After waiting for an hour, she comes out of the car and goes to the Happy Home. Shrugging off all the bad thoughts and hoping for the best,she was going and going towards happy home.The distance from the car towards happy home wasn’t so long but for her it seems miles away. She was taking baby steps,her heart was beating fast.
When she reached in front of happy home,her heart skips a beat. The scenario in front of her eyes make her rooted to her place for some time,she was so frightened that she didn’t know whether to go forward or just stood at the place,where she was.
Dev was standing in front of happy home,prakrati was hugging him tightly from his knees,he was trying to calm her down by caressing her back and was taking with a police officer. Two police men were standing at the gate of happy home. Some people were watching all this from a distance but no one was speaking in the middle.
My sona ; saying this prakrati runs towards sonakshi,the very next sec she saw her standing there,hearing her words,dev turns his head towards the direction where she goes and saw a frightened sona.His nose was still red due to cold and eyes were also red thus he wasn’t sneezing anymore.sona kneels down to take her in her arms.seeing this,dev again continues his discussion with the officer.
Prakrati was fast asleep,when sona scooped her up in her embrace. Sona was’nt moving from her place so that prakrati’s sleep does not worsen but eagerly wanted to know the reason behind all this.After the 15-minute long conversation, the police officer shakes hand with Dev and goes from there while the other police men were still standing outside of happy home. Sona waited impatiently for this,so that she could ask him the problem.
I told you to be there,then why did you came here?? ; he asked her in his annoyed voice,standing in front of her.
Suhhh……..I also wants to know so many things but first let’s go inside before she woke up ; she says this to him in a low voice,indicating him about prakrati’s sleeping state,anger and eagerness was clearly visible in her voice and goes inside happy home.
Dev just hummed in reply and follows her.Dida was present at the hall along with kids, fear was clearly visible on their faces. Now she was hell scared,everyone was safe and sound but all of them were so frightened,why. Just then,prakrati woke up with a jerk and starts crying,loudly. Dev came and swept her in his hands,immediately.
Suhhhh…..Don’t cry sunshine,everything is ohk,I have driven that bad uncle, now nobody will bother you,see everyone is fine ; he says this to calm her down,listening to his words prakrati stops crying and hugged him tightly.
He placed her down after calming her. Sona goes near her and kneels down,till her level. She cupped her face with her palms and wiped her dried tears with her thumbs.
Whom are you talking about,don’t you tell this to your sona ; she asks her with a puppy face,which never fails to convince anyone.
*Few Hours Ago*
Dida was sitting in the hall with all the children, everyone was busy in his own game. Then suddenly Akhil came there, he was heavily drunk, he had a bottle of wine in his hand,he was walking in his shaking state.
What are you doing here??? ; dida asks him in her meekly voice.
Akhil threw the bottle with a jerk and all kids starts screaming with fear. He goes nearer to them,trying to balance himself and not to fall. Dida pushes him away from them,with all her power and pushes all the kids in nearby room and locks it from outside.
Akhil falls on the floor laying flat on his abdomen and get irked by this act of dida. He tries to get up,by placing his hands on the floor and applies all his power to get up but to his dismay,he couldn’t,he was too drunk that he can’t even stand up by his own.
He was looking like a hungry beast,who can do anything and harm anyone for his own deeds.Dida got scared seeing this,she didn’t understand what to do. She wanted to save the kids from this beast but she couldn’t stop him alone.He is more powerful then her and dangerous too. She dialed sona’s num huridly but she wasn’t answering her calls. She tries to call her again and again but didn’t get any answer because sona’s phon was on silent mode and was in her room but she wasn’t in her room,she was at dining area along with Dixits.
On the other hand akhil was trying and trying to get up and was succeeding in it. Dida jerks her phon in tension when she suddenly reminds of dev, she starts searching for his visiting card and goes into the room where all the kids was scared of all the happening. She goes to prakrati and asked her for dev’s visiting card.
Prakrati,baby, can you please call him and ask him to come here asap,only he can help us in this,please call him bachaa,till then i’ll take care of him that he didn’t harm you ; helpless dida says this to prakrati,who was now sobbing with the fear of akhil,she noded in approval and starts dialing his number while dida goes out and again locks the room.
Dev was talking with Ishwari about kaadha (decoction) when his phon buzzed. It was an unkown number which is not new for him because being a business tycoon,he get so many calls from other companies,news channels,reporters and it’s important for him to attend every call,thinking this he excuses himself and goes out to attend the call.
He picks the call but before he could say a word he heard loud sobbing of a baby girl and didn’t take too time to recognize that person.
Prakrati ; he asks the caller in his perplexed voice.
Miss caw boy ; prakrati manages to answer back in her squeaky voice.
Wh….What happened,sunshine!!! Why are you crying baby ; he immediately asks her in his fearful Voice,waiting impatiently for her reply.
Please save us……..Please……. This uncle is very bad…..please come hele…. ; she says this while sobbing badly.
M coming…… just wait for me,i’ll not let anything wrong happen to you,just wait for a while,m coming ; saying this he immediately cuts the call and runs inside his house to take sona,along with him because he knew that only she can calm the kids.
He didn’t say anything to sona about the call because firstly he himself didn’t know that what had happened there and secondly he didn’t know that how will she react listening about it and he didn’t wanted to waste more time,to make her understand the depth of the situation so he kept mum whole journey.
On the other hand akhil starts throwing things in house and was making noise,frightening them more.
What she thinks to herself,she slapped me,me,Akhil khanna, she have to pay for this,now i’ll show her my power ; he says this in his devilish tone and was going towards the room in which all the kids were frightened.
He was about to open the door just then dev clutches his wrist tightly. His face was covered with his handkerchief so akhil wasn’t able to see his face. Dev’s eyes were boiling with anger seeing the situation of the house,hearing the screaming of kids,he didn’t took sona along with him because he didn’t wanted to risk her.
He jerk him away from there and assures the safety of kids from dida. He wanted to handle the situation with maturity but then the thought of akhil hurting kids make him anger and can’t control himself and ended up with beating him harshly that he looses his consciousness.
In all this thing he makes sure that akhil didn’t identity him and then he opens the lock of room.He kneels down infront of kids and assures them their safety,all the kids were frightened but prakrati was his center of attraction,he calms them and was about to go out to call the police when prakrati holds his hand and pleaded him not to go anywhere,with her teary eyes.Dev scoops her in his arms and hugs her loving,asuring her that nothing wrong had happened but she wasn’t leaving him,knowing her condition he didn’t insist her to leave him,he didn’t leave her side and then he calls police.Police came and put injured and unconscious akhil into the police van. Then dev talks with the police man not to put his name infront of akhil in this matter and makes sure the safety of happy home that no one can harm the kids,in all this incident prakrati didn’t leave his side and was asuring herself that her Miss caw boy will never let anything wrong happen to them.
*Present Time*
Listening all this,sona’s eyes were full of tears and mixed of all the emotions,she was happy because all were safe and sound,she was angry because so many things happened in her absence but nobody informed her but at the very next moment all her emotions were connected to dev because he saved them,fought with akhil forgetting about his safety,took good care of everyone at this moment,she didn’t know what to do with him. Should she thank him for saving their life,her life,her prakrati or should she get angry on him for handling the situation by his own and not telling her about this. She was just staring at him longingly.
