Part 75:
In this chapter I’m bringing back some old characters.
Rohan- played by Karan Kundra.
Surbhi- played by Kritika Kamra.
Yuvraj- played by Karan Tacker.
Radika- played by Gauhar Khan.
Sadna- played by Nia Sharma.
Also a new character: Aman will be played by Laksh Lalwani.
They all had dinner and the Rathore family went home after they finished eating.
Kunal and Meghna were in their room, they out the babies to sleep and sat together.
Kunal: We’ve got a week to plan the birthday party.
Meghna: Let’s get to it then!
Meghnna gets up to go but Kunal hold her hand and pulls her close to him.
Kunal: Why don’t we sit here for a little longer?
Meghna draws herself closer to Kunals face and then smiles.
Meghna: How about not?
She flicks his nose with her index finger.
Meghna pulls away and then goes to get her book out of the drawer. Kunal smirks and watches her.
Meghna comes back to the bed and sits in front of Kunal. They’re both sitting with their legs crossed and face to face. Meghna was talking and giving all the ideas she had. Kunal was just watching her talk. In slow motion her hair was blowing away and she was talking and laughing, she spoke about her parties when she was younger the silly gifts people gave her and how she kept them all because she’s sentimental. Kunal just sat there watching her talk with his two hands on his cheeks (What you do when you’re da dreaming.)
Meghan noticed that Kunal was just look and not responding, she clicked her fingers in front of his face to snap him out of his thoughts.
Meghna: What are you lost?
Kunal: In your beauty.
Meghna laughed: You’re so silly! Did you even listen to anything to what I was saying?
Kunal: Everyone word, your bad gifts that you kept, the cake you and Maa always made together for Nainas birthday and how the last birthday you celebrated with Vaibhu you made goody bags.
Meghna: You were listening?
Kunal: Of course, also I was thinking we need to invite everyone.
Meghan gave Kuanl the book and pen.
Meghna: You make the guest list then.
Kunal smiled: Sure.
There was a knock on the door.
Meghna opened it and then saw Karan, Naina and Arjun.
Meghna: Come in guys.
Kunal: What do you lot want?
Naina: Aree Jeeju, I thought you’d be happy to see us.
She said and sat next to her Jeeju.
Kunal smiled: Always happy to see you my one and only Saali, it’s those two.
He threw a cushion at Karan and Arjun
Arjun: You’re so kind Bhai (!)
Karan: What are you guys doing?
Meghna: Planning the twins birthday.
Naina: Oh! Sounds so fun.
Arjun: Can we help?
Meghna: Of course.
They all sat together and continued planning things, they spoke softly and made sure their fun was kept at a low volume so the babies could sleep.
Arjun: So when do we hand out the invitations?
Kunal: Karan and Naina can hand them out and you can be in charge of the food.
Karan: I want to be in charge of the food.
Kunal: If I put you in charge of the food there won’t be any for the party.
Karan rolled his eyes whilst the rest laughed.
Karan: Whatever, but tomorrow after work I’m taking Naina put.
Meghna: Oh, anywhere special?
Karan: Just to the cinema.
Kunal: Alright then, I’ll go hand the invitations out.
Naina: Don’t worry Jeeju, me and Karan will do it before we go and then there’s always the day after tomorrow.
Karan: Yeah Bhai, don’t worry.
Kunal: Thanks, me and Meghna will get the decorations ready.
Meghna: Awesome.
Karan: We’ll pick everyone up from Boondi on Friday.
Kunal: Yeah, we’ll go early morning.
Arjun: Bhabi, what will the twins wear?
Naina: Di, can I chose their outfits if you haven’t yet?
Meghan: Of course Chiku. Now guys, it’s getting late and we’ve all got work and school in the morning and I don’t want anyone to be late.
Karan: Yes Mom (!)
Arjun: Why were you looking at me when you said that Bhabi?
Kunal: Come on, who else is always sleeping in after their alarm?
Arjun scratched his head: True.
They all said Goodnight to each other and then to sleep.
The next day, after work Karan and Naina went to the cinema just like Karan had planned. They were taking a stroll near the park when they saw a couple with their baby.
Karan: They look so happy.
Naina: The baby is so cute.
Karan: I guess children do bring a new sense and feeling to people.
Naina: They do.
Naina held onto Karans arm and they walked on.
Karan: The twins are turning 1, what do we get them?
Naina: I actually don’t know, they’re only babies.
Karan laughed: We’ll think of something.
Naina: Yeah, we have till Saturday.
They walked for a little longer in silence, just admiring each others presence.
Naina: Dadu wants us to have a baby.
Karan: He does?
Naina: Yeah.
Karan: What do you want?
Naina: I think I want one too.
Karan: Maybe it’s time for us to be parents.
Naina: I think so too.
She said smiling so bright.
Karan kissed her.
Naina: Karan…not here!
Karan laughed.
It was the twins birthday, the guests had arrived and everyone was in the living area enjoying the party.

Rohan and Surbhi head attended with little Ayush. Ayush ran to hug his Kuanl and Meghna.
Kunal: Hey there!
Meghna: How have you been Ayush?
Ayush: I miss you both.
Rohan: He really has, since he started going to school and getting homework he’s been complaining almost everyday.
Surbhi: He’s doing well though.
Kunal: It’s good seeing you both again.
Rohan: Same, we heard about the… are you okay?
Kunal: I’m doing very well.
Surbhi held Meghnas hand.
Surbhi: How have you been?
Meghna: Things are finally good and I’m so happy.
Surbhi: Talking about happy, we’ve got good news.
Rohan: We’re having a baby.
Kunal: For real?
Meghna: OMG! I’m so excited!
Rohan shook Kunals hand and hugged him.
Surbhi hugged Meghna.
Kunal: Congratulations to the both of you.
Surbhi: Thank you.
Rohan: Surbhi has been very nervous.
Surbhi: But I have Meghna, she’ll guide me. Right?
Meghna: Of course I will. This is so exciting!
Karan and Naina joined the group.
Karan: What’s exciting?
Kunal explained and they congratulated the couple.
Yuvraj and Radika walked, Meghna saw them and saw Radikas stomach.
Meghna: Radika?!
Radika nodded: Yes.
Meghna: Everyone’s having babies!
They all congratulated each other.
Yuvraj: She’s 5 months in.
Radika: I wanted to tell you over the phone but wanted to surprise you.
Naina: Di a very surprised.
Radika laughed: Your Di gets happy and excited very easily now.
They all talk and catch up.
Naina goes to the table where she fixes the presents everyone brought with them and feels a pair of hands cover her eyes.
Man: Guess who?
Naina: Aman?!
Aman: How did you guess!
He let her go and Naina tuned around and hugged him.
Karan saw from a distance and then Kunal and Meghna stood with him.
Kunal placed an arm on Karans shoulder: Yaar, what do we have here?
Karan: I have no idea.
They watched Naina and Aman talk and laugh.
Karan: Should I be worried.
Meghna smacked Kunals arm off of Karans shoulder.
Meghna: Karan, why don’t we go and talk to our guest.
Kunal: Yeah, then you’ll find out if he’s trying to steal your wife.
Meghna: Kunal!
The trio walk to Naina and Aman.
Aman looks at Meghna.
Meghna: Aman where is my hug?
Aman: Right here.
Aman hugged Meghna.
Karan smirked as he saw Kunal.
Karan: Maybe he’s after Bhabi.
Aman: I’ve missed you Meghu Di.
Kunal smirked back: I don’t think so.
Meghna: You could’ve just picked up the phone!
Aman: Well I’ve been busy.
Naina: Yeah, no time for me either.
Aman: Forgive me!
He said while holding his ears.
Naina: I forgive you.
Aman: Meghu Di, aren’t you going to introduce…
Meghna: Yes, this your Kunal Jeeju, my husband and Kunal this is Aman, Nainas friend from college.
Kunal: Nice to meet you Aman.
Aman: You too Jeeju, I’ve heard a lot of things about you.
Kunal: I hope good things.
Aman laughed: Only good things.
Meghna: And this Karan, my Devar and…
Naina: And my husband.
Aman: Finally I met the infamous Karan!
Karan shook Amans hand.
Aman: Naina would always talk about you while we were in college.
Karan smiled.
Naina: Aman!
Aman: What Aman? I’m going to tell Karan everything.
Karan: I would love to hear all about it.
Kunal: Did you come by yourself?
Aman: I came with Sadna, Unvke and Auntie. Uncle and Auntie have sat with Sharda Auntie while Sadna is busy with Vishal Bhai.
Karan: Of course she is.
Meghna: Love birds.
Naina: Really?
Kunal: Yeah!
Meghna explained how they found out.
Naina: Wow! We should set them up.
They all looked over to Vishal and Sadna.
Kunal: I think they’ve set themselves up.
They all laugehd.
Meghna: Let’s go and bug them.
Naina: Let’s!
They walked to Vishal and Sadna.
Meghna: Hi Sadna.
Sadna: Meghna Di, hi!
Naina: I’m you’re best friend and you didn’t say hi to me, you’re here with Vishal Bhai.
Sadna: Actually…I…
Aman: You actually what?
Sadna: Woh..
Sadna started blushing.
Vishal: I should go.
Kunal: Aree…
Kunal held Vishal and pulled him back.
Kunal: Where are you going?
Vishal: Woh…
Karan: They’ve started speaking like each other.
Sadna blushed away and hugged Meghna.
Meghna: Okay guys, leave my Sadna alone.
Naina went to her friend and hugged her.
Naina: I’m happy for you Sadna.
Sadna: Thank you Naina!
Karan: Congratulations Vishal Bhai!
Aman: So when’s the wedding?
Naina: I’ll talk to Badi Mami and Bade Mamu about it.
Karan: Why you?
Naina: Because Sadna is my best friend and Vishal Bhaiya is my Bhaiya!
Meghna: That sounds good to me.
A man’s stomach rumbled.
Kunal: Someone needs food.
Aman: A lot of food.
Kunal: Come on, I’ll take you to the food.
Aman: My favourite Jeeju.
Meghna: Your only Jeeju.
