Lakshya’s gaze was fixed on the OT door…
As it moved to open,his heart started beating rapidly…
He was intensely gazing at the moving door….
It seemed him as hours which were only few seconds… The door finally opened and doctor came out… All green green clothes…
Lakshya looks on… He was about to ask him when he hears some noise behind him…
He looked behind the doctor…
There Rohan was constantly questioning another doctor who coming out of the OT… They both also covered in green….
Doctor 2 came and stood beside Doctor 1 and they both rolled their eyes signing at Rohan…
Everyone comes and stands near Lakshya…
Rohan “Will anyone present over here tell me what was the result of the operation??? Come on guys… I am a cop not a doctor who will see and understand…”
Doctor 1 “Mr. Mehta Relax… We are telling… It’s just that we wanted to tell all of you together else everyone would have questioned again and again…”
Rohan “You could have told me that inside as well…!!!”
Doctor 2 “Now you want to listen or shall we explain ourselves to you?”
Rohan keeps a finger on his lips…
Here Lakshya is going impatient every moment…
Lakshya “Doctor… Ragini??”
Doctor 1 “Mr. Kapoor bullet has successfully been removed from her body… But it was really difficult for us… The bullet was really near her heart and a small mistake from us would have cost her life…”
Lakshya clenches his fist…
Sharmishtha gasps… Annapurna puts her hand on her mouth…
Doctor 2 “But nothing so happened… But she is still not out of danger…”
Sanskar “What do you mean?”
Doctor 1 “Dr. Maheshwari this operation took longer than usual… Our work was just taking out the bullet then also… That means it penetrated really inside… And must have caused internal injuries… But are not sure…”
Swara “Then why are you saying so…??”
Doctor 2 “we gave her Anastasia… If she doesn’t gets conscious in 4 to 6 hours then we are afraid that she might be suffering from some internal injuries and that may be really harmful for her…”
Lakshya “Can we meet her?”
Doctor 2 “Ya sure… We are shifting her to another room… Then you can meet her…”
Lakshya nods… Doctors tap his shoulder and goes…
Rohan “I will tell Aisha and others…”
Lakshya nods…
Rohan also goes…

Ragini is shifted to another room… All are gathered outside the room…
Doctors come out and permits them to meet her…
Sharmishtha “Lakshya beta… You go first…”
Lakshya “No MAA… You go… She is your daughter… You have the first right… And I am to here only… I will meet her after you all…”
Sharmishtha nods and goes in followed by whole family (elder members)…
Lakshya and others sit outside…
Sanskar “Lucky Bhai… Why didn’t you go in…”
Lakshya “All are tired… They need rest… I thought once they meet Ragini,they can go home then… And anyways I am staying here whole night… So I can meet her then…”
Sanskar “You are right…”
They sit for few seconds quietly… Lakshya then suddenly looks at Sanskar who is constantly looking at Swara… She is standing alone in the corner and silently weeping…
Lakshya “Sanskar Bhai… Are you miffed on Swara??”
Sanskar “What? No… Why would I be… Infact I was with her only… She is guilt stricken…”
Lakshya “What guilt?”
Sanskar “She thinks that Ragu is in this condition because of her… (Lakshya shakes his head in disbelief) I know… I also said same to her… But she is not understanding… I tried to console her but she asked me to let her be alone… I had to leave her reluctantly…”
Lakshya “Wait here… I will come back…”
Sanskar “I also think that… She needs you… Anyways you have not talked to her since you returned… So she might be thinking that you also think her to be responsible for Ragu’s condition…”
Lakshya realizes Sanskar is saying right…
He gets up and goes to Swara…
Swara is weeping and wiping her tears…
Lakshya comes to her and puts a hand on her shoulder…
She turns and sees Lakshya… He signs and asks what happened?? She shakes her head trying to stop her tears but end up crying even harder and hugs Lakshya… He also hugs her and caresses her head…
Swara “I am so sorry Bhai… I swear I never wanted that to happen… I was in rage that time and said such thing in anger but I never meant a single word… Ragini is in this condition because of me… I know you also think that she is here because of me… But trust me Bhai I never wanted this… She is equally important for me as for you all… Plz forgive me Bhai… I am sorry…”
Lakshya “Shhshshshsh… Did I said something to you… No na? Idiot girl… You are married but still your habit of drawing all the conclusion only from your perspective has not gone… You were worried for your Bhai na… That’s why you said all these… I know… My little sis can never think of anyone’s wrong… Now look at me…”
Swara parts and looks innocently at him… He wipes her tears…
Lakshya “Now listen to me like a good girl… Stop blaming yourself about whatever happened… You are nowhere at fault… You were not even there… Ragini is here because she took my bullet on her… Then how can your mistake be there… Look at Sanskar Bhai… He is already in devastated condition… His sister is in this condition and now if even you will behave like this then how will handle himself all others… You have to be his strength… Hai na?”
She nods innocently… Lakshya signs her to go to Sanskar… She nods and goes… He follows her… Swara comes to Sanskar and puts a hand on his shoulder…
He looks at her and stands up…
They look at each other and then hug…
Swara “I am sorry Sanskar… I will never worry you now…”
Sanskar “Even you know that it is not possible…”
Swara “I mean I will try…”
A smile crepts on Lakshya’s face…
SwaSan part and Sanskar thanks Lakshya… Lakshya nods…
Everyone comes out of Ragini’s rooms…
Dadi “Lakshya… You go now…”
Lakshya “I will go but first you all go home and take rest (Annapurna is about to say something but Lakshya speaks before her…) I promise I will call you all if anything wrong happens… You all need rest…”
Annapurna “But Lakshya you are also tired… You are staying here na… Then why can’t we…”
Lakshya “That is what I am saying… You all take rest till then I am here… When I will be tired,you all come and take care of Ragini… Is that fine…??”
All the family members reluctantly nod…
Lakshya “Swara, Sanskar Bhai–”
Sanskar “No Lakshya Bhai… We are staying here that’s it… Whole DIA team will be here…”
Swara nods…
Lakshya “Ok fine… But at least send Khanna sir with them… He also needs rest… And support… He is posing to be calm and composed but understand it… ”
Ravish “KABIR was his son afterall… And he was killed by his hands… He needs to let that emotion flow out of him…”
Swara nods…
Sanskar “I will go to Kavya’s room and request Khanna sir… No… I will force him to go home with all…”
Ravish “Come I will accompany you…”
Sanskar nods and they both leave…
Swara “I will drop family members to the car…”
Lakshya nods… She and other family members also leave…
He enters Ragini’s room…
She is unconscious… He goes and sits beside her… He holds her hand and kisses it… He then caresses her head…
Lakshya “Mad girl..!! Did not even thought about me… What would I do of such life in which you aren’t there… Never ever dare to do that again and Mrs. Ragini Maheshwari Kapoor,the DIA chief,it’s an order..!!”
His eyes are tearing…
He continues “Your silence is hurting me more than your condition… Plz Ragini… Plz wake up… Look your Lakshya is here… To irritate you,to annoy you but then to pacify you… To tease you but then to admire you… And above all to love you… You have to wake up… Not only for me… But for our love…”
He again kisses her hand…
Rohan,Aisha and SwaSan are on the gate… They hear Lakshya speaking…
Swara gets teary and leaves door… They go to her…
Sanskar “Swara–”
Swara “No Sanskar… I am feeling bad for Bhai… He is just posing to be strong… He is totally weak from inside… If today something happens to Ragini,it will be a double loss for us… We will loose Bhai as well…”
Aisha “And maybe we will never be able to see the old Rohan…”
They look at her but she is looking at something else… They follow her gaze and see Rohan who is outside the door looking through the glass opening at Ragini… He is clenching his fist very tight…
Aisha “God Forbid if anything happens to Ragini,then along with her,we will loose many more things…”
She shivers at just the thought of it…
Sanskar goes to Rohan… He holds his shoulders and makes him sit…
Rohan “Bhai… Ragu will be fine right??”
Sanskar nods…
Swara and Aisha look on with teary eyes…

At 4:00 am…
Doctors come to check upon Ragini…
Doctor 2 “It’s been four hours… The effect should have been over till now… I was afraid for this…”
Lakshya worries…
Doctor 1 “Still we will observe her for another 2 hours… Of still she is unconscious,then I am afraid,our fear may come true…”
Lakshya “No… I won’t let this happen… Ragini will be fine…”
Doctor 1 “Yes Mr. Kapoor… You should never loose hope… But still I would advice you to keep praying… Coz it is important for her to get conscious…”
Lakshya nods worriedly
Doctor 2 “Mr. Kapoor plz go out for sometimes… We need to keep her under observation for 2 hours…”
Lakshya nods and goes out…
Rohan Aisha and SwaSan were sitting there only… They at once get up seeing him out…
Aisha “What happened Lakshya… You came out?”
Swara “Ha Bhai??”
Lakshya tells them everything…
They all put on a grimace on their face…
Doctor’s voice keeps ringing in Lakshya’s mind…
Just then he hears namaz being offered in the nearby masjid…
Lakshya “Rohan… Be with Ragini… Do not leave her… I will be back…”
Lakshya walks off from there leaving all four of them in confusion…
Aisha “I will go after him…”
Sanskar “No Aisha… Wait here with Rohan… Raisha is there with Kavya… She may need you… I am going after him…”
Aisha nods…
Swara “Sanskar I am also coming…”
Sanskar nods…
They go after Lakshya…
Aisha “Where could he go?”
Rohan “To bring back Ragini… The determination I saw on his face tells that only…”
Aisha looks in the direction from where Lakshya and SwaSan went out…
Lakshya goes towards the masjid…

Lakshya enters the masjid and opens his shoes… He ties a handkerchief on his head and goes inside… SwaSan see him… They also follow him inside… Swara covers her head with a scarf…

Lakshya goes and bows his head before mazar… He closes his eyes and prays for Ragini….
SwaSan come and places a hand on his shoulder…

They are stopped by a man… All three look at him… He gives them a thread and shows them a gate where numerous similar thread are tied…

Lakshya imagines Ragini coming from the other side of the gate and standing opposite him that side only smiling at him and tying the thread with him… He is about to touch her when she vanishes and he realizes that he was dreaming… This pains him even more…

He breaks down and cries for his love… SwaSan try to console him… He nods and somehow get up…

There doctors are trying their best but Ragini is still not responding… Rohan and Aisha are inside her room… They are equally worried…

Lakshya then sees a man walking on burning coal… He goes and inquires about it… The maulvi present there tells him that when someone desires something with pure heart and soul and walks on the coals,then his wish is definitely fulfilled… He looks there determined…

Lakshya prepares himself to walk on the coals… SwaSan try a lot to stop him but he doesn’t listen and makes them swear on him that they won’t stop him from doing so unless Ragini is conscious… They reluctantly agree…

Lakshya steps on the coals… He feels the burns and moans painfully but does not stops… He just walks on it joining his hands and praying for Ragini’s well being… Lakshya goes one side from other and completes one round… SwaSan are helpless to watch this…

He completes the second round as well… His soles are burning but the burn pains are way less than the pain he is feeling in his heart…

In the hospital,Doctors are trying their best… But Ragini does not responds… They also start loosing hope… Rohan is also shattering every moment… Suddenly her hands moves… A nurse notices it and shows it to doctors and others… A new hope Kindles in their eyes…

Lakshya is still walking on the coals…. He has completed four rounds till now… Swara’s phone rings… She picks it up and Rohan informs her about Ragini about to get conscious and their prayers getting answered… She smiles and cries out of ecstasy… And calls out Lakshya…

Swara “Bhai… Ragini!!”
Lakshya sees her expressions and understands what she wants to say… He completes the incomplete 5th round and runs to mazar to thank God…
He then runs out of masjid runs towards hospital barefooted… SwaSan run behind him…

He stumbles but composes himself… He falls but gets up and runs again… He feels pain but ignores it and keeps running only to see Ragini…
There Ragini is about to open her eyes… Lakshya is on the hospital stairs… Ragini opens her eyes very slowly but Lakshya being more faster enters the room calling her name at the same time when she opens her eyes…
They look at each other… The first person whom Ragini saw and wanted to see was Lakshya… Her happiness knew no bounds… And Lakshya his happiness cannot be expressed… His life has returned to him… At the moment he is devoid of any pain or other negative emotions… RagLak just look at each other quietly…
