The recent news reports about Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Dilip Joshi’s house being under threat have got his fans and well-wishers worried. According to the reports, the Nagpur Control Room received a call that the actor’s residence at Shivaji Park was surrounded by men who were in possession of weapons and guns.
In a recent interview, the actor talked about it and denied the news reports calling it ‘fake’. Dilip shared that he is totally unaware of where this news started doing the rounds. He made it clear that the news was fake and nothing of this sort happened.
Dilip, who essays the role of Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah also revealed how at first he was worried about the news, but then he looked at the positive side of things. Since the news came out, he has been receiving numerous calls and everyone was calling to ask him about his well-being. The senior actor revealed that many of his old friends and extended family called up to check on him.
The positive side of the story was that it felt good catching up with his friends and well-wishers. The news also made him realize how much people love him and that they were bothered about him and his family.
