Story After 6 Years #RIANSH #IMMJ2 – Episode 23

Hello everyone, I know I have taken far to too long to update. I apologise for that; I am not going to give any excuses I just didn’t get myself to update but have finally found free time to write one up.

I understand some of you would have lost interest in this ff because it’s been so long, I understand and will not feel bad if the response is low.

Late at night at Khuranna residence:

Everyone was present. After the whole Kabir and Anupriya fiasco Preeti and Shiven thought to organise a causal dinner to dust off the incident. All the Raisinghnaias as well as Riddhima and Pragati join them, including Tanya (being Janvi’s sister they can’t ignore her).

Shaina: mom I don’t like this curry, I don’t want to finish it.

Riddhima: Shaina come on I have taught you to eat all vegetables, it’s just bhindi.

Vansh: Shaina if you eat this, I promise to get ice for dessert.

Shovan: Shaina is so stupid she is sacred to eat bhindi.

Listening to this Shaina attacks Shovan and Sakshi who was there couldn’t help herself but join her cousins. Everyone was amused at the cute bickering of the kids while Riddhima was embarrassed as her kids always found ways to fight.

Riddhima: Kids stop fighting! For god’s sake this is not even our house.

Preeti: It’s ok Riddhima beta they are kids plus they are so cute.

Riddhima: I know aunty, but they have to learn to behave. Kids come with me to the poolside. I need to talk to you.

At the poolside:

Riddhima: kids the way you behaved inside is not acceptable. And Shovan why were you teasing your sister.

Voice: Because he is her brother.

Everyone turned around to see Vansh standing near the entrance to the poolside.

Vansh: Come on Riddhima they are siblings, do you know how much I have annoyed and teased Siya and Ishani in our childhood.

Riddhima: Vansh please I know you are their father, but I know how to raise my kids. And what are you teaching them? How to be naughty.

Vansh: Oh god Riddhima you always find ways to lock horns.

They bicker cutely for a good 10 mins while the kids are enjoying their parents’ fight.

Shovan: Mom and dad are worse than us.

Shaina: I know even we don’t fight like this.

They both laugh at their parents’ cuteness and interject.

Shaina: Dad you said we will go for ice cream.

Riddhima: He also said that you’ll get ice cream if you finish bhindi which didn’t happen so no ice cream!

Vansh: Riddhima you have become old and boring (hearing this the kids laugh and Riddhima sulks).

Riddhima: Ok fine let’s go but tomorrow for lunch I am feeding all of you karela.

They leave while Tanya who was listening to all this was fuming in anger seeing bonding between the family and how Riddhima was snatching her dream of becoming Mrs VRS.

Tanya (thinks): Riddhima you are becoming my hurdle I have to find a way to get rid of you.

Next day at the hospital:

Vansh had come to meet Janvi and get Siya checked to ensure she was recovering fine. As he was leaving, he sees Riddhima leaving the hospital with Vishal. He decided to follow them.

They all reach Blue Orchid restaurant – Riddhima and Vishal in Vishal’s car while Vansh in his own car following behind them.

Vansh sits on a nearby table and hides away from the two.

Riddhima and Vishal discuss on his proposal and wedding plans while enjoying their lunch. Seeing Riddhima laughing whole heartedly with Vishal made him sad but he knew the pain she had harboured for 6 years is not easy to forget in 6 days. He needed to diligently pursue Riddhima and ask for her forgiveness.

As they were leaving Riddhima notices Vansh.

Riddhima: Vishal you please go ahead I have some work in the shops nearby I’ll go back to the hospital in a cab.

Vishal: ok as you say, and I’ll let you know the details about how my proposal next week.

Riddhima: I am positive Ayesha will say yes.

Vishal leaves and Vansh feels a hand pulling him aside.

Riddhima: Mr Vansh Raisinghania what the hell are you doing here. Were you following me?

Vansh: Look Riddhima you are misunderstanding me.

Riddhima: Really Vansh? Misunderstanding you I saw you sitting at the table and listening into our conversation so don’t even think of making any excuses.

Vansh: ok fine I am sorry I was insecure about Vishal. I know it’s my bad I shouldn’t have been this way. I have faith in you, but I am jealous, and I understand it’s wrong on my part.

Riddhima: Vansh I don’t have to discuss my personal life with you so please don’t expect that after your emotional drama I am going to open my heart to you. Like I said before as well, Vishal is none of your business.

Riddhima leaves, with a dejected Vansh following her to his car. He drops her off to the hospital.

Riddhima: I am going to be late please be home when the kids come from school.

Vansh: ok, Riddhima please give me a chance.

Riddhima: Vansh please it’s hard for me to just forget everything and move on. Vansh I gave birth to your kids their habits, their faces, their personality everything is similar to you. I see you in Shovan and Shaina every day. Even if I tried, I could not forget you the kids always reminded me of you. You can’t just come and make everything normal in a few days.

Few days go by:

With Vansh trying to woo Riddhima and in the process has built a strong relationship with the kids. Riddhima does not accept in front of Vansh but she has started developing a soft corner for Vansh again.

In a cafe:

Vansh had arrived with his clients to finalise a deal. He completes his meeting and was about to leave when he sees Vishal entering with Ayesha. He is shocked and angry that Vishal is cheating on Riddhima. Of course, he didn’t know that they were just friends. Though he loves Riddhima he wants her happiness and if it were with Vishal, he would grow to accept it but never like him after all he stole his Riddhima. But to his surprise he saw him with another girl.

Vansh (thinks): I need to bring Riddhima here if this is true then she needs to know before he breaks her heart. I have already done that, can’t let her get broken again.

He drives off and drags Riddhima to the restaurant.

Riddhima: What the hell Vansh you dragged me out of an important meeting.

Vansh: Riddhima that meeting can wait this can’t.

He takes her inside and shows Vishal and Ayesha’s date.

Riddhima: Are you crazy Vansh why are we gate crashing their date. It’s very embarrassing please let’s go.

They get home. Riddhima goes to her room, Vansh follows her.

Riddhima: Vansh this is my room leave!

Vansh: I am not done, and you can’t walk away like this.

Riddhima: what do you want to know?

Vansh: How can you not react to Vishal dating another woman behind your back.

Riddhima: First of all, she is his girlfriend I am just Vishal’s friend. We were never romantically involved.

Vansh: So, you are not dating him?

Riddhima: Oh god no! (she keeps going on about how Vansh hurt her).

Vansh tried intervening but to no avail it was impossible to shut her up. Finding no other appropriate way, he closes the gap between them and pulls her into a lip lock; while Riddhima was taken aback by the sudden developments.

Vansh (breaking away): Sorry I didn’t see any other way to stop you. You were just talking non-stop.

Riddhima didn’t know how to react so just goes to her washroom to change meanwhile Vansh takes this as a que to leave and goes to his room.

Precap: Vansh plans a date for Riddhima. Riddhima finally gives in to her feelings and forgives Vansh. Riddhima and Vansh have a heartfelt reunion. The kids prank Vansh and Riddhima enjoys his plight. Vansh and Vishal bond.

This is it for today guys. Please do leave your comments and feedback. I am planning on ending this ff soon, but I want to show a proper conclusion to Tanya and other characters in the story. So, I’ll take the remaining 7 episodes so do that. I still have Pragati and Shivam and Vishal and Ayesha to conclude and Tanya’s character needs to find a shore right now she is just stuck in the middle with Vansh abandoning her.
