The scene starts with a boy taking a selfie, while sitting on a couch. A girl walks in the room and teases him saying “Stop thinking that you are so handsome, that every girl will fall for.” He switched off his phone, got up from the couch and started walking towards her. She asks “what are you doing? ” “I am giving you the punishment you deserve” he said while giving her a evil smile.
He came closer to her and tickled her, he smiled looking at her laughing face. She pushed him away and started to run away. She kept laughing, he loved seeing her laughing. “Avni, why don’t you always laugh like that, you looks so beautiful” he said winking. “Neil, don’t flirt with me” she said, he could see her blushing. Avni saw that Neil could see her blushing.
Neil was going to come more closer but his phone rang
Avni goes into the kitchen to prepare coffee.
Neil turns his phone off and sits down to read a magazine, he secretly spies on Avni.
3 minutes later, Avni comes in and gives him his coffee. “It’s a surprise, that you know how to make coffee” he laughed. “Neil, please stop teasing me” she said.
Avni sat down beside Neil holding his hand.
Avni: Neil, I wanted to tell you this for months now, I never had the guts to say it.
Neil smiled thinking that she was going to say ‘I love you’ to him.
Neil: Yeah sure Avni, go ahead.
Avni: Rhea wanted to take you to our school prom. Your the only boy that she knows, if you don’t go, she will be very embarrassed. She’s been telling me to tell you this for
months.
Neil was surprised
Neil: Oh Avni, I can go with her, but who will be your partner?
Avni: My partner is Justin, remember you met him last year at holi?
Neil got sad, that he couldn’t be with Avni.
Neil: Avni, I wanted to be with you
Avni: What did you say?
Neil was about to repeat his words, but someone had opened the door. It was Neil’s parents. Avni let go off Neil’s hand.
His mother Shweta and his father Prakash sat next to them.
Shweta: I have good news for you, congratulations Tillu you are getting married next week. We even talked to Pandit ji, that if he could make it next month or next year, he said next week is the only lucky week in your whole life to get married.
Neil got shocked, he felt that this world was falling apart. He looked at Avni and thought about the time he had spent with her. He wanted to cry, but didn’t want to show it, since his parents were there. He only wanted to be with his SUNSHINE.
Avni felt something prickling in her heart, it was like she didn’t want to him to go away. She wanted to keep him to herself but she didn’t realized this yet. Her heart beated for him only, but she didn’t exactly knew if she loved him or not.
Neil smiled and said: I don’t have any problems with this.
He lied. Avni could tell by his expression that he was lying.
Neil: Maa, I have a meeting with my manager, also I need to drop Avni home. Avni let’s go.
Avni took his parents blessings and followed Neil.

Avni: You can fool the world, but you can never fool me. I know what you feel. I know when you are sad or happy. You lied right? You don’t want this marriage to happen.
Neil: You are right but it doesn’t matter now. This is arrange marriage, maybe I will fall for the person after I get married to her. I don’t want this to happen, but I can’t do anything.
Neil stopped the car, next to a flower shop
Neil: Avni, you stay here I’ll come back.
Neil left
Avni noticed that there was a yellow notebook near her feet, she picked it up and the on the book it was written ‘My SUNSHINE.’
Avni opened the book and she got shocked reading the first page.

Whenever I think of her, I get all weird and crazy inside. I love her so much that I can say that she is my everyday SUNSHINE.
She saw that there was also a locket near her legs, she picked it up and was about to open the locket, but she saw that Neil was coming back and she quickly put it back and she threw the notebook where it was.
Avni (thinking): That means Neil loves someone.
Neil sits in his seat.
Avni: Neil, who are these flowers for?
Neil: You, remember I forgot to gift you something on Friendship Day, so there’s your gift. I will also gift you something next week.
Avni: Aww this is so sweet, thanks

Neil started to drive to Avni’s house.

Neil immediately stopped the car and parked it on the side.

Neil was lying down in the bed thinking about his SUNSHINE, he loved her so much, that he would give up his life for her. He could do anything to keep a smile on her face. He didn’t want to marry the girl, that his mother had chosen for him. He only wanted to marry his SUNSHINE.
n talking to her best friend Anita
Avni: He loves someone, he has feelings for someone else.
Anita: Avni, do you love Neil?
Avni: I don’t know.. I mean no
Anita: Look Avni, I promise I won’t let Neil marry that girl
Avni: But why are you doing this?
Anita: Because Neil doesn’t want to marry that girl, he only wants to marry his SUNSHINE. Neil is my friend, I can’t see him sad.
Anita Pov:
The truth is that I cannot see you and Neil in pain. I want you to end up as a pair. I can see the love you have for Neil. I am hundred percent sure that he also loves you. Avni, you are the SUNSHINE that Neil loves.

Neil smiled looking at Avni’s text message. Which said: Do you want to go eat ice cream?
Neil replied: Yes sure, but at 8pm because I have other stuff to do.

Postman comes in and gives a letter to Bebe.
Bebe reads it out

Avni didn’t say anything but hugged Neil tightly, Neil knew her answer. He hugged her back.
It started to rain heavily and Avneil started to cry, (happiness cry) they were just so happy.
“I love you, sweetheart Neil” she said, whispering in his ear.
“I love you too, my SUNSHINE” he said back.
Avneil gently cupped each other’s face and shared a long kiss of happiness.
