Doctors are giving grim look to everyone…
Lakshya “What happened doctor?? I know Ragini is fine… But at least tell why are you giving such expressions?”
Doctor 1 “Mr. Kapoor… I am afraid that what you are thinking is wrong… Mrs. Kapoor is still in danger… She is already critical due to excessive blood loss… But that is not the problem…”
Rohan “Don’t increase the adrenaline within us… Come straight to the point…”
Doctor 2 “She was shot from behind… The jacket was thick enough to slow the speed of the piercing bullet but still it went much ahead and reached her rib cage… It is very near to her heart and cannot be taken out without operation…”
Sanskar “Then what are you waiting for? Start the operation…”
Doctor 1 ” Dr. Maheshwari… I know you are stressed for your sister but how can you forget that the survival chances in such operations are 50:50… We are not sure of its success…”
Sharmishtha screams “No… My laado… Doctor do anything but make her fine… I want my Laado…”
Shekhar tries to console her but he himself is losing control…
Lakshya “Even if there is 1% chance,I will take it… (All look at him) Because there is even 1% chance of my Ragini’s survival…”
Swara “But Bhai… It has equal amount of risk…”
Rohan and Lakshya together “But equal amount of hope as well…”
They look at each other and nod…
Lakshya “Doctor… You all start with the process…”
Doctor 2 “If you say so Mr. Kapoor,then fine… Come with me… You have to do some formalities… In five minutes,we will take Mrs. Kapoor to the OT…”

The time is ironical… It’s 7 o’ clock…
The time when SwaRagini’s bidaai was to happen…
Ragini is brought out of ICU… She is unconscious and is having an oxygen mask on her face…
Lakshya comes after doing the formalities and stood before her…
His eyes began to well up but he controlled himself… He caressed her forehead and kissed it… Sharmishtha and Shekhar comes next… They do the same… SwaSan come to her…
Sanskar “Oye chirkut… You need to recover very fast… You know na… I cannot do anything perfectly without you… Today I am even admitting it… Get fine soon if you want to hear this properly…”
Swara “Get fine soon Ragini… If you want to see your Bhabhi free of guilt… Plz recover soon…”
Rohan “Doctor… I am coming inside with you all… (Doctor is about to say something but he stops them…) Plz now do not try to formulate any new rule… I know that one person from the family is allowed… And I will be that person… I had promised her that I will be beside her throughout… Even if it will be hell… So I am also coming…”
Aisha squeezes his shoulder and nods…
Doctors also nod…
Ravish “Why are you all so grim… She will definitely be fine… DIA cannot operate without her… And how will Ravish Mehta exist without replying YES CHIEF!! She will come back…”
He wipes his constant falling tears and speaks with a choking voice…
Annapurna “Get well soon Ragini… My house will be no less than a grave without you…”
She kisses her forehead…. DP consoles her…
Dadi caresses her head…
Doctors “Now it is time for the operation…”
They take her towards the OT… Rohan, Lakshya and others follows them…

Aisha goes to Lakshya and holds his shoulders “I am proud of you Lucky… The way you are handling yourself and others it’s so commendable… I understand how difficult it is to make yourself stable and control… I have been through this… And I so badly wish that like Rohan’s case,this is also fake but—…. Anyways… Keep yourself strong and believe in your love and God… Everything will be fine… Your love is the most powerful… It cannot let anything be snatched from you…”
Lakshya nods stiffly…
They hug and Aisha goes with Khanna to Kavya’s room…
In Kavya’s room…
Aisha and Khanna enter Kavya’s room…
She is holding Raisha… As soon as she sees Aisha entering , she places Raisha carefully on the bed and runs to hug her…
Aisha also hugs her back…
Aisha “You are alright na…??”
Kavya “Di I am alright but Ragini?? How is she?? Where is she?? Is she alright??? Nothing happened to her right??”
Aisha “She is in OT…”
Kavya’s eyes widen…
Kavya “OT??”
Aisha narrates her everything…
Kavya also cries…
Khanna looks at them…
Khanna “I know her very well… She will fight even death to come back for the ones whom she loves… She will definitely be alright…”
Aisha and Kavya nod…
Kavya “Di… Plz go to Raisha…”
Aisha nods and runs to Raisha… She picks her up in her arms and kisses her frantically while herself crying…
She then hugs her tightly…
Aisha “My baby… My life… Mumma missed you so much… I am so sorry for leaving you alone… Now mumma will never leave you alone… Promise…”
She cries and says these words while hugging her….
Khanna “It’s ok Aisha… She is with you now… Absolutely safe… Now no one can harm her…”
Aisha nods and relaxes…
She then looks at him and speak “Sir… I want to know whole mystery… Of yours… Else it will keep on rotating on my mind… Plz sir…”
Khanna nods and he tells her the whole thing…
Aisha feels guilty…
Khanna senses it….
Khanna caressing her head “It’s ok Aisha… You are my student… And I was wrong at that point of time… So I deserved whatever happened with me… So don’t feel guilty…”
Aisha nods “Now I am just praying for Ragini… Don’t know why… But some unknown fear is slowly suffocating my optimism… I hope my fears are defeated…”
Khanna “It will my child… It definitely will… DIA Chief Ragini Maheshwari Kapoor is not so weak that a bullet will defeat her…”
Kavya and Aisha nod…
Ragini is being taken towards the OT…
Lakshya is holding her hand but as the stretcher is pulled forward,their hands are slipping from each other’s grip…
It slips completely while Lakshya Lakshya looks on emotionally towards going Ragini…

The door closes…

The lights above the door switches on indicating that the process inside has begun…

Lakshya recalls hugging Ragini while one evening on terrace and she hitting him playfully… He blinks his eyes while standing there fixed allowing more tears to escape his eyes…

The ladies are in hospital’s temple praying for Ragini… Sharmishtha is crying inconsolably but is still praying…
Shekhar,DP and Ram are sitting on the hospital benches… Shekhar is leaning his head back on the wall recalling his moments spent with his princess… He closes his eyes and tears fall…

Inside the OT Ragini’s operation is going on… Rohan is standing beside her holding her hand… She is unconscious… He is unable to see her blood but is trying to make himself strong just for her… He recalls their Jai Veeru moments and smiles…

Rohan thinks “Ragini… You have never denied me (He then stops and recalls something…) Except for most of the times but it was necessary but you must not deny me on this… Yes it’s true that we are Jai Veeru… But I don’t ever want an ending like them… If this Jai goes away,then I swear Veeru will also stop living…

It was 10 o’ clock… But the operation was still going on…
Kavya comes in between there to meet everyone… She consoles Lakshya… She wanted to stay there but Ravish sends her to her room as she needed rest… At first she denied but reluctantly agreed on everyone’s insistence… Especially Lakshya… No one dared refuse him at the moment… Everyone knew that though he was sounding and seeming calm and composed,he was going through huge emotional turmoil within him… That emotion would break anytime and then it would be very difficult to compose him… Only Ragini had that power…. To calm him and to control him…
They were still waiting outside the OT…
It was 12 o’ clock now…
The lights of the OT were switched off…
Everyone stood up with startle… Lakshya was already standing up…
He was on his spot standing motionlessly for the last 5 hours… But he was not feeling any strain… Maybe he was feeling Ragini’s pain… Which was far more from his…
At the moment he cared about nothing…
The only thing which now was of his concern was Ragini… He wanted to see his Ragini fine…
He wanted to see her again walking, talking,smiling, scolding Rohan, fighting with Sanskar, ordering her DIA members… Playing pranks with her lady gang… And romancing with him…
He so badly wanted that to happen…
His gaze was fixed on the OT door…
As it moved to open,his heart started beating rapidly…
He was intensely gazing at the moving door…..
