Singing reality show Superstar Singers came to an end last night and the winner was a nine year old girl Prity Bhattacharjee hailing from Kolkata. She has been an integral part of the season since it’s beginning and has given countless spectacular performances.
She has everything which is considered in a singing prodigy. She is confident, a marvelous singer and has amazing presence on the stage too. She lifted the trophy yesterday and won the cash prize of Rs. 15 lacks.
In an interview to IANS, Prity said,”I am so happy … I can’t express into words. Now I just want to meet Lataji , Ashaji and Shreya didi and want to touch their feet and seek their blessings. Also, I want to sing a song with Shreya didi.”

Speaking with TimesofIndia.com, the junior superstar revealed her future plans and high aspirations. She confessed she wants to become a playback singer just like Lata Mangeshkar, Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik, and others. When asked who she would want to sing for, she immediately took Deepika’s name. She likes the Padmaavat star the best and wishes to sing for one of her songs in the future.
