Sumbul Touqeer recently found herself at the center of media attention following reports that she had a nighttime rendezvous with her former Imlie co-star, Fahmaan Khan. As the story gained traction, Sumbul quickly dismissed the rumors, labeling them as unfounded.
The buzz began when speculation arose about an alleged meeting between Sumbul and Fahmaan in Bandra. Reacting to a video that fueled the gossip, Sumbul’s exasperated response, “Itna Jhoot? Sirf views ke liye?… Sirf views ke liye?… shame on you people?”, underscored her disbelief and frustration over the baseless allegations.
On the set of their show Imlie, Fahmaan and Sumbul shared a close friendship. However, their relationship hit a rough patch after Sumbul’s eviction from Bigg Boss 16. Fahmaan disclosed that Sumbul felt let down by his perceived lack of support during her time on the reality show, leading to friction between her and her family.
As a result, Sumbul opted out of a planned music project with Fahmaan and his friend Tabish. In an effort to mend their friendship, Fahmaan extended Eid greetings to Sumbul and her family, but his calls and messages went unanswered. Sumbul chose not to address the controversy in detail, simply wishing Fahmaan well in his endeavors.
