Chapter-26 Trying new.
Swara’s POV
“Woah…oh…oh…”I gasped as soon as I rest my back at the jacuzzi tub.
The bubbles were soothing my skin while I supported my neck on the rim of the tub.
This is a really awaited and worthy treat after all the drama about Ragini,Tanuj,Laksh,Ahaana, Dhruv,, Ragini’s parents, Tanuj’s parents,Kavita,Sans…
“… Sanskar?!”I shrieked bewildered after seeing his face upside down.
“Hi. Excuse me… it’ll be really convenient if you could shift.”he said dipping in the jacuzzi without even asking me. He sat next to me and spread out his legs.
“What a relief.”he commented and closed his eyes.
I sat there surprised by how easily he just came and ruined my peace. Even though it wasn’t for long until I noticed his well defined jaws which framed his pretty face,his lashes resting over his face peacefully. I wanted to run my hand over his locks which were scattered along his forehead when suddenly he spread his arms and kept one behind my neck.
I widened my eyes and started shifting instinctively. But he was quick enough to pull me tightly in his embrace from my shoulder.
“Aaahhhh!! What are you doing here?”I complained.
“What do you think am I doing Swara?”he mumbled still keeping his hold over me.
I stopped retorting and sat quietly.
This has been really a roller coaster ride. At one moment I thought I’m going to witness Ragini and Tanuj’s wedding until I came to know about Laksh and Ragini’s secret romance. How Prateek and Sanskar suddenly started showing their bidding interest in me. Speaking about Ragini I’m happy she finally spoke her mind out after Tanuj revealing about him and Ahaana. Ragini and Laksh won’t be rushing into anything right now.
They wanted to take things slow.
Well good for them.
Here I am on my extended holidays on the great Andaman islands. Only a few of the guests had left the hotel. I think we love the ambiance a bit too much. Many of us were mainly here because we needed a break from our hectic schedules. Vani,Karan,Nandini,Ajay,Manik,
Ragini,Laksh,Prateek, Sanskar everyone was still here.Mostly the elders and Tanuj’s and Ragini’s family had left.
There were many unanswered questions in my mind.
I wonder why is Sanskar still lurking around here. Why didn’t Kavita stay here with Sanskar?
Why was Sanskar frequently roaming around with me even if he knows Kavita doesn’t appreciate all this?
Have they broken up? And that too all because of me? No they couldn’t! It was all so new for me.
‘Stop giving yourself such importance Swara.’ I wondered.
Once again I started staring the form next to me. Napping peaceful and holding onto me securely.
“Are you done ogling me?” Sanskar spoke as he adjusted his neck.
A sudden blush suddenly crept into my cheeks and I started looking in every direction but him.
“Have you thought over it?” he asked supporting his face on his palm while facing me.
“Thought about what?” I acted swiftly even though I knew very well what he was talking about. He wanted to know his answer once he proposed me in the pool. I remembered how he stole a kiss and I walked out too embarrassed to say anything.
“Should I remind you? I didn’t expect you to forget it that soon.”he said with an evident smirk forming over his face.
“Uh?…”I started shifting nervously only to be caught by him again.
“I don’t know whether your words are true or not. At one moment you’re with Kavita and then the other you’re here goofing around with me. If you can get bored from Kavita then you will definitely get bored with me.” I confessed my heart out.
Yes this was the truth, I wasn’t sure whether the Sanskar in front of me was the same as my teenage classmate who used to play around with every girl in sight. I didn’t want to be one of those girls who roamed around with broken heart after a temporary relationship. He kept staring me as if I had sprouted two heads.
“I’ve broke up with Kavita.”he stated.
“Well that’s exactly my point. Why did you guys break up? You may have grown bored of her who knows I will eventually face the same?” I said and instantly regretted it. His eyes dropped low and now he wasn’t carrying the playful smirk he was known for. He was visibly hurt.
“How low do you think about me exactly?” he said leaving me and thrusting his hands against the water. He wiped his face getting up to leave.
I was still sitting and wondering how to deal with the mess I just made.
“I think I should sleep.”

I fled to my room so as to execute my day out with myself. I had planned to wander around the islands and take in some great sceneries. My prior plans were to enjoy and let go of the stressed life I had back in Delhi.
I bathed cleanly with my favourite soaps and shampoos. I smelled like fresh lemons and strawberries.
Perfect.
I changed into a striped T-shirt dress with white slip-ons. Taking all the necessary items in my bag I was good to go.”Finally some good food.”I murmured as I entered the dining area. Everyone was sitting around and chatting.
“Swara!…here.” shouted Vani stretching her hands and waving at me.
I joined Vani,Karan and Ragini with two vacant seats on my right. After a while of us laughing and chattering I noticed Prateek and Sanskar entering the room one after the another.
Prateek waved at me which I willingly returned. Sanskar was fast enough to make it first to the table when suddenly his phone rang. He left the room and instead Prateek sat beside me.
“What are your plans for today?” He asked serving himself some oatmeal crackers.
“A pretty little day out with myself.” I said scooping out yogurt while munching the berries.
“I think you should have a company.”he said now advancing his spoon towards my yogurt.
I slapped his hands,”Why? Do you want to hangout with me?”
“Ah! I wish I could but I’m a bit busy. You could take someone else.” he said directing his eyes to the vacant seats beside him.
“I don’t know.” I squeaked.
“He is over Kavita and now he wants to be with you. Atleast give him a chance Swara. You’ll never know unless you give it a try.”he requested.
“Excuse me!” I called out to one of the waiters,” could you please pack some breakfast? I think I’ll need it later.”

Sanskar’s POV
Once I was done with my phone call I opted going to the porch outside the dining room.I knew I was being inconsiderate but I couldn’t stand even a single sight of Prateek with Swara. Why was she always so comfortable with him? Do I scare her to death or something? She thinks my feeling are nothing but infatuation. I wasn’t just playing around with her.
“What are you looking for?” said Swara imitating my position by the porch and then shading her eyes from her hands.
I looked by her side. She was looking really cute in whatever she was wearing. I am really bad with the nomenclature of the clothing.
Then she faced me,her hands still shading her eyes. “I was looking for you.”she said smiling and making my fury melt. Can she ever stop being this cute? I felt myself losing out a smile at her cute tricks.
I still managed to keep a straight face and completely faced her with my hands in my pockets. She was still standing in the same position staring me curiously. I started advancing towards her and she automatically started stepping back. I didn’t stop until her back touched the nearest wall. I crouched and blocked her by keeping both my hands over the wall while she was trapped in between. She gulped nervously while still being in the same position. I started decreasing the distance between our faces while staring her intently. When in the same time and in the spur of moment she produced a brown paper packet in front of my face.
“You may eat this on our way. I mean would you like to hangout with me for a while?” She asked nervously biting her lips while no longer shading her eyes. “I know you haven’t done your breakfast. I bought you some if you’d like to eat on the way…”
I held the packet and took out a cracker. I started making my way towards the parking and crunching the crackers along.
“Are you coming?”she tried confirming.
I tossed the car keys to her,”You’ll drive.”
