Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise has shocked the whole nation. Some people have started a fight with Nepotism and some are mourning. After a lot of media reports claimed a professional rivalry that instigated the actor to take this drastic step, the Mumbai Police started investigating all the point of views. Now every angle related to his suicide is being probed into even after the post mortem report stated death due to hanging.
In their thorough probe, in the last one week the police have recorded statements of friends, colleagues and house help staff and now after taking his creative manager’s statement, the Bandra Police summoned late actor’s one of the closest friends and ex-publicist, Rohini Iyer for interrogation.
According to a report ina leading portal, Iyer was called in for interrogation and she stayed inside the police station for quiet many hours. Rohini was not only Sushant’s ex-publicist, but also a very close friend of the 34-year-old actor and had even penned a lengthy eulogy slamming all those speaking up in a series of strong posts.
The report further stated that one more of Sushant’s close aide was called in for recording his statement but his/her identity has not been disclosed.
In her statement, sources revealed to the tabloid that Iyer spoke about the equation she shared with Sushant on a personal level and her knowledge of the actor’s personal life.
The Police has recorded statements of multiple people including the actor’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
Not just that, the police have also sought Sushant’s contract copies with Yash Raj Films and other production houses in the past. The police have formed three separate teams to investigate the case which is being supervised by the Mumbai Police’s top brass, reported Mumbai Mirror.
Rohini too took to her social media account to express her loss.
