Soumya stood silently as the members of the family were accusing her of betrayal. How could they? This was the trust they had on her.
Her eyes got spilled with tears as every word of each member was piercing her heart.
” I can’t believe you soumya I trusted you ” said rudra sadly.
” we can’t believe you betrayed us. How much did every one love you in this family? ” said bhavya angrily and soumya rolled her eyes at the comment.
” I can’t believe I let you stay here. I was fooled easily. You can never be the granddaughter of my friend, you are Mrs kapoor’s daughter. ” said Dadi
Soumya closed her eyes in pain not able to take more taunts. She had enough. No matter whatever she does this family will misunderstand her. She realized that she can’t let anyone to belittle her feelings and emotions. Her heart broke every moment everyone misjudged her.
” enough ” she screamed making everyone silent.
She moved towards anika and shivaay.
” did you trust me so little bade bhaiya and bhabhi that you believed and assumed everything you saw. You did not think once that you could have asked me? How could you people think I betrayed you? ” said soumya looking at them.
Anika and shivaay could not answer her back nor meet soumya’s eyes. Her eyes were screaming that she was innocent.
Soumya moved towards omkara and gauri. She smiled sadly looking at omkara.
” bade bal bale bhaiya you said I’m as dearer as prinku to you and no one should treat me as outsider but today you have the done the same thing. I have tied rakhi to you and you think I could destroy your family? ” asked soumya looking at him angrily but her eyes were filled with tears.
” people are right. It is only blood relationship that matters “
She finally came towards rudra and spoke
” you had hurt my self respect once rudra and trust me I left the next moment you hurt my self respect . I never wanted to come back to your life, it was by coincidence that I spotted sveltana and veer in one of the restaurant at Australia and heard about their plans to destroy oberoi’s. My stupid heart dragged me back to India to protect your family. If I wanted you I could never try finding bhavya for you. Yes I joined the enemies only to collect evidence against them for you people and what did I get? A tag of betrayer ” said soumya , Her tears were threatening to flow from her eyes but her anger subsided it.
She took some things from her bag and forwarded some papers to shivaay.
” it has evidence against your enemies. All the clips which they used to blackmail are also present . You can destroy it ” said soumya.
Shivaay looked at the paper regretfully. He was so wrong about soumya. How did he even doubt someone like her who had risked her life for them. Even prinku could have not done this for them.
Soumya went towards bhavya and looked at her
” bhavya I never intended to separate you and rudra. Whatever I did was to gain the trust of the enemies. I would never fight for someone who had hurt me once. Yes I had loved rudra once but not more than my self respect. I’m not going to take every insult thrown on me by the name of love. For me love is something beautiful and it comes with respect and trust. Love means to accept a person as he is not to point out their flaws. I would never would want be with a person who makes fun of my weight. Love is about loving someone’s heart not beauty because when you love someone’s heart the magic will remain forever but about beauty I can’t say the same. Anyway all the best for your marriage ” said soumya.
Soumya went towards rudra and looked at him.
” I hated you rudra for your male chauvinist’s thoughts about girls. Falling in love with you was not I wanted . I did not fall in love with you Mr rudra singh oberoi, I fell in love with my dumbbell oberoi who had made me smile in between my tears when I was alone thinking about my brother. I did not fall in love with your name or body I feel in love with your heart but I was so wrong . You proved to be one of the boys who only care about beauty. I am not confessing this to make you feel guilty I’m confessing this so that I never regret in my life that I did not tell you this. I hope I never meet you again “
Soumya took her bag and was going out when anika had stood in front of her
” soumya we are sorry. Please don’t go away ” said anika.
” please don’t stop me di. I want to go away for myself and my work is done. I will never forget you people. ” replied soumya hiding her hurt.
Everyone were pleading her not to go except rudra, bhavya and omkara.
” we are such hypocrites soumya. We accused you of so things but what did we do? We let rudra treat you as he wanted. We let you get hurt. Never valued your marriage with rudra. Never cared what did you feel when everyone were celebrating rudra’s second marriage. We don’t deserve you soumya. ” said omkara making everyone silent.
Soumya could not reply anything and went away taking her bag with her head held high. No one stopped her as they understood that they were too late to realize what they had lost. You realize the value of thing when you lose it, oberoi’s lately realized they lost a diamond while collecting stones. But no one could have felt the pain which rudra felt as he realized he was in love with soumya and wanted her but was it too late?.
