Tanushree Dutta Takes Legal Action, Files FIR Against Rakhi Sawant for Damaging Career and Image
In a significant move, Tanushree Dutta has opted for legal recourse against Rakhi Sawant, citing the deliberate harm caused to her image and career in the entertainment industry. Tanushree visited the Oshiwara Police Station to file an FIR against Rakhi Sawant, emphasizing the psychological trauma inflicted during the Me Too Movement in 2018.
Addressing the media, Tanushree stated, “I have filed an FIR against Rakhi Sawant for the psychological trauma she caused in 2018 during the Me Too Movement. The FIR includes multiple penal codes based on various reasons, documenting every statement she made against me. The legal process has commenced, and action will be taken soon. I have provided them with the entire background.”
Tanushree recounted the circumstances, explaining, “During the film ‘Horn Ok Please,’ Rakhi was initially replaced with me, but after the Nana Patekar controversy, they brought Rakhi back. It was a planned strategy to garner publicity for the film using my name. They bounced all my cheques, and Rakhi was complicit in this scheme.”
Detailing the emotional toll, Tanushree shared, “I endured significant emotional and psychological trauma because of Rakhi. Her derogatory remarks affected my personal life, hindering my marriage. Rakhi’s incessant harassment persisted for a long time.”
Responding to queries about the timing of the FIR, Tanushree clarified, “I filed a complaint against Nana Patekar in 2008 and 2018. Rakhi’s cheap videos and false allegations in 2018 left me unwell. Now that I have the opportunity, I will ensure Rakhi faces consequences for her actions. I admit, her aggression was challenging to handle in the past, but not anymore.”
In a related development, Adil Khan Durrani and Tanushree Dutta highlighted Rakhi Sawant’s past cases, alleging her responsibility for two boys’ suicides, a case that persisted for four years.
Expressing the impact of Rakhi’s actions, Tanushree lamented, “She completely ruined my industry image. Her false allegations compelled me to seek work in the US. It’s crucial for people to be aware and take decisive actions against individuals like Rakhi, who disrupted my flourishing career.”
Tanushree also labeled Rakhi as a “pathological liar,” asserting her tendency to fabricate falsehoods consistently, affecting numerous individuals.
