Guru says to Devika that he will not allow Kritika to remain the daughter-in-law of this house after what she did to his daughter. Devika thinks she must make Guru pity her, or her plan will fall apart. She tells Guru that she’s trying to keep the family together, despite the problems coming one after another, and reminds him of what Teerth did to Kritika. Guru comforts her, calling her his “superwoman,” and tells her not to worry.
Chandrakanth and Geetanjali join them, and Chandrakanth says that Devika isn’t just Guru’s superwoman, but also the superwoman of this household. He asks Devika not to take her father’s words to heart, explaining that he spoke in anger and didn’t mean what he said. Devika thanks Chandrakanth for his support and informs him that she made a decision
Meanwhile, Bhoomi notices everyone sleeping and feels the need to confess the truth to Suman—that Rishi didn’t intend to commit suicide, but that she accidentally handed him the gasoline bottle instead of the liquid one. She sneaks into Suman’s room, but Gulshan intercepts her and takes her outside.
Gulshan confronts Bhoomi, asking if she’s gone mad for trying to tell Suman the truth. He warns her that once Suman learns the truth, the Mittal family will kick her out, Bhoomi will go to jail, Hema will die from the shock, and Malini will be left begging on the streets. Bhoomi questions why Gulshan is helping her when he has always wanted to destroy their family. Gulshan replies that no one kills a golden goose and suggests she follow his instructions if she doesn’t want him to reveal what happened.
Geetanjali expresses concern to Chandrakanth, saying that Kritika’s presence is harmful to Suman and Teerth’s relationship. Devika agrees, admitting that it was a mistake not to consider this earlier. She decides to ask Kritika to leave the house immediately, but then pretends to be ill. Chandrakanth falls for the act and scolds Geetanjali, insisting that Kritika will stay. Devika later speaks with her family, emphasizing that Suman must come to their house the next day, as it’s an important day for Teerth. She convinces Teerth’s family to allow Suman to visit, assuring them that she’ll handle everything.
Suman then catches Gulshan holding Bhoomi’s hand and furiously confronts him, demanding how he dares to touch Bhoomi. She grabs a sickle and holds it to Gulshan’s throat, warning him that if he thinks he can pursue the women of the house now that Rishi is dead, he’s mistaken. Gulshan insists it’s a misunderstanding, and Bhoomi supports him, saying that Gulshan has changed and is now there to help their family. Suman remains distrustful of Gulshan and his mother, dragging Bhoomi away. Gulshan, however, is pleased that Bhoomi hasn’t told Suman the truth and feels confident he can now execute his plan.
Later, Suman and Bhoomi go to bed.
Devika calls Hema to console her and persuades her to send Suman to the Mittal mansion for the rituals, to which Hema agrees.
Devika then massages Geetanjali’s legs, but Geetanjali tells her to stop the act, saying no one is watching. Devika responds that she’s not acting but repenting for her sins. She worries that God is punishing Kritika for her wrongdoings and fears that something bad may happen to Reva as well. Geetanjali reassures her that Reva will be fine. However, Devika subtly manipulates Geetanjali, suggesting that Suman will eventually tear the family apart.
