let’s get started with the story-
Sanskar- why didn’t you let me tell mom about your pregnancy? And what was that you told them that they should go.
Their talks were interrupted by uttara who just came in the room.
Uttara- bhai I hope I didn’t disturb.
Sanskar- what happened uttara?
Uttara- vo laksh bhai gave these files for you. He said that this one he had completed it and you just need to check once and the others are almost done only the quotation part is left. Yaa…actually he was coming to give you this by his own but badi maa stopped him for talking.
She handed the files to sanskar, who took them and nodded in reply and she went from there.
Sanskar looked at swara who was sitting idly lost in her thoughts.
Sanskar- swara I asked you something?
Swara- haan [came to senses]
Sanskar- I asked you why you stopped me from telling them about your pregnancy.
Swara- wo….wo badi maa is worried for ragini and was upset for being late for their departure for rajasthan.…. [looking away from him] I didn’t want that knowing about my pregnancy or any reason related to me she stops. When they will come we will tell everyone. For now badi maa is quite afraid about ragini’s child and is going for praying for the well being of her child. I don’t want to add any insecurity, responsibility or hurdle in her way.

Sanskar- seriously swara….. you got no better reason to explain your act. [swara looked at him blankly] [he gritted his teeth] you are ill here and you are for god sake pregnant and I have just known this a night before. I have no idea of your medication and how to take care of you, what should I give you to eat and what not and in this situation you asked them to leave. Do you have even little of common sense. After last night i have seen your condition getting worse and in the midst when we are in such odd moment of our relation you simply asked them to go.
Sanskar- you are thinking here of the welfare of ragini’s child-good but what about our child swara. For ragini you had been taking care of her and now everyone else too but here, other than you and me no one knows about your pregnancy. For all these days you were under no one’s supervision. What if anything would have happened to you, to our baby. And yesterday whatever happened I got to know from uttara. You didn’t even felt the need to mention all those to me. If ragini would have had that curry it would have been harmful but if you would have had it, it would have been harmful to you too. And now also you are not thinking about yourself and our baby but everyone else.
Sanskar- [in anger] tell me just one thing that whether like me, our baby also comes the last for you. Yesterday that you said about our baby, was it just a momentary phase for you? Why don’t you think about yourself and us first swara. Why always ragini and others are on your priority list? At least think about our baby and keep your health at first priority now, even if you don’t consider thinking about me? What if something happens to you or our baby because of your this nature. What if we lost our baby? The doctor clearly told that fever is not good for you and baby. Don’t you ever think of what will I go through, what dilemma I am in? Can’t you just let me handle things sometimes or atleast ask from me once. Swara you…
Swara- [shocked hearing him and tears flowed down her eyes] sanskar……
Sanskar looked at her who was shocked and in tears. He instantly stopped speaking and cursed himself for getting angry in such situation. He face palmed himself to relax his outraging nerves. God! She is ill, emotionally messed up and he just shouted at her.

Sanskar- I …… I am sorry…so sorry swara for shouting at you. It’s just you [again getting angry but controlling himself] …. You take rest…I am sending uttara.
Sanskar asked uttara to be with swara and that he will be there in a while. He came to terrace where nobody would come at that hour. He sat over the cemented bench held his head in his both hands. He was distorted with what he saw and what he told swara now.
Sanskar- [spoke to himself] I can’t believe maa [ap] you were more concerned about going than showing your concern for swara at this moment. Maa you were angry at me, didn’t talk to me, I understood everything but today what you did, how should I understand that. You didn’t think about swara’s condition that she is having fever and you readily agreed to go.
And me I am acting like a jerk. I shouldn’t have shouted at swara but…. But why doesn’t she understand. I got to know we are going to have our baby just few hours back. When I thought that now we will sort everything between us, things became more complicated and now we haven’t sorted things out and she has been suffering from so high fever and yet she is thinking about others. Doesn’t she understand that she needs to be taken care of at this time and why don’t she realise that I am also there who gets affected by her decisions and now the baby too. Don’t I matter to her a little also?

Sanskar was interrupted with a phone call.
Sanskar- hello
Sansakar’s pa- hello sir vo I have mailed you the deal’s legal papers for verification. Please check it and the clients have asked for a meeting shortly. When should I give the date sir?
Sanskar- you message me there number. I will myself talk with them. Yesterday I missed to save the number and I will check the papers. And yaa don’t schedule any meetings for me for the two days and rest I will inform you later.
He cut the call and immediately after few seconds received a message from his pa. when he checked the message he saw the messages he received from swara. The last message read- “please listen the voice message once for my sake”.
Her other messages were to receive his call, call her back, once talk to her etc. curiously he opened the voice message-
voice message-
“Sanskar please listen to this message fully. Sorry, even after you asked me not to disturb you I called you, messaged you and even sent this voice message. But I was helpless. I had no other option. I know you want me to leave, you don’t want to hear me and maybe that’s why you didn’t come home last night and don’t want me to contact you. That’s fine. After what I did it’s completely right what you have decided. I never thought that our relation would stand at this stage but nobody is to be blamed for this except me.
I now understand what you must have went through when I blamed you and left you. You are the best person anyone could have but I lost you, my fate and my stupidity. I am not understanding whether I should explain you why I left you or should ask forgiveness because you want to listen to none and what could even I explain. Nothing would justify what I did. But sanskar I have loved you truly and will love you till I have my breath. Anger…..anger destroys and it did sanskar. Your anger had its effect on me and my anger led to our downfall.
You asked me naa what would I do if you would have left me. I don’t know. I would have been broken, upset and angry with you and may be like you I wouldn’t want to listen to you. I am again sorry for leaving you, although it doesn’t matter much now. I won’t take much of your time and directly come to point. Please come home once. I have to inform you something very important. Please don’t neglect. Come home just once and listen to me for the sake of the love we had between us. I shouldn’t force you for anything but I have no other option. It’s about something you have the right to know and even I am at fault that I should have informed earlier. Sorry for this too. I promise I won’t ask you to accept me or anything as such. I have accepted the fact that I can’t be forgiven. Please come soon before i…..…I will wait for you to come. It’s really important please.”
Voice message ends.

Sanskar instantly felt guilty of his actions and his eyes turned glassy with tears feeling the pain in her voice when she spoke in the message. She did pause multiple times which clearly indicated him that she must have been crying while speaking all this.
Sanskar- I am sorry. [a whisper escaped his lips]
Sanskar- Where our relationship has come swara. How happy we were and now…… now when we got one of the biggest happiness of our life in the form of our baby, we couldn’t even be happy and smile contented.
He again face palmed himself and sat there for sometime before heading towards his room to check upon swara.
Sanskar entered the room and saw sujata instructing uttara to take care of swara and of the house. Sujata on seeing sanskar started speaking without giving break or time for him to respond.
Sujata- sanskar take care of yourself. We will come in five to six days ok and take care of this swara too. This girl is doing all insensible things. Since the day she has come she does her work all silently, i agree I was angry on her but now I have forgiven her then also she remains silent. I am not so horrifying. And when I came to her yesterday she slept on my lap. Aree which dil sleeps in her mil’s lap. Accha ok she can sleep but now see her she is sitting idle even when I called her two-three times. Take care of her and if needed talk to doctor once again. Accha ok I should go. This jiji naa is in so much hurry. Instead of one hour she is ready in half an hour. Are we could have gone tomorrow. This girl [swara] would have been fine too by that time completely. And…
Uttara- [interrupting sujata] maa we understood what you wanted to speak. You spoke to papa. Go and give him instructions too otherwise you will forget.
Sujata- haan I am going. Come downstairs in ten minutes we will leave.
Sujata went from the room.
Uttara- [worriedly] bhai see naa what happened to bhabhi. When I came in room I thought she is resting but now she isn’t responding. See her once.
Sanskar immediately came besides swara. He held her from shoulders and called her name but she didn’t said anything. She was in half lying position with eyes closed tightly. He patted her cheeks and then he realised that her fever had subsidised has again hiked up.
Sanskar- uttara didn’t you check her temperature. [said while touching her forehead and neck]
Sanskar- swara
sanskar shook her a little hard for which swara jerked and opened her eyes half, tears trickled down her cheeks. She looked at sanskar and only these words escaped her mouth.
Swara- it’s not as you are thinking. I care…I do…. baby…sanskar….
Sanskar- ssshhhhhhhh swara….we will talk later….calm down. I am here. Sorry for shouting at you…….
Immediately, he laid her properly and kept the damp cloth on her forehead after wiping her tears.
Uttara- bhai what happened. What you are talking about?
Sanskar- uttara nothing for now.
Just then they heard sujata calling them.
Uttara- bhai I think we should stop maa and badi maa. Swara bhabhi will need there care. Come we will tell them about bhabhi’s fever.
Sanskar changed the cloth on her forhead while swara still was murmuring few things. Sanskar stood and swara slightly held his hands.
Swara- [feeble voice, not so clear] don’t go…I am sorry….
Sanskar- I am just coming.
Sanskar removed her hold, placing her hand back on bed and walked downstairs with uttara.
Downstairs-

Laksh was saying to ap- maa we could have gone tomorrow assured that swara is fine. Papa is saying correct.
Ap- laksh swara is not a child to not understand how to take care of self. And over that she is fine now. we are going only after she told.
Ap- [to dp] ji we are leaving. You don’t take swara’s tension. It’s just fever. She will be ok.
Sanskar who heard ap became numb. Uttara was about to tell them to stop as swara again had high temp. but sanskar held her hand and nodded no. his face had turned cold and stern. Uttara was confused but didn’t spoke. Sujata again asking sanutt to take care followed ap, who had already started going out taking ragini along. Once they went sanskar directly went to his room.
