The episode starts with Suman feeling shocked after finding a file with divorce papers in Chandrakant’s locker. She learns that Teerth plans to divorce her in six months. Devika peeps in and rejoices seeing the drama unfolding. She notices Chandrakant returning home and fills his ears against Suman. Upon seeing the divorce file in Suman’s hands, Chandrakant erupts in anger, accusing her of being a thief from a poor family. Suman defends herself, revealing that Akhil had the audacity to steal the file from his father’s safe and she had only just discovered it. She confronts Teerth about the divorce, but he remains silent. Her heartbreak deepens as she realizes that even Geetanjali conspired with Teerth to keep her in the dark. Overwhelmed with betrayal, Suman severs all ties with Geetanjali.
Chandrakant warns her to behave with Geetanjali. Suman confides that by signing the divorce papers, Teerth has already broken their relationship. Despite enduring all his mistreatment with patience, Suman has received nothing but hatred and humiliation in return. She is appalled that Chandrakant allowed Teerth to enter this contractual marriage, reducing it to a cruel game with his son and daughter-in-law. Suman lashes out at the entire family for their hypocrisy. She had hoped Akhil would become like a brother Rishi to her, which led her to forgive his past disrespect and humiliation. Learning of the family’s conspiracy leaves Suman feeling utterly betrayed. Still, Suman acknowledges Devika’s role in exposing the truth. Although Devika may have acted out of selfish motives, her actions inadvertently brought the truth to light. For the first time, even a wrong act led to the right outcome. Suman bitterly appreciates Devika’s relentless efforts, even if fueled by enmity.
Suman clings to a sliver of hope and asks Teerth one final time to express his true feelings, but his silence speaks volumes. All she wanted was honesty, not to feel like a burden. His silence and actions have shattered all her trust. Suman confesses her genuine love and respect for Teerth and his family, feelings that were unwavering and true. She signs divorce papers and announces that her relationship with Teerth has ended today. She announces that she is free to leave his house and would never forgive his family for what they did. Teerth runs behind her pleading to listen to her. Devika smirks seeing this.
