Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah marks glorious 15 years with a special episode featuring actor Meghan Jadhav as Lord Krishna
Indian television’s beloved sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, celebrates a remarkable milestone as it completes 15 successful years on July 28. To honor this momentous occasion, the TMKOC team has prepared an hour-long episode filled with surprises for their cherished audience. One such exciting surprise is actor Meghan Jadhav’s special appearance as Lord Krishna.
Meghan talked about it in a recent interview and expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s truly exhilarating to be part of the longest-running show in the history of Indian television. When they approached me to reprise the role of Lord Krishna in their show, I had no hesitation and immediately accepted the offer, despite my commitments to the Marathi TV show called Rang Mazha Vegla. Thankfully, my team cooperated and adjusted my schedule to make it happen.”
Although Meghan had been trying to collaborate with the TMKOC team for a while, this special occasion aligned perfectly for him to finally join the show. Playing Lord Krishna holds a significant place in his career, as it was his portrayal of Krishna in the 2009 TV show, Jai Shri Krishna, that brought him immense fame and recognition. Last year, he had another opportunity to portray the divine character in a show called Aanandiba Aur Emily, and now, his appearance in the 15-year celebration episode of TMKOC marks his third outing as Krishna.
Meghan also shares his joy in working with seasoned actor Dilip Joshi, who has become a legendary figure through his iconic character on the show. “Meeting Dilip ji was a warm and delightful experience. His dedication to making people laugh even after all these years is truly inspiring, and that passion is evident in the entire cast,” gushes the excited actor.
As the audience eagerly awaits the grand celebration episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Meghan’s portrayal of Lord Krishna is sure to add a divine touch to the already beloved sitcom, making this milestone anniversary even more memorable for fans and viewers alike.
