Rahul will be played by Zain Imam!

Everyone was having breakfast.
NK: Babuji?
NK walked to sit with his dad.
Dadaji: Yes NK?
NK: I wanted to ask if you’ve found any matches for Khyati?
Dadaji: I do, but Khyati betaa would you like to meet one?
Khyati smiled: I don’t mind Dadu.
Dadaji: I’m happy to hear that, I’ll call a very good match today?

Nirmala: That sounds good Bauji.
Meghna and Naina were standing next to Khyati.
After breakfast everyone started getting things ready.
It was lunch and he family came to see Khyati.
The parents had the only son, Rahul.
Suman (Mother of Rahul): Khyati is a very smart and beautiful girl, we would be happy to have her as our daughter in law.

Nirmala: Thank you Suman Ji, we also like Rahul.
Ramish(Father of Rahul): Why don’t we let the children talk amongst themselves?

Khyati and Rahul followed Meghna.

Meghna smiled and left.
Rahul: Khyati? Would you be happy marrying me?
Khyati: I don’t see why not, you’re smart and a good son.
Rahul smiled: Is there anyone else in your life?
Khyati: No, is there anyone in yours?

Rahul: Nope, never have been interested in that.
Khyati: Love?
Rahul: No, love before marriage. I don’t see anything wrong with it but I believe in love after marriage. I think the most important thing in a marriage is honesty and commitment.
Khyati: I second your thoughts.

They smiled at each other.
Rahul: So are we both saying yes?
Khyati: I guess we are.
They both walked back into the living area where they saw everyone talking. Meghna and Naina saw the duo walk in.
Meghna walked to them.
Meghna: All well?
Khyati nodded.
Suman: Have you both made a decision?
Rahul looked at Khyati: Yes Mom.
Khyati: It’s a yes from me.
Rahul: Me too.
Every smiled. The fathers and mothers hugged.
Meghna and Naina hugged Khyati.
Everyone was congratulated each other.
Arjun: Congratulations Di!
He hugged Khyati.
Kunal and Karan shook Rahuls hand.
Kunal: Welcome to the family.
Karan: Congratulations.
Khyati hugged her brothers.
The couple took the blessing of the elders.

Naina: I’ll go and get the sweets.
Naina went to the kitchen and Karan followed behind whole everyone else was busy.
Naina picked up the plate and was heading out when Karan bumped into her. She was about to fall when he held her.
Naina: Karan!?
Karan: I just saved you.
Naina: After putting me in danger.
Karan smirked at her.
Naina: What are you smirking at?

Karan: You.
Naina: I need to go and take this outside so…
Karan: So what?
Naina: Let go na?
Karan: Not until I get something sweet.
Naina blushed.
Karan: You look cute when you get all red.
Naina looked at Karan and then gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
Naina: Now can I go?
Karan slowly let Naina go.
Naina smiled and then walked into the living area and then distributed the sweets.
She looked around for Meghna and Kunal.
Arjun: Naina Bhabi, who are you looking for?

Naina: Arjun, I was looking for Di and Jeeju.
Arjun: They went upstairs to check in the twins.
Naina: Oh okay.
Karan came back into the living area.
Kunal and Meghna came down the stairs with the babies.
Dadaji: Are our little not sleepy?
Kunal: No Dadu, we found them standing in their cots talking to one another.
Everyone laughed.

Dadaji took Maahir and sat with him.
Sandhya got a phone call and attended it and came back.
Sandhya: Bauji, that was he Pandit Ji, he said he would be able to come today and fix the dates.
Ramish: That sounds good.
NK: Yes, Sandhya call him to come.
Sandhya: Yes Bhaisab.
She went and called the Pandit Ji.
A few hours later the Pandit had come and left.
NK: We have 3 weeks till the wedding.
Suman: That gives us a good amount of time to prepare.

Nirmala: Haan, we’ve got a lot of work to do.
Ramish: We should be off then, look forward to seeing you for the engagement.
They bid farewell.

Nirmala sat with her Khyati.
Nirmala: I can’t believe you’ll be leaving me in 3 weeks.
Nirmala was tearing up.
Khyati held her hand: Mom, please don’t cry.
They hugged each other.
Naina and Meghna served everyone tea.
Nirmala: Meghna, Naina, I need you both to sit with me and start writing up all the things we’ll need to buy, do and prepare for.
Meghna: Maa, you don’t worry.
Naina: Me and Di have already prepared the list.
Meghna: We have also planned a social Mother-Daughter day for you both.
Naina: Just to spend with no interruptions and to have some fun.
Nirmala: Thank you girls.
They smiled at Nirmala.

Meghna: Count it as our mothers day gift for you.

NK: Nirmala will be the judge.
Kunal: Yeah, Mom has good taste so obviously she’ll know my present is the best.
Meghna: Yours?
Kunal smiled: Ours!
Meghna: That’s right!
Dadaji: Okay guys it’s getting late, let’s head to bed.

Kunal and Meghna were in their room, sitting on the bed. Kunal was typing some things in the laptop and then turned it off. Meghna was folding the twins clothes and Kunal joined her.
Meghna was putting the clothes away in silence, she sat back in the bed and Kunal held her hand.
Kunal: Meghna, you’re really hot. Other than your looks I mean, you’re boiling up.
Kunal touched Meghnas forehead.
Meghna: Kunal, I’m fine.
Kunal: No you’re not.

Kunal got up and then got a damp cloth and put it on Meghnas forehead.
Kunal: You keep that there, I’ll come back up with some lemsip.
Meghna held Kunals hand as he was leaving.
Meghna: Kunal.
Kunal looked back.
Meghna: Don’t leave me alone.
Kunal: Meghna, I will only be to minutes. I promise.
Kunal went and quick came back. Meghna took her medicine.
Kunal pulled the duvet over her and then sat by her side dampening the cloth every 30 minutes.

Saturday morning everyone was making their way to the dinner table to breakfast.
NK didn’t see Kunal or Meghna.
NK: Where are Kunal and Badi Bahu?
Nirmala: Meghna didn’t come down yet.
Naina: I’ll go check.
Karan: Naina, you stay, I’ll check.
Karan went upstairs and knocked on the door.
Kunal: Come in.
Karan saw Meghna was still sleeping while Kunal was changing the babies.
Kunal: Hey Karan.
Karan: Good Morning Bhai, is everything okay?

Kunal: Meghna isn’t feeling well, she had a temperature yesterday night and it hasn’t gotten down yet. I’ve called the doctor, she’ll be here soon. I’ve bathed the babies and now changing their clothes, I was going to bring them down and then shower up and get breakfast for Meghna.
Karan: Woah. Bhai, you go and shower, I’ll change the babies and take them down.
Kunal: I’m almost done.
Karan: Bhai…
Kunal: Done!
Karan smiled and then took the babies.
Karan: You come down quick.
Kunal: Thank Karan.
Karan: No problem.

Karan walked down with the babies.
Khyati: Where is Bhabi?
Karan explained the situation.
Naina: I’ll check on Di.
Kunal came downstairs.
Arjun: Is Bhabi okay?
Kunal: Her temperature is still a little high.
Naina: Can I go and sit with her?
Kunal: Have you had your breakfast?
Naina: I have.
Kunal: Okay then, you can go.
Naina went upstairs and saw Meghna lying down.
Meghna woke up 5 minutes later.
Meghna: Kunal?
Naina: Di it’s me.

Meghna sat up on her bed.
Meghna: Chiku, you should be here, I’m not well.
Naina: Nonsense Di, you’d always hang around when I was ill.
Meghna: Chiku.
Naina: Di.
Meghan smiled.
Naina: Jeeju is getting your breakfast.
Meghna: Has he had anything yet.
Kunal walked in: Yes he has.
Kunal put the tray in front of Meghna.
Meghna: Thank you.
Kunal: Don’t be silly, now eat.

Meghna: I’ll freshen up quickly.
Kunal helped Meghna up to the bathroom.
After eating the doctor came and check Meghna and said she just had a fever and it was nothing to worry about. She prescribed her some medicine. Everyone was in the room.
Meghna: You’ll need to keep the twins away from me because I don’t want them to get ill.
Khyati: They can stay on my room.
Meghna: Are you sure?
Khyati: Only one night right?
Kunal: Yeah.
Khyati: Then that’s fine.
Meghna: Thank you.
Khyati just smiled at Meghna.

Meghna: I can’t believe I had to fall ill now, there’s so much to do for the wedding and…
Nirmala: Meghna, stop worrying about that.
Sandhya: We’re here to take care of things.
Nirmala: Just focus on getting better okay.
Meghna: I will Maa.
Dadaji: Let’s leave Badi Bahu to rest for now.
NK: Yeah, let’s go.
Everyone left them room.
Arjun: Get well soon Bhabi.

Meghna: Thank you Arjun.
Karan: Give us a shout if you need anything.
Meghna smiled: I will.
Everyone was out of the room.
Kunal was getting up but Meghna held him. He sat next to her and Meghna held te hand that he’d hurt.
Meghna: You change your bandage.
Kunal: I knew you’d shout at me if I hadn’t.
Meghna smiled.
Kunal: You rest for a while okay?
Meghna nodded and then closed her eyes.

Naina was working downstairs and then Karan came in to the kitchen.
Karan: Naina, you remember our plan for tomorrow right?
Naina smiled: Of course I do.
Karan hugged Naina from behind.
Naina: Karan, someone will walk in. Let go.
Karan: So what if hey walk in? I have the right to hug my wife.
Naina smiled and just then Arjun walked in and Karan just let go of Naina and Naina bursted out laughing.
Arjun was confused: Is everything okay Bhabi?
Naina closed her eyes and was still laughing and just nodded her head yes.
Naina: Oh Arjun!
Arjun: Oh Bhabi?
Still confused.

Arjun: I’ll leave you two to it.
Arjun left the kitchen.
Karan: Why are you laughing?
Naina: You know why.
Karan was scratching the back of his head.
Naina: Oh Karan, you’re so funny.
Karan held Naina by the waist and pulled her towards him.
Naina: What… what are you doing?
Karan: Being serious cause I’m so funny.

Naina: Karan.
Karan: Naina.
Karan kissed Naina on the cheek and left a blushing Naina in the kitchen.
Naina: My sweet and funny man.
She said to herself.
