Sumona Chakravarti, who has been part of The Kapil Sharma Show since the first day has been in the news for the rumors of her quitting the show. The actress was rumored to quit the show for her travel-based series, Shonar Bengal.
While the actress is thrilled about her new project, during a recent interview she clarified that she is not quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. Sumona revealed that Shonar Bengal is just a month-long commitment and added that she chose to do it as she is a Bengali who loves to travel.
Sumona shared that the show has given her an opportunity to explore the history of Bengal which she hasn’t had the chance to experience.
Talking about The Kapil Sharma Show, there were reports about Sumona quitting the show last year as well. Sumona is playing Bhoori on the show and is currently seen as the owner of a hotel.
