The Episode starts with the Corrupt officer insisting to check Rishi’s bag. He takes the bag, and takes out money from it. Suman faces a new crisis. The corrupt police officer asks her to come out, and recalls secretly planted illegal money in Rishi’s school bag, setting a trap for her. Suman comes out of the car, the corrupt Police harass her and accuses her of a crime she didn’t commit. Suman says she doesn’t know from where the money came from. The officer continues to intimidate her to arrest her. Just then, Teerth arrives there demanding that the officers release them since Suman is innocent. Suman completely misinterprets his intentions. She assumes Teerth is behind the whole conspiracy and, without a second thought, slaps him. Refusing to listen to anything he has to say, she accuses him of betrayal and manipulation, shutting him out even as he desperately tries to explain. The Police take Suman and Rishi in their custody. The media arrives at the scene, broadcasting the scandal to the public. Akhil is shocked and Teerth, how did the reporters find out so quickly? Teerth quickly realizes the truth and tells that Devika was the one who tipped them off.
At home, the Mittal family watches the news in shock. Devika acts to feel pity on her, and tells Gitanjali that she is not prisoner atleast, if not dutiful bahu. Chandrakant asks her to leave Suman. Gitanjali immediately understands that Devika orchestrated the entire trap. She pleads with Devika desperate to save Suman, and says our house heir is with her. Devika remains unmoved and says she will set off Rishi. Reva is enraged after uncovering her mother’s cruel plan, lashes out at her, warning that Rishi is her brother. Devika warns Reva to stay in her place, otherwise, she will make Suman and her son’s punishment even more worse. Reva says I hate you. Devika says but I love you being your mother, happy hate. She says she is going to the PS to introduce Suman and her son to Police. Gitanjali breaks down in tears.
At the police station, the harassment continues. Suman and Rishi are forcibly separated, despite Rishi’s asthma worsening. He cries out for Suman, but his pleas are ignored. Suman begs the officers to let her son go. Inspector says they need to enquire as 50 lakhs are recovered. She sees his condition deteriorating and tells that she has the right to make a call. She calls someone and says she is in the PS. The lady Police officer begins the interrogation. Suman tells them the truth, but they pretend not to believe her, pushing her further into despair. Teerth determined to help, tries to enter the police station, but Devika warns him to stay out of it. Suman insists she can provide proof of her innocence and pleads with them to release Rishi, emphasizing that he is unwell.
Teerth is about to call CM. Devika says CM wants to trap Suman. Teerth refuses to back off despite her threats. He is no longer afraid of her. Defying her orders, he steps inside for Suman and Rishi, determined to protect them. Suman asks Police to let Rishi go. Teerth tries to reach Rishi, but the Police the block his way, refusing to let him near the boy.
Meanwhile, Suman panics as Rishi’s condition worsens. She watches in horror as he begins to lose consciousness. She asks where is the buddy and realizes it is in the car. She asks the Lady Inspector to let her bring his inhaler, but she asks him to answer from where 50 lakhs came. Teerth runs out and tries to open the car. He sees the inhaler. Devika smiles. Akhil asks her to do something. Devika asks if he wants today’s slap. Suman struggles to fight for Rishi’s life. Teerth breaks the car’s window, gets inhaler and runs inside to give him inhaler. Rishi smells it and becomes normal. Teerth hugs him. Suman relaxes. Devika asks Police to go out for 2 mins, and says she needs to talk to Suman. They leave. Devika asks her to see what she does with her. Teerth thinks what she is going to do.
