Episode 16
Sanskaar directly comes inside the room. He is very hurt.
Sanskaar (shouts): “Roja… Roja…”
Swara comes, she guessed that he is angry.
Sanskaar: “Apun k sir dard kr rela h. (My head is paining.)”
Swara gives him massage… But still he doesn’t get peace.
Sanskaar: “Woh kudh ko kya smjhta h, apun ko khareedega. (What he thinks About himself, he can buy me?)”
He holds her hand and makes her sit beside him. Today he needs her, he keeps his head on her lap. He pour out all his pain, which were hidden inside his heart.
Sanskaar: “Apun ko apun k baap ne beaich diya, jab apun bahut chota tha. Woh aadmi apun ko bahut Marta tha, Apun roz bheekh mangta tha aur paise kama k usey deta tha. Jis din apun kam paise lata woh Apun ko bahut Marta, kabhi belt se, kabhi rod se. Apun rota apni ma ko yaad karta par woh kabhi nahi ai. Sometimes, I am left out with food eaten by rats. (My father sold me to a man, when I was very small. That person beat me. I daily begged and gave that money to him. If any day I earn less money than he beat me more with belts, iron rod. I cried for my mother but she never came.)”
Swara is just caressing his hairs…
Sanskaar: “Woh bola, apun k baap k mai nazayas aulad hu. Apun k ma baap ko mai kabhi nahi chaheyeh tha. Agar apun waha se bhagta nahi to woh Apun k hath pao kat k… (He said, I’m illegitimate child of my father. My parents never wanted me. If I wasn’t ran from there, then he would definitely cut my hands,legs…)”
His voice chocked before completing his words he hugged her. He just cried as much as he wants. She can feel his pain, she wants to give my support but still remains quite.
Sanskaar: “Aaj apun se ake bolta h k woh mera baap h… Tu bol kya apun chala jaye uske pass. Jo admi apun ko marne k lie chodh gaya… Woh Ram Parsad Maheshwari. (Today he came to me and said that he is my father. You tell shall I go with him… The person who left me to die. That Ram Parsad Maheshwari.)”
Swara’s gets shocked that, Sanskaar is Ram’s son.
Sanskaar: “Apun k Bus Shona h, aur apun ko kuch nahi chaheyeh… Na ma na koi baap. (I only want my Swara, neither mother not father.)”
Swara(in mind): “I can’t imagine the pain he go through… It was not his fault he was just a child. How could that Ram Parsad Maheshwari? to do this with my Sanskaar? I’ll not leave him.”
Sanskaar: “Aaj apun ko tere pass rehna h, apun ko chodh k mt Jana… (Today I want to stay with you, don’t leave me.)”
He sleeps crying and Swara is just admiring him, his cheeks still carrying the marks of tears. She second time saw him so much broken… She also gave him pain, she neglected his love. But he always determined to get her. His heart is pure though his hand is smudged with blood of people, but this society forced him to do so. This night is filled with pain. He starved for the love of parents, but now she became his life.
Next day?
Swara is sleeping in completely uncomfortable position, her head is in support of wall. She slept in sitting position because didn’t want to disturb him. Lucky comes to wake Swara, but stops seeing them. They way Sanskaar sleeping on her lap holding her hand. He clicks their pic.
Lucky: “Bhabhi…”
Swara wakes up.
Lucky: “Bhai will wake up soon, you come take breakfast.”
Swara: “You go, I’ll eat later. And one good news for you.”
Lucky: “Are you going to marry Bhai?.”
Swara(smiles): “No, I thought to tell you yesterday but forgot. Today we got date for your and Kavita’s marriage…”
Lucky: “Oh…”
Swara: “Aren’t you happy?”
Lucky: “I have to go…”
He leaves?. Swara covers her face in veil. Sanskaar wakes up, stretching his arms and hugs Swara tightly.
Sanskaar: “Good wala morning to Shona?.”
Swara (smiles): “Look he love Shona not Roja???.”
Then Sanskaar realises that he was teasing Swara.
Sanskaar: “Arey Roja tu… (Roja you.)”
He gets up and goes inside bathroom and takes out a kit. He holds her hand and takes her on terrace. He sits on chair.
Sanskaar: “Apun k dadhi badh gai h… To aj tu apun k shaving karegi. (My beard grown up, so today you will do my shaving.)”
Swara nodes her head in yes. She makes paste and about to apply on his cheeks but he pulls her and she lands on his lap.
Sanskaar: “Aab laga, apun k pass rahegi to apun ko acha lagega. (Now apply it. If you stay near me then I’ll feel good.)”
Swara applies shaving cream, but naughty Sanskaar can’t stay without teasing her. He started caressing her waist and intensionally pulls more towards him. She is trying to avoid this, and tries to comes out of his grip but he is not allowing her.
Sanskaar(huskily): “Why you always cover your beautiful face inside the veil.”
Swara eyes are filled with tear?.
Swara (in mind): “Why he is doing this, if he love me than how can he do this with Roja? I’m not liking his touch I’m feeling disgusting??.”
Sanskaar: “Tu apun k itne pass h, (he caress her lips.) Apun tujeh kiss krne k man kr raha h!. (U are so close to me, I just wanna kiss you.)”
He moves towards her but she jerks him and slaps him. She starts crying.
Sanskaar: “Apun to majak kr raha h Shona tu to mat. (I was joking, you don’t cry Swara.)”
He removes her veil and wipes her tears. She beats him with her little hands and he hugs her.
Swara(cries): “You are so bad, mean. You played with my feelings. You intensionally hurt me.”
Sanskaar: “Nahi, apun to bus kiss krna cha raha tha?. (No, I just wanted a kiss.)”
Swara (sobs): “From whom?”
Sanskaar: “Roja se?.”
Swara: “I’ll kill you…”
Sanskaar: “Apun ko Mar degi to shadi kise karegi. (If you will kill me, then to whom you will marry.)”
Swara: “With your ghost?.”
Sanskaar pulls her: “Ab apna adhura kaam pura kare?. (Now let’s complete our incomplete work.)”
Swara (blushes ?): “I can’t kiss you, anyone can come here.”
Sanskaar: “Apun to shaving k bat kr raha tha, par?. (I was talking about shaving but u.)”
Swara hides her face in his chest. Sanskaar kisses on her forehead. She cleans the shaving cream from his cheeks.
Sanskaar: “Apun kaisa lg raha h. (How’s I’m looking?)”
Swara pulls his cheeks: “Too cute my Sanku?.”
Sanskaar: “Ab Apun k kiss?. (Now my kiss.)”
Swara: “But Sanskaar I…”
Sanskaar without warning captures her lips. He little lifts her to match up his height. His both the hand roaming on her waist and giving her support. She too reciprocates with equal passion…
After that Lucky and Sanskaar leaves for work.
Dida’s home.
Shekhar: “Shomi, I called pandit ji today.”
Shomi: “Why?”
Shekhar: “You forgot about Swara and Sahil’s marriage.”
Dida(shouts): “What ??”
Shekhar: “Why are shock ma? They are made for each other and I’m just a way to meet them.”
Dida: “No Shekhar, Shona don’t love Sahil. Don’t take any decision in hurry.”
Shekhar: “She is my daughter and she has to marry Sahil at any cost?.”
He goes out of house. Shekhar calls Sahil.
Sahil: “Why this idiot is calling me??”
Sahil (picks the call): “Baba?, I’m orphan. Ram Maheshwari threw me out of his house.”
He tells him everything.
Shekhar: “You don’t worry, you are still my son and you can get a good job soon. Take care beta.”
He disconnects the call.
Sahil: “Huh?, I thought he will give me money?. I wasted my time now I have to go for new job.”
Evening in Sanskaar’s home.
Lucky: “Kavita this dress for you. I hope you don’t have any problem in wearing saree.”
Kavita: “You first time bought something for me. I’ll surely like it.”
Lucky: “Swara bhabhi will help you and I kept fruits for you in table before leaving for court. Baby must be hungry.”
Kavita: “Okay.”
Lucky leaves. Swara helps Kavita in wearing saree. Later she peels fruits.
Swara: “Lucky is very responsible father. He cares for baby a lot.”
Kavita: “Yes, he is God for me. Who else except someone else baby?”
Swara: “What?? Lucky is not father of this baby. Then who?”
Kavita: “Sahil… That was my mistake.” Kavita tells her truth.
Swara: “He is such a evil???. Because of him I slapped my Sanskaar. He is such a lair.”
Kavita: “Leave it. Now new life is waiting for me.”
They talk with each other.
Dominos?.
Sahil: “What is this yarr?. I became pizza boy?.”
Customer: “Sir my pizza.”
Sahil: “Here?.”
Customer: “Hey you call this pizza?, it’s yuk like your face?.”
Sahil: “What is the problem in it?”
Customer: “I ordered onion pizza not capsicum.”
Sahil: “Sorry sir.”
He leaves.
Sahil: “I had a hotel but now I became begger????.”
He gets a call.
Girl: “Dominos…”
Sahil: “Hello, mam what can I do for you?”
Girl: “I want four corn, mushroom pizza with extra cheez… Get it by 5pm at local coat Kolkata.”
Sahil: “Mam your name? And phone no.”
Girl: “My name is Roja, and my no is ….”
Sanskaar’s home.
Swara is getting ready. Sanskaar hugs her from back.
Sanskaar: “Aaj apun dono bhi shadi kr le. (Today, shall we marry?)”
Swara: “No, first my MA and baba will agree for this marriage then we will marry.”
Sanskaar: “Par kyu?? Tu apne baba se bol k tujeh apun k sath rehna h. (You tell your father that you want to live with me.)”
Swara: “You were Rowdy, he is little angry with you. My parents is my life. Whatever their final decision I’ll accept.”
Sanskaar: “Agar woh nahi mana. (If he will not agree then?)”
Swara: “Then, I can’t disobey him.”
Sanskaar hugs her tightly.: “Nahi, apun tujeh apne se dur nahi jane dega, apun tera kidnap kr lega?. Aur us Shekhar ko nahi chodhunga. (No, I’ll not let you go away from me. I’ll kidnap you and that Shekhar I’ll not leave me.)”
His grip is hurting her.
Swara: “Sanskaar, it’s hurting me. I love you. I’ll not leave you. Please don’t get angry.”
Sanskaar: “Promise kr.”
Swara: “I promise. (He breaks hug. Swara kiss on his cheek.) Now promise you will control your anger. This time you need to focus on work, my baba loves me a lot and he will definitely accept you.”
Sanskaar: “Apun tere lieyh kuch bhi karega. I lobe you. (I can do anything for you. I love you.)”
Swara: “It’s Love not Lobe?. Now come we are getting late.”
They leaves.
Registrar office.
Lawyer: “So you are Kavita and Laksh. Sign here.”
They signs on marriage certificate and exchange Garland.
Sanskaar: “Aaj to party???. (Yepii party.)”
Sanskaar is very happy, he is clapping for them. But Swara is little tense.
Swara(in mind): “What can I do? Sanskaar anger?… It can leads problem. I need to be near him. I’ll try my best so that he will control his anger.”
Sanskaar: “Shona kaha khoi h. (Swara where are you lost.)”
Swara: “Woh, I ordered pizza.”
Sahil: “Here is your order, madam Roja…”
His words lefts incomplete when he see the scene before his eyes. Swasan is standing before him but something else hurt him. Kavita and Lucky.
Registrar: “So now I declare you husband and wife. Laksh and Kavita.”
Sanskaar is about to beat Sahil but Swara holds his hand. She takes pizza and gives him money. Kavita see him.
Kavita: “Lucky I bought vermilion and mangalsutra.”
Lucky fills her mang and makes her wear mangalsutra.
Sahil (in mind): “Huh?, stupid Lucky is accepting my baby and married this useless girl.”
Swara: “Go from here your work is done.”
Kavita(gives Sahil money): “Your tip pizza boy?.”
Sahil leaves from there but on the way only their marriage scene is coming before his eyes. When Lucky filled his hairline with vermilion.
Sahil: “To be true I don’t feel good seeing them together. Why I’m hurt?? Don’t know what is happening. Leave that Sahil, u got good tip?.”
Sahil looks towards money.
Sahil: “It’s felt like I got begged money. I’m feeling like begger. Money is money… Money is life. Wait wait what Swara is doing there? I’ll inform this to Shekhar uncle.”
He leaves.
Durgaparsad’s home.
Sahil: “Uncle, you are good cook. Food is tasty.”
DP: “Anapurna also liked my food prepared by me.”
Sahil: “Anapurna who?”
DP: “My wife. She left me when Ragini was little?.”
Sahil: “Uncle why are you crying? She died.”
DP: “You won’t understand, I love her a lot. She is gave me my beautiful daughter. My Ragini.”
Sahil: “Uncle I can’t believe that girl don’t even respect you but you are saying you are thankful to your wife for giving her?.”
DP: “When you will become father thn you will realise. (He shows him Anapurna pic.) Anapurna and Ragini.”
Sahil: “But it’s only aunty pic where is Ragini.”
DP points on her tummy: “See, enough for today now you go sleep.”
Sahil recalls the scene of court then he realises her baby bump… It was very less but noticeable.
Sahil: “My baby.”
DP: “Your baby?”
Sahil: “Nothing, uncle I’m feeling sleepy.”
He leaves…
Sanskaar’s home.
Swara is decorating the Lucky’s room.
Sanskaar: “Tu room ku saja rahe h. (Why are you decorating room.)”
Swara: “They are starting their new life, so I want their new life will be beautiful like flowers.”
Sanskaar: “Apun bhi apni suhagrat pe bhi esi ful sajayega. (I’ll also decorate our room on our first night.)”
Swara(blushes?): “Sanskaar, you go sleep.”
Sanskaar: “Apun tere bina kaise soyega?. (How can i sleep without you?)”
Swara: “Don’t behave like little boy?, go and sleep. I have to do lots of work.”
Sanskaar lifts her in his arms…
Swara: “Sanskaar, all are in home…”
Sanskaar: “To apun kya kare. (So what??)”
Lucky and Kavita smiles seeing them. Then they go to their room.
Lucky: “Kavita go change your clothes, and be comfortable I’ll sleep in couch.”
Kavita: “I trust you Lucky.”
Lucky: “No I’m saying for baby safety, in sleep may be my hands harm him.”
Kavita: “Okay, and Lucky my dresses became little tight so…”
Lucky: “I’ll bring new one for now. Now Good Night.”
They sleep.
Sahil’s room.
Sahil is looking towards Kavita’s pic. He is remembering, their moments when they became one. How he rejected her love? He himself called his son dirt?. Then Kavita and Lucky’s marriage, he filled vermilion in her hairline.
Sahil: “No no I can’t be wrong. But don’t know till the time I saw Kavita and Laksh in registrar office I’m not feeling good?.”
A little girl holds his hand.: “Papa…” Sahil smikes but She disappears. He again becomes sad?.
Sahil: “This baby,wife love not for me?. But I want to hold my daughter. I want Kavita to give birth to a girl. (He holds his head.) Uff this all things is just illusion sleep Sahil.”
He covers himself inside duvet.
Ram’s home?
Ram: “Sujju when Sanskaar will come here?”
Sujata: “Soon, my daughter in law will bring him here. Ram ji don’t be sad.”
Ram: “I can’t wait Sujju. First I was away from you now my son.”
Sujata: “Everything will be alright soon. We are together Ram, soon my son and my DIL will be with us.”
Just then they hear someone shouting outside, he is Shekhar. Ram and Sujata go outside.
Ram: “What happened?”
Sujata: “Shekhar ji, everything OK. Come inside.”
Shekhar: “Keep your mouth shut, evil lady.”
Ram: “Mind your language Shekhar?, u don’t know me.”
Shekhar: “You both are same, I just came to say you both one thing. I don’t care whether Sahil is rich or poor. He will marry to my daughter Swara.”
Ram: “My son loves her and she will marry Sanskaar.”
Shekhar: “I’m not greedy. I don’t want any Rowdy as my son in law, who already has illegitimate relation with other women.”
Ram(grabs his collar): “How dare to Shekhar Gadodia????
Shekhar: “Huh?, that Kavita is having Sanskaar’s child. Like mother like son.”
Ram punches Shekhar. Sujata tries to stop the fight but she failed.
Shekhar: “My daughter truly loves Sahil. So keep your womanizer son away from her. Like puppy is roaming around my son.”
Ram: “And your so called daughter became maid in my son’s home. Without any relation you daughter is living with my son. My son was Riwdy but this you taught to your daughter.”
Sujata(shouts): “Ram?, his could you say this rubbish about my DIL?”
Ram: “But he started, he pointed finger on you and our son. Her daughter is also roaming around my son.”
Shekhar: “Lair, my daughter is in hoogly. What you think I’ll suspect my daughter? Cheap family. Father was having a daughter Ragini without marriage, Rowdy son. And forget about this Sujata. You think I’ll give my daughter to you.”
Ram: “Now if your daughter will beg to him then also I’ll not let my son to marry her. She is doing right on of a maid. That’s her real place in my son’s life.”
Sujata slaps Ram.
Sujata: “This is your problem, never listen to me. Ram how could you? She like my daughter.”
Shekhar: “Let’s me prove you both wrong.”
He calls hoogly but all says that Swara is not there. Shekhar goes to Sanskaar’s home. Ram and Sujata too follows him.
Sanskaar’s home.
SwaSan enter inside the room… Sanskaar removes his shirt.
Swara: “What happened… Why you removed your shirt?”
Sanskaar: “Roja Apun ko massage dena bhul gai?. (Roja forgot to give me massage.)”
Swara: “But Roja is not here, then who will give you massage.”
Sanskaar: “Apun k Shona aur kon. (My Swara who else?.)”
Swara: “But Sanskaar before marriage it’s not good to stay in same room. It’s against my ethics.”
She turns to leave but Sanskaar holds her hand.
Sanskaar: “Apun k lie ethic is you, love is you. Everything is you…”
Swara hugs him. After massage SwaSan lay down on bed. Sanskaar takes Swara in his arms.
Swara: “Lucky and Kavita is happy after marriage, Sanskaar when will we get married.”
Sanskaar: “Apun k man to abhi shadi krne k h. (I want to marry you now.)”
Swara: “Not now. Sanskaar did you thought about future, I mean you can’t work as labour throughout this life.”
Sanskaar: “Apun ne aur Lucky ne ek shop buy k h. We will soon start our new business.”
Swara: “Too good, Sanskaar next I’m leaving.”
Sanskaar: “Kyu, apun k pass reh na. (Why, stay with me please)”
Swara: “I lied to baba. I cannot stay together like this for long time, Sanskaar I came here because I know to change yourself is little difficult for you but now I know you will do everything fine. And I’ll convince baba about our relation.”
Sanskaar: “Apun tujeh bahut miss karega. (I’ll miss a lot.)”
Swara: “Me too, but this week I’m here. You need to learn to control your anger.”
They share a sweet kiss. She keeps her head on his chest.
Swara: “Good Night.”
Swasan sleeps.
Here Shekhar knocks the door, Lucky opens it.
Lucky: “Uncle you.”
Shekhar pushes him a side then Lucky see Ram and Sujata also coming. Lucky understands and he goes to stop Shekhar but he us late. Shekhar pushes the door and see SwaSan sleeping in hugging each other. Swara is peacefully sleeping on bare chest of Sanskaar. His blood boils?.
Shekhar (shouts): “SWARA….”
