Swaragini : my side story (episode 16)

Ragini smiles looking at sanskar .She suddenly feels a jerk at her end.she looks at sanskar. he was far away from her talking to pari and Aadarsh.she realizes it was her imagination but the papers in her hand were not her imagination.She is about to go to sanskar but swara starts coughing loudly..

She immediately hands her a glass of water..Swara takes the glass and holds ragini’s hand.

Swara(In mind): thank God ragini stopped ..Sanskar will soon make her realize her feelings.Before that I have to send ragini away from here.

Ragini: are u okay swara?

Swara: haa ragini ..Its cold here na..Lets go to my room.

Ragini: but..

Swara practically drags ragini from there and maya who sees this finds it suspicious and follows them.

Downstairs.

Swara: ragini I think you should leave from here now.Pack your bags.

Ragini: swara now?..I mean ..

Maya: now??

Both look at maya who was standing near the door.

Maya: how can she leave now.Ragini please stay to two more days na.We will have lots of fun.

Swara gets irritated.

Swara: No Maya she cant stay here.This is not her house.(She looks at ragini)haina ragini this is not your house.and we should not stay in your sister’s sasural for long.

Ragini bends her head.

Maya understands ragini’s feelings.

Maya: So what even I am staying in my sister’s sasural.

Swara: Look Maya this is between us so better not interfere.I am her sister and as elder sister I have right to take decision which is good for her..

Ragini: swara why are you talking to Maya like that.

Swara: look ragini you came her for karva chauth now its over its good if you leave.

Ragini looks at her feeling hurt..Swara realizes that she was too harsh.

She holds ragini’s hands in hers..

Swara: Ragini I am sorry but you know na you are leaving to US in one week and I want you to spend some time with maa baba not waste your time around unnecessary people.(She glances at Maya).

Ragini: I will leave in the morning swara.

Swara smiles.

Swara: okay pack your bags.

Swara leaves.

Ragini starts packing her bag.

Maya: ragini I understand she is your sister but not your not god mother.How can you let her take your decision.

Ragini smiles sourly.

Ragini: I have always been like this Maya .Someone ellse decides for me.always.

Maya : not anymore ..Do you really think Swara has concern for you..Take your own decision ragini..Think about your life.You always kept your thoughts to yourself but what happened everytime it was you who was blamed.Now is the time to open up.

Ragini looks on..

Here in swara’s room.

Laksh comes from behind and hugs swara..

She jerks him.

Laksh: swara what is wrong..Its been one month to our marriage .Its time to start everything fresh

Swara: Laksh I said I need time to move on.

Laksh: move on from what..Bhai?

Swara looks on.

Laksh: Swara bhai loves ragini why don’t you understand.

Swara: why don’t you and your bhai understand me..

Laksh looks hurt..

Swara: look laksh I need some time.

She takes her pillow and sleeps on the couch.Laksh look at her hurt…

Swara(In mind): I wish I never revealed ragini’s truth..She would have remained laksh’s wife and I would have lived with sanskar.

Next morning everyone was waiting at dining table for breakfast..Sanskar’s eyes were searching for ragini..

He nudges Maya..

Sanskar: where is ragini..

Maya feels helpless..

Ragini comes down with her bags..

Everyone looks at her shocked.

Sujatha: ragini beta you r going.

Swara: haa chachi wo ragini is leaving to US in one week so we thought she should spend some time in badi.

Sanskar looks at ragini with pain.

She avoids his gaze.

DP: but beta atleast stay for today.

Swara: Papa even ma baba need some time with her.Ragini you go.I will talk to driver He will make the car ready.

Sanskar stands up.

Sanskar: I will drop her.

SWara: sanskar you have office na.Ragini doesn’t want to trouble anyone.

Sanskar: she might think she is a trouble for me ..But every moment with her is precious to me.

Ragini looks at him emotionally.

Swara gets irked.

In the car

Sanskar doesn’t even talk a word to ragini.

Ragini: sanskar?

He doesn’t respond.

Ragini: I am sorry.

Sanskar: why ragini ..You took your decision why are you sorry for that.I always said I respect your decision what ever it is.

Ragini has no words to speak..

Finally ragini gets down at badi and sanskar doesn’t even stop for her thanks.

Its been one week that ragini came back from MM both ragsan saw the extremes of being separated .

Sumi comes to ragini’s room .

Sumi: ragu

Ragini was thinking about sanskar.

Ragini: haa sanskar.

She realizes what she said.

Ragini : sorry maa.

Sumi smiles.

Sumi: ragu you love him na?

Ragini: no maa

Sumi: I might not be janki but I understand you.I have been through same phase years back.

Ragini looks at her.

Sumi: years back when my mother didn’t want me to marry shekhar and shekhar couldn’t marry me because of maa…we both left our love for our families and society but what happened ..we ended up hurting janki.See ragini I know you are worried about society but think about sanskar ..when he is ready to face the world for you why cant you take a step with him.

Ragini gets thinking

Meanwhile dadi comes there.

Dadi: ladoo sanskar came to meet you.

Ragini gets happy but at the same time becomes nervous.

Dadi: he is waiting for you on the terrace.Go meet him.

Ragini: but dadi..

Dadi: go beta.

Ragini goes to the terrace .She finds sanskar looking at the stars..

She moves close to him.

Ragini: sanskar

Sanskar: so you made your decision

Ragini: I am sorry.

Sanskar: NO need for sorry ragini..I always said I will support you in your every decision..

Ragini looks at him emotionally.

Sanskar: Be it a yes or a no. I will always stand with you

.She stares at him .a tear drop skips his eye.Suddenly he drags her into a tight embrace and captures her lips with his.Ragini gasped against his lips.Their tears touched each other.It was not a passionate kiss it was a kiss to ensure they don’t let go of each other.It was may be a way of sharing their pain. Neither of them wanted to break it.

It was a way of melting the pain within them. The only witness to their pain was the lips that were touching and consoling each other and the dark night which was watching them.

Finally they broke the kiss.

And stared into each other’s eyes..

Sanskar: sorry I couldn’t stop my self..

Ragini bends her eyes.

Sanskar: can I come to drop you tomorrow to airport Please..

Ragini nods..

He is about to leave ..

Ragini: sanskar…Thank you for making this so special..Your memories ,your love ,mainly you are… there everywhere around me but it is not in my fate..Hope you understand.

She runs away crying..

Sanskar looks on…

SO sorry for breaking your hearts but I had something else in my mind..
