Swara “Mr. Mehta… Who were your and Mrs. Mehta’s best friends for whom you both were ready to even sacrifice your life?? You didn’t even cared about your daughter to keep your promise…”
Parvati “Shekhar Gadodia and Sharmistha Gadodia…!!”
Ragini and Swara are shocked to the core… Their family!!! Their parents…!! Rohan’s parents were before them!! Aisha’s parents were saving them from Rohan’s parents!!! Why??? Now the SSS look at Gadodia sisters only to find them looking at their parents who are crying recalling their dreadful past with the same questioning expression on their face… What was happening!!! All the incidents were interconnected!!! How ?? And why???
Ragini “Mom Dad???”
They both look at their daughters and nod… SwaRagini are shaken…
Sanskar “Then for whom are Rohan’s parents working?? To whom are they so loyal?? That they even left their son for their loyalty??”
Parvati sighs but then,it was time to face the confrontation and reveal the truth… With much difficulty,she speaks the name…
Parvati “Janki Gadodia!”
The whole SSS together (except SwaRagini) “WHAT!!!!!”
Whereas the Gadodia sisters were standing numb….
They were looking at Parvati with widened eyes… They were unable to believe their ears…
Swara recalls that in the Forest, along with Sujata and Ramprasad, there was a third person… But she was unable to see the face and then they had to run… She felt weird when she saw the third person but swished it off her mind at that time because of Rohan’s condition…. But how is that possible… She is her mother! Who gave her birth… And Ragini,she is Sharmistha’s daughter… Her own sister’s daughter! Ragini’s Masi! Still she attempted to harm her!! Why?? She is the one to have same wand as Ragini! That means the third person was not a victim,but attacker!!! But how is that possible?? She was dead right?? Or she wasn’t??
Ragini recalls that the bar owner was attacked by three people… When Rohan told them about his parents being involved, she guessed the two of them to be his parents… But from that time she was thinking about the third person… Who could it be?? And now when her Dadi took Janki’s name,then she is numb… Her senses have stopped working! Her Masi, Swara’s Mom! Her Mom’s elder sister!! Ramprasad and Sujata works for them!!! That means, Janki is the one who wanted to harm her and Lakshya?? She is the third person with same wand!! This is why her Mom and Dad were worried seeing her with that wand! But what is the secret?? What is the truth??
Parvati was looking all the while in Swara’s and Ragini’s eyes… She read everything in their mind… First time she was able to read Ragini’s mind… Which meant that Ragini was utterly disturbed… But what surprised her was that both the sisters knew about wand connection with Janki!! That means their whole group would be knowing it… These kids were really ahead of her thinking… They were unbelievably fast..!! The one thing she wasn’t able to understand was the attacker and victim thing… When were they attacked apart from Knock-turn alley..?? At Knock-turn alley there was Sujata… Durgaprasad had told her but what was that now?? Even Richard didn’t told her!!
She was the one who sent Richard in front of Ragini when she entered Hecate first time with Sharmistha!! Richard was instructed to befriend Ragini anyhow… She was the one who asked him to help her whenever she needed… She knew that Ragini had entered Annapurna’s cabin one week before orientation,so she instructed her professors to keep a watch on their children… She was amazed when she got the forms..!! She never expected that as soon as Ragini will enter her real world,she would start her work!! She cannot stop her… It’s her destiny… After that,she asked Richard everything and she was amazed… But what was there to be shocked? SwaRagini are her blood… They have inherited that wit From her… She asked Richard to not hide anything from Ragini regarding the intruder… She knew that she will find it out… She was the one who chose the ghosts for Richard’s group today,when they went for mission Tri-Mystery… She was aware of her each and every move… She knew about SwaSan relationship,she knew about RoIsha relationship and now she knows about RagLak relationship… She knew that RagLak are destined to be together… Their destiny have brought them together and for a reason… The prophecy at the time of their birth can only be completed when they will be together… In real sense… But this wasn’t the time to reveal the prophecy,the kids aren’t ready yet… And RagLak need support… And they have it… SwaSan and RoIsha who are there with them no matter what… Inspite of so many odds,they didn’t left each other’s side… She was waiting for the ghosts at the Gadodia Mansion… They didn’t turned up… But Annapurna’s patronous did… And the desperation in her voice indicated that the kids have found out something which will open all the secrets of the past… Till now everything was going fine and smoothly but the mention of this name is inauspicious!! It shook the sisters to the core… Even her name is capable of creating such storms! Don’t know what will happen when they all have to face her for real!!!
Swara “How— How’s— how’s that possible?? Janki Mom?? But,she was dead!! I don’t understand!!”
She stumbles… Sanskar and Ragini hold her from either side… They make her sit…
Ragini “Dadi… Plz… I apologise for all the pranks and mischieves I have done… I promise I will try not to repeat them… But… Plz don’t say such kind of joke… Our hearts stopped beating for 5 seconds!! Di don’t worry… Dadi is joking… She wasn’t serious…”
Swara looks hopefully at Parvati but she has maintained the same serious expression…
Parvati “Look at me Ragu… Do you find any glimpse of joke on my face..??”
Ragini looks at her and realizes that she indeed isn’t joking… She shakes her head and moves back… She strikes with Lakshya… He holds her… She looks at him… Tears are falling down her cheeks… Lakshya wipes them and they talk… Through eyes…
Lakshya “No Ragini… Dont fall weak… You are Ragini Gadodia!! No one can do anything to you without your wish… Now you are permitting your heart to disrupt your mind… You have to support Swara as well… She is in an even bigger dilemma!! Just look at her… It’s about her mother!! Plz be strong!!”
Ragini “How can I be strong?? When I know that my sixth sense never lies! What if what I am thinking comes out to be truth?? What if it’s Janki Masi? What will we do then?? How will I ever face Di?? She is my strength! My support! My backbone! She is my another guide! How can I do wrong to her??”
Lakshya “Ragini, whatever has to happen, will happen… We can’t change that even if we want but we can only act to stop worst from happening… In order to know the past, you have to be strong! For you, Swara, for SSS, for me, for us! You have to be strong… And you will be strong… Will you??”
He forwards his hand… Ragini nods positively and keeps her hand on his… Parvati gets glad seeing them…
There Sanskar also comforts Swara… She is in a trance…
Swara “How is that possible Sanskar?? I remember… I never saw her… For she died immediately after I was born!! I was told that from the beginning… Infact we all were told that!! Then now all this…?? This all happened 13 years ago! That means when I was six year old! That means she was alive!! Then why all this lie?? Why??”
Sanskar (cupping her face) “Swara… Even we don’t know anything… But in order to know,we have to listen what all have to speak… And in order to listen and understand, we have to be in our sane mind… I know it’s easy to say but difficult to do it… I can’t even imagine what you are going through but trust me… I am feeling your pain… Plz control yourself… Look at Ragini… She is also crying… You have been her strength till now… You were determined to protect her… (The faculty look at them startled) If her strength will shatter,then what will happen of her??”
She looks at Ragini who is busy crying and looking at Lakshya… She understands that what Sanskar is doing verbally, Lakshya is doing via telepathy… She understands Sanskar’s words and nods positively… She sees Ragini keeping her hand on Lakshya’s…
SwaSan get up and go to join RagLak… RoIsha also stand beside them… As a team… Together… The faculty are amazed and happy at the same time looking at their unity…
Ragini “Dadi… We want to know everything…”
Swara “Right from the beginning… About Dad,Mom and Janki Mom…”
Parvati nods… Shekhar and Sharmistha worry…
Shekhar “Maa!! No… You can’t tell them!!”
Sharmistha “No Maa!! Plz… We had decided upon it!”
Parvati “For how long will you hide it from them?? They deserve to know this…”
Ragini “And we are old enough to understand the situation… We have to know this… Plz understand Mom and Dad… Have we ever asked you anything?? But now when everything is revealed then why not this??”
Swara “You all never ever discussed about Janki Mom… I also never asked coz I never felt the need… Mom you are my Mom… And you will always be no matter what… Dad, Mom by the situation right now,I have understood one thing that Janki Mom was wrong… But you both never told me a word against her… But truth should come out… Plz… Let Dadi speak…”
Shekhar and Sharmistha dejectedly nod… SSS look at Parvati… Parvati nods…

At the dining assembly,Two girls were really excited for their sisters were going to join them… Two boys were there seated beside them… They were smiling seeing their friends’ excitement…
Shekhar “DP… Look at these two… Seems as if,they are about to explore the chocolate factory…”
Durgaprasad “Speak softly Shekhar… If Anu would hear it,she won’t leave me… But you would be saved! By the way,where is Shashwat?? He was going to rag the Freshers??”
Shekhar laughs and nods… He then looks at a direction… He sees Shashwat standing as a statue staring continuously at someone… He elbows DP and asks him to look at in Shashwat’s direction… He looks and is also surprised…
Durgaprasad “Can you believe it… This guy,is standing silently!!!”
Shekhar “Exactly… I am his best friend from school days,and since then,I have never seen his mouth shut except when he is sleeping… Infact at that time also he opens his mouth and sleeps… Only voice doesn’t comes out…”
DP and Shekhar laugh out loud and do high five…
Annapurna “I heard everything… DP ji, you meet me after the orientation I will tell you… And Shekhar… Instead of laughing at him,you both should go and look out what the matter is… Why is Shashwat standing like that??”
Janki “Exactly… I never saw him quite from the past one year! I don’t know what’s the matter with him… Shekhar,he is your best friend!! You should go to him!!”
Shekhar nods and gets up from there… DP also follows him after gaining glares from his girlfriend, Annapurna…
Janki “Anu, don’t you think we should also see what happened to Shashwat…”
Annapurna “Yeah… You are right… Let’s go… For I have never seen him in this condition…”
They both also follow DP and Shekhar… The four of them reach Shashwat and look at him… They follow his gaze…
He is looking mesmerizingly at a girl who is a fresher… She is Pavitra Shah…
DP calls him out but no response…
Shekhar waves his hand in front of him but he doesn’t care…
Shekhar (waving his hand again) “Hello?????______________ ok… Alright… I have to do this…. (He sees a stone nearby and points her wand at it) Bombarda!!! ”
(**Ironical situation… Ragini had also done the same with Rohan!! Now we knew where she got that mischievous stint from!!!**)
Shashwat gets a jolt… He gets startled!! DP bursts out laughing!!! Annapurna and Janki are busy stuffing their laughs… Shashwat chases Shekhar…
Shashwat “Shekhar Gadodia!!!! Today no one can save you from my wrath!!! You spoiled a special moment!!”
Shekhar (running all over the ground with Shashwat chasing him) “What moment are you talking about Mr. Shashwat Mehta??? We called you out several times but you didn’t paid heed… Even we wanted to know it so I took it upon me to pull you out of your dream world!!!”
He was saying this while turning back and running… Shashwat sees he was about to get bumped into someone… He tries to warn him but fails… Shekhar bumps into someone… She is a girl, another fresher… She stumbles and is about to fall down but Shekhar holds her in his arms…
They both look at each other… Shekhar mesmerizingly while the girl being confused… Shashwat looks at them and smiles seeing their condition…
Girl ” If you are done staring me,am I allowed to leave?? I am late and I have to meet my sister!”
Shekhar comes out of the trance… He is startled by her outspokenness… Janki and others comes there just then… She looks at Shekhar and the girl… She feels uncomfortable but decides to ignore it…
Janki “Sumi!!! Are you ok??”
Shekhar and Sharmistha look at Janki… Shekhar stands properly leaves Sharmistha…
Sharmistha “Di!! Ya… I am… He first bumped into me,then saved me as well…”
Shekhar “I am sorry for that… I was escaping my best friend’s beatings… By the way,I am Shekhar Gadodia… Janki’s friend…”
Sharmistha “Sharmistha Singhal..!! Jaan Di’s younger sister…”
Shaswat comes forward and introduces himself “I am Shashwat Mehta… Janki’s and Shekhar’s friend… He was escaping me… So even I am at fault… Sorry for that..”
Sharmistha “It’s ok… No worries…”
Janki introduces her to DP and Annapurna… They greet each other… Just then another fresher joins them…
Annapurna “Where were you Sujata?? I was looking for you!!”
Sujata “Sorry Jiji… I was also searching you and got late… Finally found you here…”
Annapurna “It’s ok… Everyone,she is Sujata… Sujata Singhaniya… My younger sister…”
They all greet her…
Like this,they all were introduced… Ramprasad was also in Sharmishtha’s and Sujata’s batch… Sharmistha and Pavitra were appointed in same house… They both were the most brilliant students of Athena… Janki, Durgaprasad, Ramprasad and Sujata were in Daedalus, Shekhar in Ponos and Annapurna and Shashwat in Arete…
Durgaprasad was the senior of them all… He was a third year when Sharmishtha joined the college… He fell for Annapurna’s wit and intermittence and after muttering much courage, he proposed her… Janki, Shekhar, Annapurna and Shaswat were in same year… Durgaprasad was a Daedalus Prefect and the best student of the house for two years… Janki, being in his house and of course a muggle, made him her guide and used to stick to him… She wanted to be like him… This is how she met Annapurna… Shaswat was the link between Annapurna and Shekhar… For he was their friend… So they used to stick together always… Sujata always used to stick to her sister even more after she found out that she was dating her house Prefect… Like Durgaprasad was to Janki, Janki was to Ramprasad… Though he was a pure blood,but he was amazed at Janki’s development though being a muggle born… He also used to call her Jaan Di like his fellow mates Sharmistha, Pavitra and Sujata… Being together almost everytime,Ram fell for Sujata and vice versa…
Sharmistha and Pavitra’s like mindedness made them best of friends… Sharmistha used to be with her sister and so Pavitra also joined the group… It was a treat for Shekhar and Shashwat for it was love at first sight for the best friends when these girls joined the college… This is how this group was made… They were the brightest students in their own way…
Everything was going on smoothly… Shaswat had proposed Pavitra at the end on the first year And she willingly accepted because it was his Nth time proposing her… His determined nature won her heart and they were together… Even Shekhar was trying his best to propose Sharmistha… She was actually reciprocating his feelings… After all who wouldn’t fall for his cute lovey dovey acts… Just the confession was needed… But one thing which everyone was unaware of was Janki’s feelings…
She didn’t like how her younger sister was being loved more than her among her friends… How she was always praised for her intelligence and out of the box thoughts… Being the younger daughter,she was pampered a little more by their parents… She thought after they will grow up,they won’t have such things around them but it was… She was preferred here more than her… She can overlook everything but one thing was continuously pricking her heart… Sharmistha’s growing proximity with Shekhar…
Shekhar Gadodia!! The love of her life… She never felt the same way for any other guy,as a muggle or wizard,as a witch… But he,he had another charm… He had an attractive personality,that glueing charm which would draw anyone towards him… On top of that,he was hardworking! One more reason,she used to be with DP was because he used to be with Shekhar as he was Annapurna’s friend… She never revealed her feelings regarding Shekhar to anyone,but now, she was regretting it…
Janki Singhal was mysterious in person… She only used to speak as much as required… She spoke the most with DP as he was her mentor… But now a days,she had two more people… Ramprasad and Sujata…
Janki was someone who would help you going out of the way… And the way Ram and Sujata used to address her and her growing hostility towards her own sister,made her attached to them… Now she used to share her feelings with them… And so they were the only ones who knew Janki’s feelings for Shekhar… They wanted to talk to him from her side but she restricted them Until their final year when she finally agreed to confess her feelings on the last day… Now even if he would reject her,she wouldn’t have to face him…
Three of them were very happy… Janki was happily searching Shekhar on the ground when a sight in front of her made all the three of them freeze…
Shekhar was on his knees in front of a blushing Sharmistha with a rose in his hand while Shaswat, Pavitra and Annapurna were hooting for them… She expected her sister to refuse but she smiled and willingly took the rise accepting his proposal… Her heart broke into million pieces unknowingly by her sister and her love…
This was the beginning of Janki’s personality change… She had decided that she won’t feel bad upon Shekhar’s rejection for she was half aware of his answer but the fact that she will have to face Shekhar and bear him staying happily with her own younger sister was burning her from inside… She was determined to get back Shekhar at any cost!! Ram and Sujata had decided to support her in her every decision…
Annapurna, Shashwat, Shekhar and Janki had graduated from Hecate… Shekhar,in order to stay close to Sharmistha, joined as an intern in the college under then Charms Professor… Shashwat went to join the ministry to persue his dream of becoming an Auror… Durgaprasad was already an intern in the college from the past one year… He did double course of Potion as well as Defence Against Dark Arts… Annapurna also joined the double course… Potions and Transfiguration… Janki,to follow Durgaprasad and stay close to Shekhar also joined as an intern in Defence Against Dark Arts…
The whole year,Janki did everything she could to get close to Shekhar… She wanted him at any cost… But her constant failure was pushing her towards the dark magic… Being in DADA section,she came across some dark magic histories and spells… She drew herself to that side of the magic,which always takes the one towards doom… No one realized that the sweet and genuine Janki Singhal becoming the devil herself…
After graduating from Hecate, Pavitra joined ministry to be trained as an Auror… She and Shashwat had decided to that together… Ramprasad also followed them to the ministry… He was ambitious of the power and position and only a place in Ministry of Magic could provide him that… Sharmistha joined Hecate as intern in Herbology… For her intelligence, she was offered this internship by the then Herbology professor himself… She gladly accepted it for it interested her and she also she could be with Shekhar now… Sujata,upon Janki’s instructions,joined Sharmistha to try to keep her away from Shekhar… But nothing could stop them… Day by day, Shekhar and Sharmistha were coming closer and Janki’s negativity and her inclination towards the dark magic was increasing… Now along with Shekhar,she wanted power… Ultimate power so that no one would defeat her… So much of power that people wouldn’t dare to refuse her… As one knows, following the bad path is easy and people often get tempted and follow it… Similar happened with Janki…
Having mutually decided to make their relationship official, Shekhar decided to talk about his and Sharmistha’s alliance to Parvati who had joined as a Hecate Principal by then… Parvati had some idea that Shekhar do loves someone and seeing his closeness with Sharmistha,she guessed that it could be her… But she was surprised when one evening Shekhar came to talk about his alliance… With Janki Singhal instead of Sharmishtha Singhal… Parvati didn’t liked Janki for she was informed that maybe she was involved with the black magic but she wasn’t sure… Shekhar’s whole group was standing right there including Shaswat, Pavitra and Ramprasad… Parvati took a glance at them… All of them were equally shocked and were gaping except one… Sharmistha… Her heart broke that day… She was numb she stood behind everyone motionless… Just tears were flowing out of her eyes… But Shekhar,he didn’t cared… He just went beside her to Janki ignoring her and slid the ring in her finger…
Their wedding took place and no one apart from Ramprasad and Sujata attended it from his group… They were all miffed with Shekhar and were really angry on him for breaking Sharmistha’s heart and cheating her all this time… Even Sharmistha was there for she had only Janki in her life and she wanted to be with her sister in her memorable moments even though it meant that she has to feel the pain of her heart being stabbed repeatedly by an invisible dagger… Her heart bleed Everytime Shekhar behaved romantically with Janki… First she thought that it was due to some reasons but she was shocked to the core when he refused to acknowledge any relationship between them other than friendship even when she talked to him alone and made him swear on the one he loves the most… When Shekhar was taking nuptial vows with Janki around the fire,she regretted being her younger sister… How easily she agreed to Shekhar’s proposal even after knowing about their relationship… And she was starting to feel a pinch of regret for loving Shekhar as well… She decided to stay away from him… She involved herself in Hecate Herbology Room day and night working hard with her senior… She stopped mingling… Durgaprasad and Annapurna tried to talk to her but she didn’t replied them anything else than the formal greetings for they were her seniors… She completely ignored Janki and Shekhar…
Eight months had passed since she broke her ties with her sister and her husband… She ignored them completely and whenever they came in front of her,she changed her way… Not wanting to face them… But something was surprising her these days… Shekhar who used to act completely ignorant of her was now suddenly,out of nowhere was seemingly affected by her ignorant behavior… He now tried to talk to her whenever he had the chance… It so happened that once when they were alone,he held her hand preventing her from going and asked her for her ignorance but when she asked him about with which right he was asking her,he left her hand in trance and had a clueless expression on his face,not knowing what to answer…
Sharmistha’s wounds, instead of healing was becoming greener and deeper day by day… She wanted to forget Shekhar but his recent behavior wasn’t allowing her to do so… And on top of that,these days he was even acting irresponsibly ignorant with her so called sister… One day, Pavitra and Shashwat visited her along with Durgaprasad and Annapurna… They were married now and Annapurna was even three months pregnant… Sujata had also married Ramprasad on the same day as Annapurna… Both the sisters married together and Sujata was one month pregnant… Shekhar and Janki had attended their wedding… Not as their friends but as their colleague… Ramprasad had secretly invited Janki but she decided to accompany Shekhar as a DP’s and Annapurna’s colleague so that there could be no suspicion arising… Shekhar’s friends were miffed with him so they didn’t invited him but as colleague they had to invite him and his wife… They had invited Shashwat, Pavitra and Sharmistha as well but they politely refused reasoning that they didn’t wanted to face the Gadodias which was true….
Sharmistha had not met her best friend since that unfortunate day… Seeing her in front after this long period broke her patience dam and she threw her arms around her crying her heart out! The four of them finally felt relief when they saw Sharmistha ready to share her sorrow… They were genuinely worried for her…
On constant insistence, Sharmistha finally opened herself up in front of these four people with whom she shared her college life… They had always been her pillars of support… She even told them about Shekhar’s recent behavior even Durgaprasad and Annapurna confirmed it for they had also observed this sudden change in him… Pavitra was at once in thoughts listening to it… She looked at Shashwat who was looking at her face trying to figure out what she was thinking…
Pavitra “I have a doubt… But I just need to confirm it… And Shashwat only you can help with it…”
Sharmistha looks cluelessly at her… Infact all of them were looking at her in the same way… She tells them something which is muted… All are shocked…
Sharmistha “Are you sure this is the case for his weird behavior from past eight months??”
Pavitra “We need to confirm and for that we need to know what happened before Shekhar told Principal Gadodia about the alliance thing… And so Shaswat can help us…”
Annapurna “She is right… Shaswat is Shekhar’s best friend… Shekhar tells him everything… Every single thing… Only he can get that information from him…”
Durgaprasad “And as far as I remember,that day Janki left earlier than usual… She had a box and a bottle with her… We just need to know what she did with him for its sure that she is the one behind all this!!”
Shaswat nods and leaves from there… All this while he was cursing Shekhar for doing that with Sharmistha but of Pavitra’s theory was true,then Shekhar is not a culprit but a victim… He needs to know that any cost… With hesitation,he knocked at the Charms room… Shekhar was sitting at his table reading something with concentration… He looks up and is surprised seeing Shashwat after eight whole months… He was beyond happy after seeing his best friend after such a long time!! He just ran to him and took him in a bone crushing hug… Shashwat could not help but flow in the emotion and reciprocated his hug… They both missed each other and each other’s friendship…
They part from each other and Shekhar takes him in… He sits beside him…
Shekhar “Where have you been all these times?? Even though it has been just few months but it seemed like ages to me!! I have never been away from you for such a long time! You didn’t even came for wedding… Leave wedding,you didn’t even replied to the invitation!!!”
Shashwat “Yeah!! I was stuck up somewhere so I couldn’t reply neither attend it… But see… I am here now… Tell me everything… How did you both marry??”
Shekhar “Of course it was a love marriage… (Shashwat looks on shocked) I loved her… So I asked Maa to do our wedding and she agreed… Now we are married…”
Shashwat “Of course I know that it’s a love marriage… I was present there when you asked for her and your alliance from Principal Gadodia… I want to know everything in detail till the time you went to meet your Mom regarding this…”
Shekhar “As if you don’t know! You are my best friend… You were there when I proposed her on our last day… Everybody was there…”
Shashwat was getting shock after shock… He proposed Sharmistha and not Janki then why was he saying so??
Shashwat “Of course you dumb head I was there but in case you don’t remember,I joined ministry after that and so I missed the major part of your love story…”
Shekhar nods and tells him everything… Shashwat noticed that not for once, Shekhar referred to Janki… He was using third person in his language referring as ‘her’… But his last statement confirmed his doubt…
Shekhar “— and then after I took leave to talk to Maa,she came… With a tiffin box…”
Shashwat “Who came?? And what was in it??”
Shekhar (for the first time taking a name) “Janki… She came with a tiffin box and offered me that… It had a sweet dish… Besan Barfi… It was tempting… She told me that it was for good luck as I was going to do a very big work today which will change our relations… I had it and I liked it… And then I talked to Maa… You were there… (Shaswat nods… But before he could say something, Shekhar continued) But… That Barfi was strange… (Shashwat looks on at him) I did not had it because I liked it but because it had that smell… And I love that smell…”
Shaswat “What smell?? Barfi must be having Barfi’s smell… Which smell you sensed and you love it so much??”
Shekhar (confuse as well as dreaming) “Sandalwood!! I love Sandalwood smell… And I know it’s weird to say that since I am married but Sharmistha has exactly the same smell… (Now a little sadly) Whenever I cross her,I get that smell and remember that this smell tempted me to eat Barfi that day…”
Shashwat “Do you regret eating that Barfi that day??”
Shekhar “I dont know… I have to leave now… My break time is over!!!”
And Shekhar runs out of the cabin taking some documents in his hand in order to avoid any further questions…
Shashwat realizes the truth in Pavitra’s theory… Shekhar was not the culprit but a victim… He goes back to them to share the information…
Shashwat “Pavitra was right… Janki did something with Shekhar exactly before he could talk to Principal Gadodia!!”
He tells them everything…
Pavitra “Sumi!!! Sandalwood smell!! The one which you use always!!”
Durgaprasad “That means he was given Amortentia… (All look at her curiously) Amortentia is the most powerful love potion in existence… It causes a powerful infatuation or obsession from the drinker… It smells different to each person, according to what attracts them… So after consuming that Shekhar must have been attracted towards Janki and all his memories with Sharmistha were replaced with hers…”
Annapurna “Janki must have added that in the Barfi and fed it to Shekhar… Shekhar found it tempting for the consumer of Amortentia feel that smell from the potion which attracts them the most… And in Shekhar’s case, it was Sharmistha’s Sandalwood smell…”
Sharmistha is in tears as she recalls an incident when she was with Shekhar and he was closing his eyes and breathing deeply… Sharmistha feels it weird and asks him… He replies that he is inhaling world’s most tempting smell for him… It’s his addiction and he can be drawn towards it even if he is in deep slumber… Sharmistha asks him about the smell… He replies it as her Sandalwood smell… Sharmistha blushes hearing it and Shekhar embraces her…
She comes out of her thought and is pained… And even angry on Janki… They immediately go to Parvati and inform her all the happenings…
Sharmistha “Principal Gadodia… Plz save Shekhar from Jaan Di!! She is dangerous… If she can do this with her own sister,then don’t know what she will do with Shekhar…”
Parvati didn’t liked Janki at all… Day by day,the rumour that Janki was involved in dark magic was becoming a fact and she was searching for a bait to catch her… And she got one… Now she won’t leave her… Specially what she did with her son!!
Pavitra “But Principal Gadodia,What about Shekhar’s recent behavior?? He is again ignoring Jaan— I mean Janki these days and drawing towards Sumi!! Why??”
Parvati “Because every artificial thing in this world has an expiry period… And for Amortentia,it’s 10 months to one year… Love potion creates attraction and not true love… As the attraction fades, person starts realizing true love… Same is happening with Shekhar… The effect of Potion is getting over and he is recalling everything related to Sharmistha… Now it’s time for Janki’s game to end…”
They all nod… Parvati goes to Shekhar and makes him have the Love Potion Antidote forcefully… Then everything is revealed to him… He is shocked to the core… Janki reaches there just then to say something but sees the whole troop looking at her with hate and disgust… She goes to Shekhar and tries to hold his face but he slaps her hard and he falls down sitting on the floor… Ramprasad and Sujata come there just then… They angrily glare at Shekhar and scold him…
Shekhar rebuke them back and told them everything what all they did unknown to the fact that they were involved with her all the while…
Ramprasad “Whatever!!! Nothing gives you the right to hit a 2 week pregnant woman!!”
Shock would be an understatement for everyone except the three at that moment… They didn’t knew how to act… Sharmistha just went to Janki and help her get up carefully… Shekhar was looking at Sharmistha with pain in his eyes… And he could read her pain through her face…
Sharmistha “Forget whatever happened between us Shekhar… Move on with Jaan Di… You have a new life waiting for you…!!”
She cries and is about to go but Shekhar holds her hand and stops her…
Shekhar “No Sumi… Not anymore… You have already faced much injustice for loving me and not anymore… Janki should be punished… And she will be punished…(to Janki) I am ready to take the responsibility of my child but you will no more be my wife… Even the ministry would nullify this marriage for it happened by cheat…”
Janki gets insecured once again!! All her planning and plotting,all went in waste… According to her,Sharmistha won again… She snatched her love from her again!! She was being defeated again!! She couldn’t let that happen…
Janki (in a threatening voice) “No Shekhar!! You can’t do this to me!! I have always loved you and only you!! You are my obsession and ambition and you cannot leave me!! I am your wife! And I won’t let you leave me!! If dared to do so,I will kill Sumi as well as this child!! (She charges at Sharmistha) Avada—”
But Durgaprasad being faster comes in front of her and points his wand at her and stops her ” Finite Incantatem..!!!”
Janki is unable to complete her spell… She tries another time but fails badly… She is unable to complete any spell!!
Shekhar “It’s good you saw your true face to me!! You aren’t worth to be called as a mother… You don’t have any motherly emotions in you… Don’t worry,I am not running away from my responsibilities… My child will get the love of a father as well as a mother (Sharmistha and Janki both look at him together) But that mother won’t be you… It will be her Masi… Get Sharmistha Maa… Sharmishtha… Will you help me in bringing up that child?? Will you forgive my past mistakes and accept me?? Will you be my wife and my life partner??”
Sharmistha is Stunned… She had always waited for it… She wanted to accept every part of it… She was ready to take the responsibility of the child as well but the circumstances were different right now…
Sharmistha “I will accept everything Shekhar… But I need some time… I am much hurt by the past and I need some time to heal my wounds… Then only will I be able to move on and take the responsibility of our child…”
She had half accepted his condition by referring to Janki’s child as her… Shekhar was happy and hopeful again… Janki was kept under strict supervision of Parvati… She was allowed to continue as a DADA Professor to earn for her living but no one used to talk to her except Ramprasad and Sujata… This sometimes irritated Durgaprasad and Annapurna as they used to live with them but as Sujata was pregnant,they didn’t said much to them…
After six months, Shekhar and Janki were separated and One month later,he married Sharmistha…
Pavitra and Shekhar also got married after that and this time the whole group was together except for three… But they didn’t mattered much…
Janki tried to play her trick again after the birth of her daughter… By that time, Annapurna had already given birth to Sanskar and Sujata to Rohan… Sharmistha named her Elder Daughter as Swara… Shekhar was beyond happy but Janki tried to elope with Swara and tried to blackmail Shekhar into coming back to her but with the help of ministry,she was caught and Swara was handed over Gadodias… They believed that Janki left their lives as she had resigned from Hecate… Four months later, Sharmistha was pregnant… All were very happy… And their happiness was not doubled but trippled for Annapurna and Pavitra were also pregnant… Sharmistha and Pavitra dreamed that their children will also be best friends like their parents and will grow up hearing their tales… Their baby shower ceremony was going on… When Janki returned to create havoc in their lives… She came to kill Sharmistha’s unborn child for her daughter could never get the deserved love and respect of Sharmistha will give birth to her child… She made Shekhar and Durgaprasad unconscious for they tried to save her… Janki had become much more powerful and was not coming under any control… Sharmistha asked Shashwat to take Pavitra away from there to a safe place and made them swear on her… They had no other option but to leave… Annapurna and Sharmistha didn’t gave up and fought back… And then something happened which defeated Janki and made her weak… After that,The Gadodias went in a hideout untill their daughters turned eighteen…

The faculty and Shashwat were looking at Parvati questioningly… She just signed them secretly through her eyes and they stiffly nodded…
Swara was looking guilty at Sharmistha and Ragini… She felt disgusted of her own existence… She was ashamed of herself…
Swara (crying bitterly) “I am sorry Mom and Dad… I don’t deserve to be your daughter… I dont deserve your love… I don’t deserve Ragini’s respect… I am ashamed of myself and my blood!!”
Sharmistha “Shona!!! Don’t you dare say that again!!! You are my daughter!! And my and your blood is same!! So what if I didn’t gave birth to you!! I am your mother… I brought you up… You have my upbringing and you resemble us… Not my elder sister… Plz… Don’t say this…”
Swara hugs Sharmistha… Ragini was watching all of it silently… She was being protected from her own Masi!! Her own Masi wanted to kill her… But what happened on Baby Shower day with Sharmistha and Annapurna that Janki was defeated and she became weak!! The slam of the door broke her thoughts….
Rohan had rushed out just then… All looked in his direction…
Shashwat goes to Aisha… He keeps a hand on her shoulder…
Shashwat “Aisha… Go to Rohan… He had no one other than you… He needs you right now… Go to him… I know about you both and he is a nice boy… As Sharmistha said… Blood doesn’t matters… Upbringing does and his upbringing was done by the most awesome people… Maheshwaris!! I am proud of your choice… But go to him for now… He needs you…”
Aisha just nods tearfully and goes out of cabin as well…
Lakshya was again on his guilt tour… His tears were not ready to stop… Though his father had forgiven him but he was not able to do so… He just mumbled a good bye and left the cabin… Durgaprasad wanted to follow him but Annapurna stopped him…
Annapurna “He needs some time to reduce his guilt… And if you will go to him,it will only increase it for now… Only one person can handle him in such situation…”
Durgaprasad “I know… Ragini (Ragini looks on startled at him… She then looks at her parents and Dadi but they weren’t shocked or angry but giving the expression that they know it) I request you… Plz go to him… My son needs you and only you can calm him down… Plz go to him… Plz…”
She looks at her family for permission and they approve… She also leaves the cabin…
Parvati “Swara, Sanskar you both also go and take rest… It was a long day for you both as well…”
SwaSan also leave…. But Swara is still grief stricken and Sanskar is getting pain in his heart seeing her such… He never saw her so heartbroken…
After the SSS leave…
Shekhar “Maa!! You didn’t told them the whole truth!! Why ???”
Sharmistha “You know that prophecy!! They need to know that as well…”
Annapurna “Unless they know,they cannot complete the work!! They have to know it!!”
Shashwat “And moreover,they have to do it together… They can’t do it alone… All six of them are involved…”
Durgaprasad “I just know that whatever Principal Gadodia does,she has a good reason for it… What is it now??”
Parvati (nods) “Yes… There is a reason… In order to complete the prophecy,they need to unite… They are not ready yet… They are still incomplete and untrained… They are unaware of their destiny… They are ready to do anything for each other as a friend and they have been tested upon it (she remembers how they chose their friends instead of their lovers as partners for their mission) You all know that SwaSan, RagLak and RoIsha are destined for each other and in order to defeat the evil,they have to become one… In real sense… Love is the most purest and powerful feeling and only love can defeat the hate… And this is the war between love and hate… But in order to defeat hate,they have to become one… In true sense… And I don’t think you all have any objection to it!!They will know the whole truth when the right time comes… And I sense it’s coming fast…”
All shake their head… Parvati nods and smile…

Whoosh!!! That was really long chapter!! 7414 words!!! Can you believe it?? Even I can’t as a lazy person like me wrote it… So this is the new longest chapter of this story… Infact my every story!! Now coming back to the chapter…Did you like Gadodias’ past?? How many of you expected something like this??
