Survival Of A Rival (OS)

A beautiful garden in a calm , half rural area .. there is a big rich looking house in the garden. A man is working among the flower bushes .. While he is working, his face expressions shows that his mind is in a turmoil .
Next to that garden, there is a small house, quite old looking but the garden of that house is mind catching. A middle aged man comes out of that house..
Both of these people see each other and gets thinking..
The person who works in the garden thinks ” Ah! Here he came at this hour to make my day bad. He must have seen me from the window and came out to make my day a bad one. If he is selling that house, why can’t he sell it to me ? I am offering double pay too ! Just because we had a fight for the mango tree of them , he’s not able to sell it to me ! I could have given this house to my brother if had bought this. Then our lives would be more completed ..”

The man who came out of the house thinks..
” Here he is ! Stupid old man ! I will never sell this house to you. Because of you , I had to cut down my mango tree and you know nothing about it! All my memories with my dad laid in this place! You are destroying it by my own hands ! Just because of you I’m destroying my dad’s memories! Do anything , I will never let you win by selling this to you ”

Both of them stares at each other angrily and gets back to their work..
Scene ends ..

In that rich looking house, the same man who worked in his garden , gets a call to someone..

” Hey dude., I want you to do something. There is a house for sale next to ours.. The man who is selling it is not selling it to me. I want you to teach him a lesson. But he should not know that I gave you this order…..”

The scene ends.
Next day..
A white hybrid car , comes to that old house.. A man who looks very rich gets down from the car and gets in the house with a person who dressed like a lawyer. He has some papers in his hand..

In that old house..
” I’m Rubel Blake. I’m buying this house. What’s your price for this house?”

The owner looks amazed ..
” 10 Lakhs ..”
“This house doesn’t worth that much . Get your price down to 8 Lakhs..”
” I’m sorry , I am not getting down the price”
” Think well. None will buy this old house. I’m giving you a good offer . It’s your wish to accept it”

The owner of the house thinks for some seconds..
” Alright. 8 Lakhs”
” Done. He’s my lawyer, Mr. George. I’m giving you an advance of 3 lakhs . I will pay the rest when I come here next week . Here’s your money… ”
The owner of the house gets surprised and astonished..
The lawyer says ..
” Please sign here to accept that you had received 3 Lakhs.. ”
” Sure”
The owner signs the papers quickly. He’s extremely happy.
The scene ends.
After 4 days..
Postman comes and puts a letter into the letter box of the old house. The owner goes there quickly and picks it.. He goes in and starts reading the letter..

” Dear sir , please hand over your house to Mr. Rubel Blake who bought your house for 3 Lakhs just 4 days before.. If you do not hand over it by the next 5 days , we might file a complain against you……”

” What! What’s this?!”
He gets ready quickly and goes to the address mentioned in the letter..

” Hey! What’s this letter? You promised me to give the rest of the money next day ! Now what’s this? ”
” I don’t know what you are talking about. I haven’t said anything like that. See , even you have signed this letter . Read it for yourself.”
The letter contains..

” Mr. Norman Hawly, I hereby confirm that , my house which is situated in No.22, North Hills , New Lake is sold to Mr. Rubel Blake, for 3 Lakhs….”

The owner of the house , probably the previous owner , gets completely shocked.
He’s out of words..
The door gets closed..
He goes back home without any hopes ..

” I must ask him ”
He goes to his rival in the next house. To the big rich looking house..
” I’m sorry to trouble you. But I want a help from you ..”
“What help ?”
He says the whole story..
” I’m sorry I don’t know any man from that name. So I can’t do anything”
The previous owner of the old house turns back to go . He walks unsteadily ..

The man who is in the big house smiles looking at him..
