Actor Munmun Dutta is in news for a while owing to the rumors of her arrest in the casteist slur case. The reports also suggested that the actress was held by Haryana police and later released on a bail.
In a recent interview, Munmun reacted to the rumors and shared that she was given bail on Friday which was before she was called for interrogation on Feb 7. She also mentioned that the police were rather polite during the two-and-a-half-hour-long interrogation. The actress also shared that she was ‘deeply upset’ about the rumors of her arrest.
For the unversed, Dutta was charged with making derogatory remarks against the Scheduled Caste community during one of her YouTube videos. Though Munmun issued an apology on all her social media accounts, an FIR was still filed by Rajat Kalsan, convenor of the National Alliance for Dalit Human Rights.
