Hi friends, i am back with the update. Two updates in a day, surprised na? Anyway, i want to tell you that i am going to update every other day till the navratris as i get less time to be online in those days.
Chapter-37
A decision
Omkara went to the garden area and lay down there on grass staring at the night sky which is not filled with stars and started thinking about the feelings he is developing recently, he can’t run away from them now, he need to accept his feelings then only he can find some solution, he thought.
‘I know that I like Ishanya but why am I being upset seeing her and Shivaay’s closeness? I should be happy that she is being friendly with my brothers but I am feeling upset and don’t even know the reason for this!! I can’t believe that I am getting angry on my bro, my Shivaay!’ he thought and decided to keep his emotions in control and try not to get upset by their closeness.
He sat up and when the flash of Ishanya taking pills crossed his mind. ‘Why did I felt like I am having an attack when she is having it?? When did I start liking her so much that her pain is becoming my pain?? I think I should rethink about my feelings about her, I don’t even know what does she think of me and on top of it Shivaay’s closeness with her. I should seriously rethink about my feelings.’ He thought to himself.
“Now, I won’t go near Ishanya anymore. I will wait for her to come close to me. She may take time, but she will surely come to me I can feel it and I will wait for her.” He said to himself
Ishanya lay down on the bed after having the milk brought by Annika. She was not sleeping but staring at the ceiling lost in thoughts.
‘Had I seen the person clearly? Is he the same person or am I having illusions again? Why this happens to me every time? Whenever I try to be happy, my past comes back to haunt me again. Do I have to live my life like this only? Can’t I live a day without my past?’ she thought to herself and closed her eyes to let the tears flow.
‘What am I thinking? When I have accepted to live my life with past long back, why am I thinking like this now? The friendship with these O’bros’ is making me want to live life again like I want, but that cannot be possible. I have to control my feelings. Why should I cry over the split milk? I should remember what I am.’ she thought and determined to not let go of her limitation by being carried away by O’bros’ friendship like this.
‘I have to think about that person, is he really there or not? It cannot be my illusion as I wasn’t thinking about all this at that time and he came for tia which means he is her brother, why would I imagine tia’s brother as him?’ She thought and sat on the bed and took her phone to call someone but suddenly there was a knock on the door.
“Yes” she said thinking about it as some helper. Shivaay opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed and entered inside.
“Shivaay, you?” she asked trying to get up from the bed but got failed as her head was still spinning.
“Relax, lay down Ishanya, why are you trying to get up?” he said coming towards her and sat near the bed post.
He took her palm in his hands and asked, “How are you feeling now?”
“I am fine.” She replied.
“How did you get the attack again? Had you skipped taking your medicines or something happened? Do tell me, I’ll take care of it.” He asked her.
“Nothing Shivaay, I don’t know the reason, I just got difficulty in breathing suddenly.” She replied not telling him the real reason.
“After going back, you visit the doctor, it’s not good to have attacks like this.” He said to her.
“I will.” She replied.
Omkara saw them hand in hand as he was passing by there. He just looked at them for a second and crossed them before they notice him. He remembered how she asked him to not touch when she was having the panic attack and now Shivaay holding her hand. He got upset but then brushed it off thinking about his decision.
“Good, now take rest.” Shivaay said and left her hand standing up.
“Good night.” She said and he wished her same and left from there closing the door.
After Shivaay left she messaged yadav to find the details about tia’s brother. ‘If he is the same person, I won’t leave him this time. I will make him pay. He is the reason for all my tears, I won’t spare him.’ She thought to herself and cried her heart out and slept after weeping a lot.
Next morning everyone got ready to leave the place while Nandita and vikram already left in the night when all were sleeping leaving a message. Every one asked about her health when Ishanya came out of her room. She made everyone believe that she is totally fine, but Omkara can see her smile not reaching her eyes and again her eyes are showing emptiness to him.
‘When will I see happiness in her eyes again?’ he thought to himself.
“Slapping fairy, I am sorry I couldn’t be there with you when you were unwell. When I came down stairs, Shivaay bhaiyya said that you already slept, so I thought not to disturb you.” He said looking upset.
“Oh! Please rudy, nothing has happened to me. Please don’t get upset.” She said cheering him up.
“I want to say sorry to you Ishanya di. I can call you di na?” Soumya asked her.
“Yes you can. But why sorry?” She said with a smile.
“I talked very rudely with you yesterday, while you were talking about my own good. You were right I wanted to prove that I can be beautiful even with the overweight. But now I understood that I should not risk my health and youth for this. Thanks for making me understand.” She said to Ishanya while she just nodded smiling and hugged Soumya.
Seeing this Annika and prinku too joined the hug in the happiness that Soumya and Ishanya are happy now.
“Oh! Now you people too started having moments?” Rudra asked playfully.
“Why? Having moments is only O’bros’ right?” Ishanya answered him back.
“Yes.” Rudra said proudly placing his hands on ShivOm’s shoulders. While girls just rolled their eyes at them.
“Now can we leave please, I have scheduled a meeting in afternoon.” Ishanya said.
“Now, look who is talking about work.” Shivaay said sarcastically.
“Arey, you are saying like you have took an off today.” She answered him back.
“Yes, I did.” Shivaay said shocking everyone.
“Really?” Asked everyone in unison.
“Yes, what’s there to get shocked? Can’t I take an off?” He asked.
“Of course you can.” Said Rudra and Omkara.
“And you should.” Ishanya said.
“And you should too.” Shivaay said to her.
“Me, but why?” she asked.
“You got better just now. You should take rest.” Shivaay said to her
“And yeah, I’ve told Saahil your PA to cancel all of your appointments today, so now no excuses.” He said.
“It’s good that you did it Shivaay. Ishanya you need to rest.” Omkara said agreeing to Shivaay.
“But I’ll get bored in my home.” She said whining.
“I have solution to it too. Let’s go to the pond near here and have a picnic.” He said.
“Shivaay, is it you only? You are giving us shocks one by one.” Ishanya said dramatically.
“yeah, billuji and not talking about work!! It is 8th wonder.” Annika exclaimed.
“Oh! Stop it pannika.” He snapped at her.
“But I have to go, saahil must be waiting for me”, Annika said.
“No one invited you.” Shivaay replied to her.
“Please don’t start fighting now you two.” IshOm said in unison and looked at each other for a moment.
“But Shivaay bhaiyya we need to go to college we have to submit our projects by today evening.” Prinku said alerting Soumya and Rudra they said in unison, “Oh! Yes! I forgot!”
“And I have to go to art gallery” said Omkara surprising Ishanya.
“What you too won’t come!!” Ishanya exclaimed making Omkara happy.
Looking at the upset face of Ishanya Shivaay said, “it’s fine. We both will go there.” Disappointing Omkara.
Not just Omkara, Annika too got little upset seeing the bond Shivaay and Ishanya has.
“Ok, then we should leave.” Omkara said.
Everyone left from there to Oberoi Mansion while Shivaay and Ishanya went to the pond which is near their farm house.
“Wow!! It is beautiful.” Ishanya said looking at the pond, “we should have come here in the night, it would have been more awesome.” She said.
“It is well maintained too.” Ishanya said.
“Yeah, we do have maintenance staff that does the work of cleaning our properties every month.” Shivaay said.
“It is oberoi’s property?” Ishanya asked in surprise.
“Yes, the farmhouse and 5kms around it is the property of oberoi’s.” he replied to her.
“Ohk, now tell me.” She asked looking at him.
“What?” Shivaay asked her.
“The matter which made you take an off from office.” She said surprising Shivaay at her understanding.
“Tell me from which matter you are running away?” She asked him.
“You are very smart ha, Ishanya. How did you even felt that there is some issue? My brothers had not even got a hint of it with whom I am so close.” He asked her in surprise.
“Because I know what is running away from the situation and its nuisances. That’s why I can know who are running away.” She said looking down making Shivaay regret asking her this question.
“Just like I guessed Soumya’s.” she said looking up smiling. He too smiled at her being relieved seeing her smile.
“Now tell me, what’s the matter?” She asked him.
Shivaay took a deep breath and looked at his left side before saying, “I tried to develop a relation with tia like you said, but it is not possible. I should leave it like this only.”
“It’s completely up to you what you want to do and what you don’t but if you are asking my opinion, why should you keep a name sake relation?” she asked him.
“Because of business?” She asked after not getting any reply from him. He just nodded in yes.
“But why? Is that deal so important for your business than your life?” she asked.
“It’s not. But bade papa wants me to do this marriage. I cannot deny him.” He replied being honest with her.
“Are you for real? He is your bade papa, so he must be thinking about your happiness only, just let him know your feelings.” She said.
“You don’t know him, he just doesn’t care” he told her.
“Then why are you caring about him? Just tell him straight that you don’t want to marry Tia.” She said to him.
“I can’t, because he is my elder he is my family.” He said to her.
“What are you talking Shivaay? Where is your brain from which you take all decisions, do you even find logic in this?” she asked him making him see some sense.
“Or is that gossip true?” she asked making him confused.
“Which gossip?” he asked.
“That you want to impress your bade papa so that he change his mind to make you the next MD of Oberoi empire instead of his son Omkara?” she asked him directly.
“What the wuck? You think so low about me?” he asked her
“You are making me think like that.” She said surprising him.
“Why are you so straight forward?” Shivaay whined making Ishanya laugh at him.
“Look Shivaay, you’ve already tried giving a chance to tia and your relationship which got failed. Now you’ve only two options. One is marrying tia and bearing her your entire life for the MD seat which is not guaranteed that you’ll get it. Or, deny marrying tia but also prove yourself the worthy heir of the empire. Decision is yours.” She said explaining to him.
“I will prove myself the worthy heir not because of any alliance but on my hard work and passion.” He said and ran his finger through his hair in his attitude.
Ishanya looked at him smiling and said, “Now, that’s like SSO.”
Shivaay too smiled at her. He was glad that he got Ishanya as his friend who can make him see the sense without any hesitation. He is close to his brothers, but he can’t share anything and everything with them as he has his limitations as an elder brother. But with Ishanya he can be Shivaay just Shivaay not SSO as she doesn’t give a damn about his position and surname and see through his fake status mask. He thinks himself lucky to get Ishanya as his friend.
“I like this attribute of yours.” Shivaay said to her.
“Which attribute?” she asked him.
“Making everything simple. How you do that?” he asked her making her laugh a little.
“What?” He asked seeing her reaction.
“Nothing, it was only you in the O’bros’ that hadn’t asked me this question now you too asked it.” She said smiling to him.
“Oh, really? So what are your answers to them?” he asked playfully.
“The same which I am telling to you too……..things and situations are always simple it’s us who make them complicated.” She said smiling, he too smiled at her and they left from there to the city.
