Chapter-41

A friend indeed

Shivaay reached her house in hurry worrying about Ishanya. Ishanya opened the door at let him in.

“What happened Ishanya? Why have you called me here at this time? Is everything ok?” Shivaay asked.

“No, Shivaay it is not.” Ishanya replied.

“Is it about the news segment? Have the media planned to air another rubbish news about you?” he asked her.

“No, Shivaay. It is not about me. It is about you.” She said surprising him.

“What is about me?” he asked.

“I’ll tell you. First you sit, Shivaay and listen to me with open mind.” She said to him.

They sat on the sofa and Ishanya said, “I have appointed someone to get details and information about tia’s brother. And this is what I got.” and took her laptop to show him the video yadav sent.

Shivaay got shocked seeing tia and robin talking to the lady whose husband got dead in the maha arti and instructing her to attend the puja in disguise and shoot Shivaay and also talked about how their previous plans failed.

Shivaay got very shocked and ran his fingers in his hair in frustration and said, “I can’t believe this! Kapoors family is behind all of our attacks, but why? What enmity do they have with us?”

“But why do you want to get information about Robin?” he asked her in confusion.

“That can wait for another day Shivaay, now we have to find out kapoors motive to kill oberoi’s.” she said making him focus on the situation.

Just then Ishanya’s door bell rang. “It must be yadav.” Ishanya said and went to the door she opened it only after confirming it by seeing through the key hole.

“Come in yadav.” She said and he entered inside the house.

“Please be seated.” She said he sat adjacent to Shivaay and Ishanya came and sat beside Shivaay saying, “he is my source Shivaay. He is an ex-conistable, so he has access to the government records and can spy on anyone.”

“Tell me yadav, what information you got?” she asked him.

“Tia’s brother robin is not tia’s brother, he is dushyanth, tia’s husband.” He said shocking both of them.

Shivaay got very shocked to hear that tia’s brother is actually her husband. “So, the alliance with me is for revenge.” He concluded after thinking and processing the information.

“Yes sir, and one more shocking thing is Svetlana kapoor is the elder daughter of the kapoors.” Yadav said revealing another shocking news to them.

“That means they wanted to trap me and bade papa.” Shivaay said out loud.

“Yes sir. And the reason for this is the construction deal of a flyover which oberoi’s obtained by unfair means making kapoors go bankrupt and Mr. Kapoor took his own life owing to the humiliation and financial problems. It happened 10 years ago.” Yadav said telling all the information he got.

“This is the copy of tia’s marriage certificate and this is svetlana’s passport copy which is the proof that she is kapoors daughter.” Yadav said providing all the proofs.

“Thank you so much yadav, you have collected all the information in this short notice.” Ishanya said.

“Arey, what are you saying madam. Anything for you.” He said and stood up to leave.

Shivaay just sat there rubbing his eyebrows processing every detail yadav said to him while he left.

Ishanya came and offered a glass of water to Shivaay, who took it and drank it in one go.

“I don’t know how to react now. They set a trap for us and we fell in it so easily.” Shivaay said letting out his frustration.

“Relax Shivaay. This is not the time to think all this. This is time to think how to get out from this trap and protect your family and yourself.” Ishanya said consoling him.

“Yeah, you are right. I will talk to the commissioner and request him to arrest all the kapoors.” Shivaay said.

“Shivaay, with which proof you request him to arrest the whole family? These proofs of tia’s marriage and Svetlana being kapoors daughter are not enough to prove them criminal. With the video we can prove tia and dushyant as criminals but not Svetlana and Mrs. Kapoor. We have to think something which can make you get rid of them completely at once.” Ishanya said explaining him the situation.

“Yeah, you are right. But how can we prove Mrs. Kapoor and Svetlana guilty?” Shivaay asked her.

“I have a plan.” Ishanya said and they discussed about it.

“Thank you so much Ishanya. If not for you tomorrow anything could have happened. And thank you for helping me plan all this.” Shivaay said expressing his gratitude to her.

“Tell me thanks after the success of the plan and by this even my work is being done so I should also thank you.” Ishanya said cheering him up.

“Now, it’s my turn to help you. Tell me what made you appoint a spy to get dushyant’s details?” he asked her.

Ishanya took a deep breath and told, “Shivaay, dushyant is that part of my past which I didn’t want to remember or talk about it. For you it should be enough to know that he is the reason of all my wounds and pain.”

Hearing her answer he hadn’t probed her further to know anything. He bid her bye and went to Oberoi mansion. When he entered inside, he was surprised to see Omkara there.

“Omkara what are you doing here at this time?” he asked in concern.

“I just woke up, it’s 5:00 in the morning.” He replied surprising Shivaay.

“What it is already morning? I lost the trace of time.” He said to Omkara.

“But from where are you coming at this time? You haven’t slept all night?” he asked Shivaay.

“I am coming from Ishanya’s house.” He said shocking Omkara.

“What? Is everything alright?” Omkara asked in worry.

“Yeah, it is. We just talked about some work. Everything is fine.” He said assuring Omkara.

But he had seen through his lie and wondered why he went to Ishanya’s house at this time and got upset thinking about their closeness which was denied to him by Ishanya.

“Ok, you go and rest for some time. I am going for a jog in the garden.” Omkara said to him and they both went in opposite directions crossing each other.

Omkara was thinking about Ishanya while jogging, ‘what work are they discussing in this late night to early morning? Why do I feel that it is not professional but personal work? Then why
Shivaay said it’s work? What is he hiding from me? Whatever it is I am not liking the closeness between them, but why? I have no answer.

Am I jealous? That too from Shivaay? But why? I want to be the one who she can share her pain, I want to be the one to reduce her pain and give her happiness. I want to be the one who knows completely about her. I want to be so close to her that no else can. Why am I feeling this way? I haven’t felt anything like this with riddhima, then why am I feeling like this for Ishanya?’

It was evening and Ishanya came to Oberoi mansion to discuss about the project with senior O’bros’ as they are the one handling it. This time everyone welcomed her fondly, even pinky too as she got to know that Ishanya is a business woman and now she doesn’t have any problem with her friendship with Shivaay. But Ishanya saw through her mask and got to know her real face.

According to the plan Ishanya and Shivaay made, they succeed in arresting the woman who had tried to attack them twice, in the puja. All the family members got shocked by it but thanked god as the woman got arrested not knowing that real enemies were out and they had to be caught for the assurance of family’s safety.

After Ishanya left, Shivaay told everything to everyone but not the plan they made to prove Svetlana and Mrs. Kapoor guilty.

Tej had been feeling ashamed that he fell into the trap of Svetlana and ignored his family life. Omkara now felt relieved that the problem named Svetlana is going to be out from their lives soon.

But Janvi knew even after the exit of Svetlana from their lives there isn’t going to be many changes happening in their lives as she knew about her husband, if not Svetlana, he would go after another girl but won’t come to her and spend time with his kids.

At night OmRu got to know that it is because of Ishanya that Shivaay got to know about the kapoors and failed their attack on him. Omkara felt relieved knowing that it is because of this issue Shivaay went to Ishanya’s house that late in the night.

Omkara observed that after accepting his feelings without thinking about right and wrong, he is feeling very light. So he accepted that he is jealous from Shivaay because he likes Ishanya.
