A girl, dressed in pink kurti and white leggings, and in her early 20s was running in the office as if she was really late for something.
Girl: Krishnaji, now that Mr. Khadoos will eat me alive. I am 3rd time late this week. I hope he didn’t come. I hope his car tire got punctured… I hope his stomach is upset and is sitting in the toilet of his mansion. God ji he shouldn’t be in the office before me otherwise I am gone.
The girl kept talking and running… she didn’t see a man, well dressed in a black tuxedo with fair complexion. She dashed with him and fell down on the
Girl (without seeing the man… started collecting her things): Oh god, I am already late and I had to dash with you only. That kadhoos Dracula will be burning in anger… uff… I think he eats red chili every morning, that’s why he is always red in anger. huh!
Man (sternly and angrily): Ms. Bose.
Swara widens her eyes instantly as she hears her name from the voice owner. She recognizes this voice really well as it has become nightmares for her…. not just for her but also for other employees. All the employees give pitiful look to swara as they what is coming next… well they are habituated to it as every day their boss is scolding swara got some or other reason.
Swara looked up and gulped seeing those eyes spitting fires at her. The man was none other than her Hitler, arrogant, Dracula boss… Sanskar Maheshwari.
Swara stood up and grinned widely, “Good morning sir”
Sanskar: Firstly, you are 10 minutes late… secondly people say sorry for doing a mistake… not a good morning.
Swara: Ok… firstly, sorry sir…. secondly, I am late because the bus in which I travel was late.
The staff giggles seeing swara copying sanskar.
Sanskar (angrily): Ms. Bose, stop giving excuses… it will not work for me.
Swara: Excuse me, sir, you come to your office by traveling in your the latest model of BMW and I don’t have any car in which I will come. I have to walk to the bus stand and it takes 10 minutes to reach there. Then I have to wait for the bus by standing in the sun… being surrounded by pollution and so many people. When the bus comes, I have to struggle to get into the already overcrowded bus. (sadly pouts) I am already a nanhi si jaan…. do you know how difficult it is to balance myself when the bus stops with a jerk or when people push me. Then I have to shout loudly to ask the driver to stop the bus. Then another 10 minutes walk. (narrows her eyes) Why am I even telling to you? You will never understand, how much I struggle to come to your office on time. And you are saying that I am giving excuses.
The whole staff was giggling silently, looking at her drama.
Sanskar: Shut up Ms. Bose… just shut up… ugh… why the hell even I am talking to you?
Swara: Well… I don’t know, it’s your choice… I didn’t tell you to come and talk to me.
Sanskar (controlling his anger): Ms. Bose, into my cabin in 5 minutes with espresso and also with my schedule.
Saying this he goes away.
Swara (imitating sanskar): Ms. Bose, into my cabin in 5 minutes with espresso… (back to her normal tone) huh! he is becoming bitter gourd day by day by drinking that bitter kaali (black) coffee… yuck!
Saying this she enters his cabin. Sanskar was sitting in his leather chair and typing on his laptop with, as usual, a stern expression on his face. Swara went towards the coffee machine in a corner of the cabin. She poured the ‘the black coffee’ in the cup. Just then, an idea clicked in her mind. She smiled naughtily and put one spoon of sugar into the cup… as always she does it. She knows the consequences very well.
She goes towards him and hands him the espresso.
Sanskar (while doing his work): Thank you, Ms. Bose.
Saying this he took a sip. He looked at swara with jerk whereas she was looking at him innocently.
Sanskar (angrily): What the hell Ms. Bose, how many times do I have to tell you not to out sugar in espresso.
Swara: Sir, you know my answer… you are known as khadoos in your office and business world. So I mix always mix sugar in your black coffee so that you become little sweet.
Sanskar gets frustrated, “Ms. Bose… it is espresso, not black coffee. And sugar is not mixed in it as it tastes good without sugar.”
(guys…. I don’t know anything about espresso and how it tastes.)
Swara: What! how can it taste good without sugar… yuck!
Sanskar raises his one eyebrow, “Well then how about you taste the espresso first and then talk about espresso.”
Swara: No way!
Sanskar (smirks): So you don’t have the courage to taste it.
Swara narrows her eyes, “Excuse me Mr. Maheshwari, I am Swara Bose and I never lose… I will show you that I can drink that ‘black coffee.”
Sanskar: Go on.
Swara takes baby steps towards the coffee machine.
Swara (monologue): Oh god! Josh josh mein kaha diya but how will drink it. God, please help me.
Swara reached near the coffee machine and started making espresso. After few minutes, she poured it into the cup. She took the cup and brought it near her lips. She looked at it as if she is going to drink bitter gourd juice. She looked at sanskar with the corner of her eye who was already looking with one eyebrow raised. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes tightly and took a sip of it.
As soon as the liquid touched her tongue she spat the espresso from her mouth… onto sanskar’s shirt.
Swara widened her eyes and cupped her mouth. Sanskar was totally shocked due to the sudden attack on him. He then looked at swara with a death glare.
Swara (murmurs): Syappa! (to sanskar) I..I am so sorry sir… I didn’t really notice you. I am so sorry.
Sanskar (takes a deep sigh): and I was wondering… how come no mess happened in your presence… and it happened.
Swara: I said sorry Mr. Maheshwari and it is not my fault ok. I.. I knew that this black coffee will be very bitter but this much bitter. I feel that even bitter gourd is better than this. This is the reason you are always so rude and khadoos.
Sanskar (controlling his anger): Ms. Bose.. will you please shut up. Now go and bring my shirt from my personal room
Swara: Me!
Sanskar: Is there any other swara in this cabin… no then obviously it’s you.
Swara: But sir, you have never allowed anyone to enter that room as it has some of your really important files of contracts.
Sanskar: So you want me to go like this… Ms. Bose, I am permitting so go and bring it.
Swara nods quickly as she doesn’t want the volcano to burst. As she comes out of his cabin she sees a girl in her mid-20s coming towards her in modern clothes.
Swara rolls her eyes and murmurs, “Oh god… why did you make my day bad by showing this chikpi kav kav’s face.”
It was none other kavita, one of the sanskar’s business partner’s daughter who literally drools over sanskar. She also studied in the same college as sanskar therefore since college times she has a major crush on sanskar. She never liked swara as swara has always mocked her. Not because swara is rude, it is because kavita always scolds the employee who does a little mistake. She insults them, therefore, swara always saves them and mocks kavita. Kavita has never liked swara.
Kavita: Hey… where are you going? You should be with sanskar as you are his pa.
Swara: First of all… I have a good name… Swara and it is none of your business that where am I going. You don’t have to teach me about my job.
Saying this she passes kavita goes towards on of sanskar’s most trustworthy bodyguard.
Swara: Rohan… sir must have called you to give me his personal room’s key.
Rohan: Yes mam, (hands her the key) here.
Swara: Thank you
Swara goes away whereas kavita stood there while wondering, how come sanskar allowed swara to enter his personal room?
Kavita enters the cabin and she smirks naughtily as she sees sanskar opening his shirt buttons.
Kavita (huskily): Hi hottie
As sanskar heard a husky voice, he turned and saw kavita giving him a seductive smile. He immediately buttoned his shirt.
Sanskar: Kav..kavita you here.
Kavita: actually (comes closer to him and keeps her hand on his chest) I was passing by so thought why not to meet my friend.
Sanskar feels very awkward. He removes kavita’s hands.
Sanskar: Oh nice
Kavita: By the way… why did you permit your that pa to enter your personal room.
Sanskar: She went to bring my extra shirt from there. And I trust her enough to let her enter my personal room.
Kavita (gets jealous): Ohh… ok. Now I have to go.. bye.. and will see you tomorrow.
Sanskar (smiling professionally): Bye.
Kavita goes away from there immediately. On the way, she dashes with swara who was coming from opposite direction. The keys and shirt fell down from swara’s hand.
Kavita: I am sorry.
Saying this kavita immediately bent down with a smirk on her lips. She took the shirt and gave it to swara. Then she picked up the key and gave it to her.
Kavita: Sorry… bye.
Saying this she goes away living a shocked swara and shocked staff behind as for the first time they listened sorry from her mouth.
Swara (murmurs): Looks like God has finally put some brain in her dabba head.
Saying this she went towards rohan and handed him the keys. Then she went into sanskar’s cabin.
Swara (while entering the cabin): Sir, here is yourr…(she widened her eyes as she saw his all shirt buttons opened.) ahh! (she immediately turned around while eyes are closed) sir! can’t you wait?
Sanskar: No I can’t because I value my time… unlike you.
Swara frowns. In anger, she throws the shirt towards sanskar which landed on his face. This didn’t hurt his face but hurt his male ego as till now no has behaved with him like this. He literally ran towards her and pinned her to the wall. Whereas swara gasped in shock as she hit the wall and saw sanskar angrily staring at her.
Swara (shockingly): Sir!
Swara turned her face the other side as she saw his bare chest.
Sanskar (angrily): How dare you throw the shirt on my face?
Swara (with same intensity): Sir! first of all, you were standing in front of me with your shirt buttons opened. And for your kind information, I am a girl. So it is obvious that I will not see you like this. I thought that you might catch the shirt on time.
Sanskar: It’s waste talking to you.
Swara (grinning): The why do you even talk to me?
Sanskar looks into her eyes where he can find anger and something else which he can’t recognize. His eyes softened a little for a second, seeing her cute innocent eyes. He moved his gaze immediately and left swara.
Sanskar stepped backward.
Sanskar (raises his one eyebrow): Are you going to stand here and see me changing my shirt.
Swara narrows her eyes and said, “I am not shameless like that chipku chipkali”
Sanskar (confused): Chipku chipkali… who’s that
Swara: You don’t need to know (goes away while murmuring) pagal kothakar.
Sanskar heard her murmur and said, “What does that mean?”
Swara: Why should I tell you?
Saying this she goes away from the cabin
Sanskar: Uff! looks like I have to learn Bengali to know what does that pagal ko… whatever means.
Precap: Kavita accusing swara as the cheater…
