi: Kuch kaam tha apko mujhse?
Did you had any work with me?
Drishti: Kuch puch na tha mujhe, but tujhe bas jawab dena hai, badle mein kuch sawal nehi kar sakta. At least abhi nehi.
I wanted to ask something, but you just have to answer, you can’t ask any questions in return. At least not now.
Romi looks at her for sometime trying to figure out what is this about. Finally he speaks.
Romi: Thik hai puchie jo bhi puchna hai, main koi sawal nehi karunga. Par pehle se bol deta hoon agar ap mere love life k barein mein puchenge to koi jawab nehi milne wala apko.
Fine ask what you want to ask, I won’t ask anything. But I am warning you from the start if you ask something about my love life I am not gonna answer.
Drishti ignores his joke and asks directly.
Drishti: Tujhe humara engagement wale din k agle din yaad hai?
Do you remember the next day of our engagement day.
Romi: Ha, bahut acche se yaad hai, jitna bara shock laga tha us din, I don’t think main kabhi bhulunga wo din.
Yeah, I remember very well, I got such a big shock that day, I don’t think I will ever forget that day.
Drishti: Us din jab Rakshit sir mujhse milne gaye the Pari k sath, tab ghar pe kaun kaun tha?
When that day Rakshit sir came to meet me with Pari, who were at home?
Romi: Ghar pe… sab hi tha. Jahatak mujhe yaad araha hai, ha sab log the aur sab bahut sad the ap logo k drama k wajah se.
In the house… everyone was here. As far as I can remember, yes everyone was here and they were all sad because your drama.
Drishti gets dissapointed.
Drishti: Accha?
Really?
She turns to leave but Romi suddenly remembers something.
Romi: Yaad aya, Rakshit bhai wapas ane se pehle maine Daksh bhai ko bahar se atein hue dekha tha. But wo bahar kab gaye the mujhe nehi pata. Bahut jaldbazi mein the.
I remember, right before Rakshit bhai came home, Daksh bhai came from somewhere. Though I don’t know when he went outside. He was in quite hurry.
Drishti gets shocked. Romi looks at her being confused at her reaction.
At night
Rakshit comes inside his room and finds Drishti standing at a side, looking at the family photograph on the wall. He gets surprised as he never saw her making such a face. She turns at him.
Rakshit: Drishti, sab thik hai na?
Drishti, everything is ok right?
Drishti comes in front of him and signals him toward the chair beside.
Drishti: Baithie, apse kuch baat karna hain.
Sit, I have to talk with you about something.
Rakshit feels a bit nervous, he sits down.
Rakshit: Baat kya hai, itna serious mood kiyun?
What is the matter, why the mood is so serious?
Drishti sits in front of him.
Drishti: Kiyunki baat serious hi hai. Mujhe pata hai wo insan kaun hai jise ap dhund rahe hain.
Cause the matter is indeed serious. I know who it is you are looking for.
Rakshit’s expressions changes, he smiles.
Rakshit: Seriously, ye baat karna hain tumhe. Maine bola na kal pata chal jayega. Abhi aisa khel khelke kuch pata nehi chalega.
Seriously, you wanted to talk about this. I told you we will find out tomorrow. You won’t find out anything by playing this game now.
Drishti’s expression doesn’t change neither her tone.
Drishti: Main koi khel nehi khel rahi hoon nahi koi majak kar rahi hoon. Mujhe sach mein pata hain us insan kaun hai.
I’m not playing any game neither doing any prank. I really do know who that person is.
Rakshit: To tumne apna dimag lagaiya, maine mana kia tha na. Well tumne jo bhi socha ho galat hi hoga.
So you used your head again, I asked you not to. Well whatever you thought of must be wrong.
Rakshit was about to get up from the chair but stops hearing her words.
Drishti: Ye ap mante hai ki maine jo bhi pata kia galat pata kia ya fer chate hai?
Do you believe it that whatever I found out is wrong or you wish it.
Rakshit looks at Drishti, his face slowly strengths.
Drishti: Sach bolie, kya ap sach mein sach janne k liye taiyar hain? Kya jab apko kal sach pata chalega tab ap use man payenge? Kiyunki ek bar jab sach bahar ayega, tab kuch bhi aur pehle jaisa nehi rahega, na ye family, na ap. Kya ap taiyar hain iske liye?
Tell me the truth, are you really prepared to know the truth? When tomorrow you will find out the truth will you able to accept that? Cause when the truth comes out once then nothing will remain the same, neither this family, nor you. Are you prepared for that?
Rakshit doesn’t say something for sometime, both of them starts a staring contest to prove their own points of view. Finally Rakshit speaks.
Rakshit: Bolo, jo bhi bolna hai.
Speak, whatever you want to say.
Drishti pauses for a few seconds then speaks.
Drishti: It’s Daksh.
Drishti expected Rakshit to deny immediately so she was preparing her counter argument ready, but he doesn’t say anything. Drishti waits for his response.
Rakshit: Aur tumhe aisa kiyun lagta hai?
And why do you think this?
Drishti: Jisdin ap us insan ko uss cafe mein almost pakar rahe the, Daksh ghar par nehi tha. Wohi wo insan tha jo cafe pe aya tha, jiske piche ap bhage the.
That day you almost caught that guy in that cafe, Daksh wasn’t at home. He was that guy who came to the cafe, the person you ran after.
Rakshit: Isse kuch prove nehi hota, upar se na Daksh k pass waisa bike hai na black hoodie.
This doesn’t prove anything, and over that Daksh does not have a bike like that nor that black hoodie.
Drishti: Kal raat ka wo pop quiz humare relationship k upar uska idea Daksh ne dia tha, apne bhi dekha kaise usne pehle se questions taiyar karke aya tha. Wo humare sacchai ka pata lagane ka koushis kar raha tha.
Last night that pop quiz on our relationship was Daksh’s idea, even you saw how he prepared questions beforehand. He was trying to find out the truth about us.
Rakshit: Uska hissa banne k liye tumne mujhe bola tha. Jitna uske planning Daksh ka tha utna hi Romi aur Rashi ka tha.
You asked me to be a part of that. As much planning Daksh had for it, the same amount was done by Romi and Rashi.
Drishti: Apne bola tha ap mere baat pe ekin karenge, to please ye ekbar karlijiye, pehli aur akhri bar. Wo yaad hai jab gharwale ko pata chala ki apne mujhe propose kia hai, humne sabse pucha tha par pura circle ban gaya tha kisne kiske pass se suna tha, chachi ne Daksh se suna tha aur Daksh ne kaha tha usne Rashi se suna. Maine fer se chachi aur Rashi ko pucha. Chachi ko Daksh se ye baat bahut pehle pata chala tha, Rashi k batane se bhi pehle. Wo kaise? Riya uss insan k kehne pe kaam kar rahi thi, aur pher yaha se bhag bhi gayi. Riya ka to koi bhi gharwalon se koi lenadena nehi hai. Iss family se use bas office mein ap miley the aur Daksh. Daksh uska bhi boss hai, uske kehne par wo to aisa kar hi sakte hai.
You had said that you will believe me, then believe for this once, for the first and last time. Do you remember that time when the family members found out you proposed me, we asked everyone but it became a circle of who heard from whom, chachi had heard from Daksh and Daksh had said he heard from Rashi. I asked Rashi and chachi again. Chachi had heard about this from Daksh way long ago, before Rashi told Daksh. How is that? Riya was working on that man’s order and she even ran away from here. Riya never had any relationship with any family members ever. She had only met you and Daksh from this family in the office. Daksh too is her boss, she can do those things on his order, can’t she?
Rakshit gets restless hearing Drishti, he gets up from the chair, walks a bit away from there and faces the balcony. Drishti closes her eyes. For sometime there is only silence between them. Rakshit’s eyes gets full with tears, full of anger and pain. Drishti speaks again, but her tone is changed this time.
Drishti: Aj ya kal, sach bahar ahi jayega, ap mere baat pe ekin karenge ya nehi ye apka decision. Mera kaam tha apko warn karna wo maine kia. Ab main chalta hoon.
Either today or tomorrow, the truth will eventually come out, you believe in my words or not that is totally your decision. My job was to warn you that I did. Now I should go.
Rakshit: Kahan?
Where?
Drishti: Ap se door.
Away from you.
Rakshit: What?
Rakshit gets shocked, he wipes his tears and turns at her. She is slowly disappearing. He comes toward her in a haste.
Rakshit: Ye kya ho raha hain? Ja rahe ho matlab?
What is happening? What do you mean you are goinng?
Rakshit’s voice gets more and more impatient while Drishti’s voice is calm.
Drishti: Ek na ek din to jana hi tha na. Apko to pata tha.
I was supposed to go away one day. You knew that.
Rakshit: Par abhi kiyun? Abhi to samay tha na humare pass? Humne to abhi bhi uss insan ko nehi pakra. Maine tumhare baat nehi mana isliye? Thik hai hum baat karte hai. Main mera sara plan tumhe bataunga. Hum dono milke decide karenge. Tum jo bologe wo karunga.
But why now? We still had time, didn’t we? We still haven’t caught that guy. It’s because I didn’t listen to you now? Fine let’s talk. I will tell you all my plans. We will decide everything together. I’ll do whatever you ask me.
Drishti smiles at him.
Drishti: Main ap par pura trust karti hoon, apne bola hain ap kalke ander sab kuch solve kar denge to ap kar denge.
I trust you completely, you have said you will solve everything by tomorrow then you will solve everything.
Rakshit: Par sabkuch mere haat mein to nehi hota na. Agar usne attack kia to?
But not everything is in my hand. What if he attacks again?
Drishti: Main ap se door jake bhi yahi rahunga, kuch nehi hone doonga.
I’ll stay here even after going away from you, I will let no such thing happen.
Rakshit: Par…tum…. ab….. Kiyun?
But… you…. now… Why?
Drishti: Jab ap mujhe justice dila denge tab main kab humesha k liye gayeb ho jaunga wo mujhe bhi nehi pata. Isse accha ye hai na, apko properly abhi bye bol du. Ap baki sabko mere taraf se bye bol dena.
When you will give me justice even I don’t know when exactly I will go away forever after that. This is better then that, I can say bye to you properly right now. You tell the others bye for me.
Rakshit: Aise kaise? Main sabko kya bolunga?
How can I? What am I gonna say to everyone?
Drishti: Wo to apko pehle sochna chaihie tha, maine bahut bar apko warn kia tha.
You should have thought about that earlier, I had warned you a lot of time.
Rakshit: Drishti mujhe tumhe bahut kuch bolna hai abhi bhi.
Drishti I still have a lot of things to tell you.
Drishti: Good bye Rakshit sir, ajk baad main apko aur kabhi nehi dikhunga.
Good bye Rakshit sir, you will never see me again after this.
Rakshit forwards his hand to touch her but she gets dissappered completely. Rakshit looks around the room, there is no one but only him there. The curtains slowly flies in the air. Rakshit laughs a bit.
Rakshit: Drishti ab bahut natak ho gaya hai, wapas ajau.
Drishti you have done a lot of drama, now come back.
But nothing happens, no one answers him. His smile dissappers and worries takes the place.
Rakshit: Drishti kaha ho?
Drishti where are you?
Still no one answers. He starts screaming her name but nothing happens. He slowly looks around the room.
Damn it Drishti jawab do.
You are here, aren’t you? I screamed so loudly that the whole city should have gathered by now but no one from the family came to check. It was you who did magic and didn’t let my voice get out of this room, isn’t it? Damn it Drishti answer me.
But no answer comes as Rakshit keeps standing alone in the room waiting for something to happen.
Next: Rakshit misses Drishti. He face off with Daksh.
