OMG I’M SO BAD! I’M REALLY FOR LEAVING YOU ALL HANGING!
Just need to tell you guys that I’d never leave this story incomplete, I’ve been very lazy and haven’t been writing a lot. I do have an ending and will be writing it up! They drove to the hospital and walked in.
Karan: Let’s try the reception
Kunal: Well done sherlock(!)
Aman: Who wants to talk?
Kunal: I guess I’ll do the talking.
Aman: Okay.
They walked to the desk and saw a woman sat there.
Receptionist: Hi, how can I help?
Kunal: Hi, we’re looking for Sanjana…
Aman: Tiwari. Sanjana Tiwari.
The receptionist was surprised.
Receptionist: How do you know her?
Kunal: She’s his girlfriend.
Kunal said pointing at Aman.
Kunal: They were together around 7 years ago and she got into an accident. Everyone thought she had passed but recently someone contacted Aman.
Aman: Me.
Kunal: And told us that she was here.
Receptionist: How do I know of you’re not lying.
Kunal: What do you mean?
Receptionist: We get guys claiming to know a girl from here all the time.
Aman: It’s not a claim, it’s the truth.
Receptionist: What proof do you have?
Karan: You want proof?
Receptionist: Yes.
Aman: Um…oh I know, I’ve got a picture of us when we first met. It’s in my wallet.
He spoke as he searched for his wallet.
Aman: It’s got a time stamp and everything because Sanju always liked having dates and things on picture so we can remember the time.
He was still looking for his wallet.
Kunal: What’s wrong?
Aman: I think I left my wallet.
Karan: I’ll call someone to come and drop it off.
Kunal: Alright.
Karan stood to one side and called Naina but she didn’t answer, he then called Meghna.
Meghan: Hey Karan, what’s up.
Karan: Thank you for picking up, where’s Naina?
Meghna: She’s feeding the babies.
Karan: Oh, well Aman left his wallet at home and we need it.
Meghna: Okay, I’ll look for it and come and drop it off.
Karan: You’re a star, I’ll text you the address.
Meghna: Of course I am, I’ll see you in a few.
Karan: See you.
They hung up.
Meghna was looking for the wallet and saw it lying in the sofa where Manage was sat she picked it up.
Nirmala: Who’s is that?
Meghna: It’s Amans, they need it so I need to go and drop it off to them.
Nirmala: Oh okay, drive safe okay?
Naina: Let us know when you get there.
Meghna: I will drive safe Maa, and I’ll text you Chiku.
Meghna left.
She drove herself to the address Karan texted her and walked initial the building. She looked around for the guys and saw Kunal waving at her. She walked to him and he walked to her.
Kunal: You were quick.
Meghna: Seemed like an emergency.
Kunal: It is, now that you’re here, you can see what’s going on.
Kunal and Meghna walked to the reception, Kunal explained everything to Meghan as they were walking.
Kunal: Here’s your wallet.
Kunal passed it to Aman.
Aman: Thank you so much Meghu DI.
Meghna: You’re welcome.
Meghna looked at the woman sat at the desk.
Meghna: Pooja?
The woman looked up: Meghna?
Karan: You know each other?
Kunal: Of course they do.
Meghna and elbowed Kunal in the stomach to shut him up.
Kunal: Ouch!
Meghna: Pooja, how have you been?
Pooja smiled: I’ve been good.
Meghna: Guys, this is Pooja, she used to work along with Mumma back in Boondi. Pooja, this is my husband, Kunal.
Kunal: Hey Pooja.
Meghna: My Devar and Nainas husband , Karan.
Karan: Hello.
Meghna: And Nainas best friend and like my little brother, Aman.
Aman: Hi.
Pooja: Hi to you all.
Meghna: Pooja, we really need your help.
Pooja: To do with Sanjana?
Meghna: Yeah, I know Aman is a stranger to you but you trust me right?
Pooja: Of course I do.
Meghna smiled: Okay really happy to here that, you’ll be doing a really big favour for all of us especially Aman and Naina.
Pooja: Naina?
Meghna: Sanjana was best friends with Naina…
Aman: I was also best friends with Naina and that’s how Sanju and I met.
He took out the photo from his wallet and passed it to Pooja.
Pooja smiled looking at the photo: It’s a cute photo.
Karan: Does that mean you’ll help?
Pooja: Of course I will, I just wanted to let you know that I’ll have to make a copy of the file so it could take some time.
Kunal: That’s fine, we can wait here.
Pooja left and the rest took a seat in the waiting area.
Aman: I’m so glad you’re here Meghu Di.
Meghna: I’m glad I’m here too.
Kunal: I guess your links aren’t half as bad.
Meghna: Yeah yeah, it’s good to know other people.
Karan: Do you think we can tell her about Sanjana?
Meghna: As much as I trust her, being part of this hospital she’ll need to act on what we tell her.
Aman: If she acts on what we tell her it’s most likely going to make them take her away.
Karan: We’ll ask her to let us know when Sanjana comes back, make it seem like we want to meet her.
Kunal: That’s a good idea.
A few minutes later they see Pooja make her way to them with a big box.
Kunal: What is in that?
Pooja laughed: All the information about Sanjana.
Karan: All of it?
Kunal: Are you sure you’re not missing anything?
He said with sarcasm.
Pooja laughed again: Nope, it’s all here.
Aman: Thank you so much.
Pooja: It’s the least I can do.
Aman: If you could do one more thing.
Pooja: What would that be?
Aman: If Sanjana shows up I…
Pooja: You’d like to see her? Give me your number and if she does show up then I’ll give you a call.
Aman gave her his number.
Aman: Thank you once again
Aman and Karan lifted the box together and went out of the hospital.
Meghna: It was nice seeing you after all these years.
Pooja: I know, tell your family I said hi.
Meghna: You too. Take care.
They exchanged hugs.
Kunal: Bye.
Pooja: Bye you guys.
Kunal, Karan and Aman drove back home in Kunals car and Meghna drove back in hers.
They got home and saw everyone in the living area apart from NK and Arjun.
Karan and Aman walked in holding the big box while Kunal and Meghna walked in front of them.
Dadaji: What is that?
Kunal: This is what they gave us.
Naina: From the?
Aman: From where Meghu Di and Jeeju found her.
They didn’t want to use the word hospital because they knew Sanjana would freak out.
Karan: I don’t know what kind of information they have accumulated over the last 7 years.
Meghna: Only one way to find out.
Aman: Let’s tear this bad boy open.
They opened the box and found dozens of files.
They all took a file each and went through the them.
Aman: Mine are just some health records.
Kunal: Mine too.
Karan: I’ve got some personal details they gathered from other you know.
Naina: Hospitals?
She said in a whisper.
Karan: Yup.
Naina: Me too.
Nirmala: Looks like she’s been in more than one of them.
Dadaji: I’ve got a file about he daily routine for the last few months.
Sandhya: They kept on a very strict timetable by the looks of it.
Aman: There are more and more of the same type of information but from different places she’d been in
Meghna took another file and looked through it. She was shocked to see what she’d found.
Kunal saw Meghnas face go a little pale, he didn’t draw any attention to it.
Aman wasn’t looking up: Meghu Di, anything new?
Meghna didn’t answer.
Kunal: Yeah she’s got the same thing as us all.
Aman: Well that’s useless then.
Nirmala: Would you like to keep looking?
Dadaji: We might find something useful.
Aman: Maybe Dadu.
Sandhya: Alright then, let’s keep looking.
Meghan looked up at everyone who were going through the papers.
Meghna: I’ll go and get us all some tea.
Nirmala: Thank you Betaa.
Aman: I’ll have a coffee.
Meghna: It’s okay and sure Aman.
Meghna got up slowly and took the file with her and hurried to the kitchen.
She was standing in front of the sink and tears rolled down her eyes. There was a hand on her shoulders.
Meghna: Kunal?
She turned around and saw Kunal standing there and just hugged him.
Kunal: Hey, what’s wrong?
Meghna didn’t say anything.
Kunal let go and cupped Meghnas face, wiped the tears away and put her hair to one side.
Meghna: The file.
Kunal: The one you had?
Meghan nodded: It’s.. it’s about where and how they found her.
Kunal: What?
Meghna: the pictures are so horrible… I can’t show Aman.
Kunal: Oh Meghna.
He hugged her once again.
Karan: Show Aman what Bhabi?
Kunal let go of Meghna and they saw Naina and Karan standing at the door.
Naina and Karan walked over to Meghna and Kunal.
Meghna picked the file up that was behind her and handed it over to Karan.
Naina and Karan read it together.
Naina: This..
Karan: Has all the answer and more.
Naina: It’s what Aman a has been looking for.
Meghna: I know, but look at it.
Kunal: It’ll destroy him.
Naina: It will.
Meghna: But we can’t hide it forever.
Karan: We won’t, we’re going to tell him today. Now.
Naina: Karan?
Karan: There’s no time like the present.
Kunal: He’s right.
Naina: How do we tell him?
Karan: I think it will be best if he hears it from you.
Meghna: You’re his best friend.
Kunal: He’ll want to hear it from you.
Naina: Okay.
Meghna: I’ll take Sanjana out if the room, also we’ll need to tell Papa.
Naina: Alrighty then, we’ll get everyone together and tell them all. What’s the point of hiding it from everyone else.
Kunal: That’s sound good.
Naina had the file in the hand, she looked down at it and the looked at the rest.
Naina: Let’s do this.
Just as they were about to leave Meghna stopped them.
Meghna: Wait guys.
Kunal: What’s wrong?
Meghna: We can’t have Sanjana with us when we tell everyone.
Naina: You’re right.
Karan: One of us should take her into the garden, away from it all.
Meghna: I’ll take her, you guys can handle it right?
Naina: Yeah, we’ll been fine.
Meghna: Great, let’s go.
They all went to the living area, but Kunal went upstairs to NKs room.
Meghna went to Sanjana who was playing on Amans phone.
Meghna: Sanju?
Sanjana: Haan Didi.
Meghna: Do you want to go to the garden with me?
Sanjana: Yes, I want to go.
Meghna: Come on then.
Meghna held Sanjana hand and they went out.
Karan and Naina were standing in front of everyone.
Karan: Where is Arjun?
Sandhya: He should be in his room.
Karan: Okay, I’ll call him
Nirmala: For what?
Naina: We have something to tell you all.
