CHAPTER 2
ARJUN REACHED HOME late night. He just wished only for one thing; to throw his dead tired body on his soft, fluffy. King-sized bed. As he reached the palace, many maids stood near the entrance to welcome him. It was a custom. He sighed at it. He came out of the car and stood near the entrance. The maids started to welcome him. He just put on a fake smile. After 20 minutes of welcoming rituals, he went to the living room where his mother and sister was there. It was a rule that until all the men of the house does not return home, no woman should go to sleep. Arjun always opposed this one but has to follow it since he is a prince. Many times he used to get irritated with this saying “you have to follow this, since you are the prince or you can’t do this because you are the prince.”
He went near his mom and gave a peck on her hand. He always hated it. Many times he wished to hug his mom tight, sleep on her lap, kiss her on her cheeks but all this are restricted because she is a queen. He then went to his sister myra and gave a peck on her hand. She frowned at him. He then winked at her. She chuckled and nodded her head.
Nithya looked at her both children in a suspicious way. She then asked them to go to sleep. As soon as she gone, arjun took myra to his room. He then closed the door. He then closed her eyes and took her near the cupboard and opened it. He then opened her eyes. There was a gift. Myra squealed in happiness. She then took it tore the gift wrapper as fast as she could.
Arjun admired at his little sisters childishness. Outside they would show that they are very decent, mannered, royal children. But when alone they would do all crazy things like ordinary kids.
As soon as their family members go to sleep they would do all sort of crazy things in dark. They would play video games which are buried deep in arjun’s cupboard. He would always leave his little sister to win. They would stealthily go out of palace and would have road side golgappas and ice cream.
Arjun smiled as he thought about their lovely moments spent together. Only one person know about their secrets. It is sam, their sil, husband of neil. Sometimes she too would join them or would guide them out of the palace without anyone noticing. Now nesam was in London.
As soon as myra opened the cover she was super excited, it had Hyderabad biriyani, moong chaana, golgappas and ice cream. She gave his brother a tight hug. She knew he would always gift her with something simple which she love.
Arjun knew how to make her sister happy. She never liked dress or jewelleries. They then chit chatted for some time.
After myra left, arjun went to freshen up. He then went to sleep but couldn’t sleep. He then went near balcony and started to stare at the moon. He then closed his eyes to dream about a normal life where he can enjoy.

SOME WHERE FAR
Radhika who got from a deep sleep woke up. She then got up. Her head was paining severly. She somehow went to washroom and got fresh. She then went back to sleep but
couldn’t so she went near the balcony and stared at the beautiful moon. She then closed her eyes and dreamt about the other life other than being thief.
The next morning
Around 6 am
Arjuns beautiful sleep was disturbed by a knock. He first decided to ignore it and pulled the blanket on him. But the knock was repeated for some more time. He lazily threw his blanket on the floor. He had a frown on his face. He opened the door to blast the person. But all his anger flew seeing the person. It was none other than his mom.
She was already ready in her finest saree. Seeing arjun still in his night dress made her angry.
Nithya: can I come in?
Arjun : mom whats dis…you can come in my room any time you want ma? Why asking..
Nithya: I want to talk to you…go and get fresh…I am waiting..
Arjun nodded his head. He then went to washroom. Nithya walked in. she then noticed the blanket lying on the floor. She got angry but soon subsided it. She then picked the
blanket herself. She too didn’t like all these things. She too wished to be like all other mothers. She always carved to spend time with her children but she was helpless.
After some time arjun came and sat on the couch.
Nithya : the Wazi diamond , given by EMPOROR AURANGAZEB to our family is now ours. The government of India declared that it has become ours legally. So today they will come to handle it to us. I want you to be here.
Arjun: ji mom…I will be here and by the way I don’t have any meeting today. So by the way did you appoint any physiotherapist for dad?
Nithya : yaa I am searching for the best one. But what is the use, he would send them back. It’s the ninth physiotherapist…I found him with difficulty…ufff …Iur dad na
Arjun started to laugh…soon nithya realised what she said and excused herself and went. Arjun sighed….
The next day
All the newspaper was flooded with the news of wazi diamond …and its owner: THE RANAS
THE WHOLE CITY’S TALK WAS ONLY ABOUT THE DIAMOND WHICH COST A LOT…EVEN TONNY READ THE NEWS. A SMIRK APPERED ON HIS FACE, HIS EYES
TWINKLED AND HE LOOKED AT RADHIKA WHO WAS WATERING THE PLANT…..TO BE CONTINUED
