Lalit Modi, the former IPL chairman recently shook the interenet after he shared pictures with Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen and announced that they are in a relationship. Calling Sushmita her betterhalf, he wrote, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families — not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon (sic).”
He later clarified that they aren’t married yet and are dating for now. His tweet read, “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day (sic).” He further added, “finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47 (sic).” His current display picture, too, features Sushmita alongside him.
During a recent interview with BT, Shushmita’s brother and actor Rajeev Sen was asked about it. The actor shared, “I am pleasantly surprised. I will speak to my sister before I say anything. I wasn’t aware of it at all. My sister is yet to confirm this from her end, so, I can’t comment as of now.”
For the unversed, Sushmita was earlier in a relationship with model Rohman Shawl. They ended their relationship of three years in December last year.
