Chapter 63
Finally the time of their separation came to an end with the arrival of the big day. Swara and family was back to Maheshwari Mansion for the wedding and other rituals, as they all decided the wedding to take place there. These two months were really difficult for Sanskar and Siya, although Swara was equally missing their presence but she was somewhere happy to be back and spend some quality time with her loved ones, don’t know when she will get these time back again… In last two months Sanskar visited Indore twice, technically it was an official visit but he only knows how he managed to arrange these meetings over there. Once he took Siya also with him seeing her dull demeanor due to Swara’s absence. Their visit was a treat for Swara, as she didn’t expect them to be there….. Eventually the day had come….

Maheshwari mansion, Hall
The entire mansion was beautifully decorated for the big day, Ragini and Uttara has taken care of all the decoration and other interiors….. and their hard work was visible and deserves applaud, the place was transformed into a royal palace….. The guests were already there, but only family members and few dearer family friends and close friends of Swara and Sanskar…… Sanskar was already present on the stage, sitting on the big chair placed there busy in talking with his friends and Laksh when his eyes caught her, she was descending down the stairs, with Ragini and Uttara on either sides helping her by holding her heavy Lehnga… Siya was walking in front of Swara….. Sanskar scanned her from tip to toe, to him she was the most beautiful bride he has ever seen, and she was indeed. In blood red color heavy Lehnga with golden embroidery on it, she was dazzling…. The heavy jewelry, kohl eyes, red lips all adding more to her beauty…..
Laksh: (looking at Sanskar) Bhai, I am wondering how she agreed to marry you? Don’t you think she deserve much better…. Just look at her…..

Sanskar: (staring her) No, she is meant for me only….
Laksh looked at his brother with narrowed eyes, little surprised over his candid confession…. Soon she came up to there and he held her hand to help her with the stairs……. She wasn’t looking at him, with her eyes down she was fiddling with her fingers….. Sanskar eyes were observing her…..
Sanskar: (whispered) feeling nervous?
Looking at him, she slowly nodded….
Sanskar: (holding her hand) it’s ok baby, I am here with you…..
His warm touch and comforting words helped her to come out of her uneasiness….. it was then when she noticed him, in a fawn shervani, with intricate golden work on it and typical Marwari turban and side shawl, he was looking like a prince, she admired him silently. Soon after rituals started….. beginning with garland exchange followed by phera’s with seven wows, and marriage completed with mangalsutra and Sindoor… Sanjeet and Bushra did Swara’s Kanyadan. Now they were officially man and wife…..

Late Night, outside Sanskar’s room
Uttara and Ragini were standing there, obstructing Sanskar’s way……
Uttara: bhai, you can’t go like this….. Where is my gift?
Sanskar: gift! What gift??
Uttara: (angry face) what gift!!! Then forget about going inside the room….
Ragini: Uttara, don’t say like this otherwise he will be ready to leave from here…
Laksh: (smirks) Ragini, don’t go on his looks….. from inside bhai is dyeing to be with her, although he will never express… so just, don’t give up
Sanskar looked annoyingly at Laksh “lucky, you should be on my side” he said…..
Laksh: we had a deal, they promised me to give my share…
Sanskar: (raising a brow) what do you want??
Uttara: (looking at Ragini) your credit card for a week….

“What!!” sanskar exclaimed….
Uttara: bhai just think about the perk, in exchange you will get to see Swara bhabhi…..
Sanskar shook his head in disbelief “Fine, now may I” he said….. Uttara moved from the door with a winning smile…..

Inside the room
Swara was standing in front of mirror, removing her jewelry. She turned towards the door when heard him coming inside the room. He stared her before bolting the door and then came up to her, he stood behind with his eyes fixed on her…..
“Stop staring like this” she said blushingly
“What can I do, you are looking breath taking, it’s difficult to resist” he said embracing her from back….
She smiled looking at his image in the mirror, making her turn to him he kissed her forehead, Swara hugged him and he embraced her protectively….
Sanskar: Swara, finally you came in my life…
Swara: (staring him) and forever……
They stayed in silence for a while, clinging close to each other, living and feeling the most blissful moment of their life…..
“Swara” he called her softly

“hmmm” she replied
“Go, get change…. You must be uneasy in this heavy attire” he said caressing her cheek
Giving a small smile to him, she walked in the changing room with her night wears….. After getting change in a simple pink, short night dress, she asked him to change….. Soon getting fresh, they were on the bed, relaxing in each other’s arms… they were talking about some random stuffs when Swara stood up abruptly and moved to the side table, picking a small box from her bag she came up to him, Sanskar was looking at her, all puzzled…
Swara: (passing the box to him) This is for you….
Sanskar: (confused) for me!!
Swara: wedding gift from me…
Quickly undoing the wrapping he opened the box, curious to see his first gift from her…. a broad smile adorned his lips as he saw the gift, it was a wrist watch, a beautiful gold plated wrist watch….
“Thank you so much dear” he said…..
“You haven’t looked at it properly” she stated turning the watch, there was something engraved on the back…. some letters as he saw…. “SSS” reading it, he looked questionably at her…
“It stands for Swara, Sanskar and Siya” she explained him, moved by her gesture he took her in a bone crushing hug, she smiled over his reaction…..
“Although it’s not that expensive but….” He interjected her words “it’s precious for me” he replied….
Swara: (releasing herself from him) where is my gift??
Sanskar: you will get it but not today….
Swara: that’s not fair, you are supposed to give it today… it’s a ritual
Sanskar: (caressing her cheek) if you really want to go by the ritual, there is an important ritual of this night….
He said looking mischievously at her, first she didn’t get it but later knowing what he meant the pink color flushed to her cheek, nervously she looked at him……
Sanskar interpreting her uneasiness said “I was just teasing you, soon it’s going to be sunrise…. And I neither have intensions nor energy to do anything, I am drained and you are worst than me I know”

Swara got relax hearing him, encircling her arms around his shoulder she pecked his cheek…..
Swara: since you didn’t bring any gift for me, you have to compensate….
Sanskar: (putting his arm on her waist) what do you want??
Swara: sing for me….
Sanskar: (shocked) what!!!
Swara: yeah, I want you to sing something for me….
Sanskar: No way, I am not gonna do that in any way…
Swara: (annoyed) why???
Sanskar: I don’t want to scare you with my cacophony and leave a bad impression on you that is on our very first night after wedding….
Swara: (smile) it’s ok I am ready to torture my ears….
Sanskar: but I am not. Do I look like a fool to dare anything like this knowing how melodious you are…
Swara: (intense eyes) music is the best way to express your unsaid feelings or words…. I really want to hear you….
Sanskar: (staring her) you want to know how I feel for you. I have a solution…..

He picked his mobile from the side table and opened the music gallery. “This is what I want to sing for you” he said before playing the song…. And then played…

The song ended but Swara was still looking in his eyes, making him baffle she pecked his lips and whispered “Thank you so much my dear husband”. Happy with her little brave move he replied “you’re welcome Mrs. Maheshwari” and then pulled her closer and locked her lips with his…. They never dreamed of their first night could get any better than this…. the feeling of oneness in every eye was something different, ecstatic and euphoric indeed….
