Sparsh Singh Kotwal Steps into ‘Parineetii’ as Monty: Actor Excited Despite Replacing Prabhat Choudhary

The television show “Parineetii” witnesses a shift as Sparsh Singh Kotwal takes over the role of Monty, previously portrayed by Prabhat Choudhary and later replaced Rishi Grover in August. Having essayed the character of Abhay Tandon in “Kumkum Bhagya,” Sparsh eagerly anticipates his role in “Parineetii.”

Expressing his enthusiasm, Sparsh shared with ETimes TV, “I’m thrilled to begin shooting for Parineetii as Monty. The character appears intriguing. While stepping into a role post-replacement may invite judgment, I aim to approach it with a stress-free mindset. Initially, when offered the role, I felt a mix of happiness and nervousness. Working again with Ekta Kapoor ma’am and her team is a delight. Although nervous about replacing someone, I see it as a new opportunity.”

Acknowledging the challenge of maintaining the essence set by the previous actor, he added, “Replacing someone poses the challenge of maintaining the established mood and essence. Yet, with the divine’s blessings, I am grateful to be part of this wonderful show.”

Sparsh, recognized for his roles in shows like “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin,” “Maddam Sir,” and “Jai Hanuman – Sankat Mochan Naam Tiharo,” praised the welcoming nature of the team. He shared, “While I miss my previous ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ set and the invaluable bonds formed there, the team here in ‘Parineetii’ has been warm and accepting. Despite being unfamiliar initially, conversations with Ankur (Verma) and Aakash (Talwar) eased my transition, making me feel comfortable and aiding me in understanding my character.”

The departure of Rishi Grover from the show stemmed from creative differences as he anticipated a substantial role, which didn’t materialize, prompting his exit.
