Everyone claps in the changing room.
Amol greets everyone.
Tara says I saw this show stealthily in Satara last year while this year, I am right here at the show. I fight so much with Bappa but see where he brought me! I wont fight so much from now onwards.
Amol says the entire season will be a live telecast. You will see the performances live from your home. You need talent and temperament for this. He introduces all the 3 judges – Shrilekha, MK and Mishika Verma. Shrilekha gives a small performance on Kahna So Ja Zara. MK and Mishika join her on stage. Tara says she danced so well. It was amazing! Amol hands a mike to each judge. Everyone claps for the judges. They all have a little friendly chat. Shrilekha tells the contestants that there is no substitute for talent, hard
The contestants get tensed after hearing the viewpoints of the judges. They try their best to uplift their mood. Arjun recalls his mother turning emotional in the morning. He wipes her tears. She tells him that they are tears of happiness but he tells her to smile out of happiness. I wont leave till the time you smile. She blesses him. Flashback ends. Arjun gets determined.
Amol says we will give contestants a chance to settle in a little in the first episode but Shrilekha says first elimination will happen today itself. Tara and all the contestants get tensed. Shrilekha says one contestant will have to leave after this round. Tara says Tai will not be able to do western dance on a Bollywood song ever. She will return home today itself?
MK says I am speechless. Shrilekha jokes that there is something which can silence him. Everyone smiles.
The contestants panic thinking they weren’t made aware of this in advance. They start bickering over their dance. Divya thinks she thought grand premiere will be an easygoing but this tension isn’t leaving me. Saira encourages Gurpreet to be positive. Arjun thinks of how his mother slogs all the time yet people taunt her all the time. I wont even budge from here Aai. Don’t worry.
Bedane gets up to call Sachin but Sarita tells him to sit down. He will come. Sachin is pacing outside worriedly.
Amol says a special performance will be done by the winner of Dancer No. 1 Season 6, Sanam. This is a surprise for all the newcomers. Sanam dances on Aas Paas Khuda song. Tara compliments his dance. No one has a chance before him! It seems as if 4 people are dancing instead. It is good that he isn’t a part of this season or everyone would have been out of the show in no time!
Amol thanks Sanam for the dance. Shrilekha and MK praise Sanam’s performance.
Deepak gives a brilliant performance.
Sanam collides with Tara. I am so sorry. Did you get hurt? She looks at him cutely. Please don’t apologize. It was my mistake. He says I wasn’t looking. She compliments him on his dance. I am nothing in front of you! He says no one becomes great by dancing. There are a lot of better, talented dancers than me. I danced diligently and from my heart. Luckily I won but I still consider myself a student. She looks at him in disbelief. Are you still learning? He nods. My life will end the day I will stop learning. Look around you, there is so much to learn. She says you must be dancing on the beats since your childhood. He denies. I feel like running away from dance sometimes but then my heart tells me that I will die the day my dance stops. Tara says your words can ease anyone’s mind. Tai would have felt better if she had heard you. She is very worried right now. I want to help her. Sanam says you are helping her already. He blows some papers on her face. How did you do it? He tells her to follow her heart and keep practising. Don’t stop ever. She says my Baba says the same thing. He asks her name. I was exactly like you when I had come here. Now that you are here, just focus on practise! He pats her cheek cutely and leaves. She gets excited but a crew member tells her to go to cloak room. Keep everyone / everything ready as per RO. Tara heads to the cloak room. Tai would have felt so better she had a word with Sanam. She cannot do anything except Kathak. She recalls RD telling her to talk to her senior when she had tried to talk to him. She thinks to speak to Venky.
Precap: Divya performs on her song. Shrilekha points out that the performance was great but there was no personal touch from your end. This wasn’t an up to the mark kind of performance. Divya picks up Tara’s phone. After such a bad performance, I can still turn the game around through her phone. MK’s phone beeps with a text during the show. Tara looks at Ankit as he writes on a white board. She reads it. I know you are here. I am going to tell everyone about you now.
