Some shows just don’t survive the brutal competition and end up losing their life. Yes, show Sufiyana Pyaar Mera which got off to a great start but soon witnessed a dip in the TRPs, is facing something similar. The makers did everything to revive back the interest of the viewers but the show just didn’t get the expected numbers.
Udaan actor Vijayendra Kumeria was roped in to spice up the story but all in vain. Now the makers have decided that they will shelve the show. As per the reports of a leading entertainment portal, lead actress Helly Shah confirmed the news saying,“Yes, we were informed yesterday itself. We feel bad, but the show must go on. I am happy that a show like Sufiyana Pyaar Mera came my way. It was challenging for me to play a double role, but it gave me a different experience and exposure.”
Helly Shah was essaying the role of both Kayanat and Sultanat on the show and was praised for her acting finesse. Her role too was changed with time and an antagonist was introduced. But well, there seems to be no miracles in store for Sufiyana Pyaar Mera.
