Chapter-46
The right of friends
O’bros reached the hospital with the food for Ishanya and stood at the door step contemplating to go inside as they don’t want to make her hyper again which is not good for her.
Just then a nurse came there with a soup bowl in the tray she is carrying. “Excuse sir, are you going inside?” she asked.
“No!!” The trio answered immediately.
“Ok, then I will only feed her the soup.” She said and was about to go inside they stopped her.
“Wait, we brought the soup for her, feed it to her not the hospital one.” Shivaay said and they gave her the soup.
She went inside and they stood outside only. After few minutes the nurse came out with the empty bowl and said that Ishanya was calling them inside.
They looked at each other’s faces and smiled to themselves before entering her room.
“Hi O’bros’.” Ishanya said smiling to them making them surprise.
They too smiled to her and replied hi.
“You were right bhaiyya, she just needed some alone time.” Rudra whispered to ShivOm.
“Yeah, Shivaay. She is now back to normal.” Omkara whispered.
“I told you guys before only, you were worrying for no reason.” Shivaay whispered to them.
“Only we?” Rudra asked in whisper.
“You too were getting worried don’t fake it now.” Omkara whispered to Shivaay.
“Is it over? Now will any of you talk to me or still want to whisper to each other?” Ishanya asked to get their attention. They smiled sheepishly at her.
“How are you feeling now, Ishanya?” Omkara asked looking at her and remembering himself to be only her friend till she gets fine and control the lover in him till then.
“I am fine. I am just waiting for the discharge order from the doctor.” She replied.
“What? No! He said that you need to be under observation for few days.” Shivaay said.
“Yeah, but I will ask him to discharge me today only when he comes for the rounds.” She replied.
“No Ishanya, you should be in the hospital if doctors say so.” Omkara said explaining to her.
“But I don’t want to!!” She whined.
“Ishanya, no one is asking your permission. You are staying in hospital till the doctor himself says that you are fine and you can leave. It’s final.” Shivaay said in the tone of ordering.
“It is not fair! You can’t decide for me.” She said.
“I can, because I am your friend and it is a friend’s right to take care of the friend. So, you should not stop me.” Shivaay answered her making her smile with his care.
“It’s feeling good to be cared.” She replied making them emotional.
“But still I am not going to stay in the hospital for long.” She said making them all smile.
“Are they sent behind bars?” Ishanya asked seriously.
“Yes.” Shivaay replied nodding his head.
“And they are not going to come out soon.” Rudra said to her.
“And don’t worry, media has been taken care of, your name is not in any of these issues.” Omkara said to her
Ishanya nodded her head hearing them, “Any way, the soup was so good, and you have saved me from the hospital’s horrible soup.” She said to them.
“Now what? You have seen me, aren’t you? Why are you still standing here? Get going to your works.” She said when she saw them still standing there.
“But we are thinking to stay here.” Rudra said.
“Why? Need a reason to punk the college? No need of it.” She said to him.
“But Ishanya, how can we leave you alone in hospital? Let’s call Nandita.” Omkara asked her.
“Why not? Listen I am fine and I will be fine too. There is no need to stay in hospital for me leaving all your works and No, I am not going to listen to any of your reasons and not call Nandita. Now leave.” Ishanya said in her attitude and they had to oblige her.
“But we will visit you again in the evening. And here is your phone” Omkara said and gave her phone.
“Ok, I am not stopping you guys. You can visit me.” She replied.
And they left from there after placing the lunch box there.
3 days have been passed just like this. All the three visited her thrice in a day and also brought food for her. Nandita too used to visit her but not that many times as O’bros’.
Today when they visited hospital they heard Ishanya arguing with Dr. Srikanth and stood there at the door step only not wanting to interfere.
“Stub-born women!!!” murmured Dr. Srikanth coming out of her ward.
“What happened doctor?” Omkara asked failing to control his curiosity.
“She wants to be discharged today, itself.” He replied.
“Oh! Don’t worry. We’ll convince her.” Shivaay said.
“No need of it. She can leave from hospital as she is fine now and it’s good for her to get back to her routine life.” He replied surprising them.
“Then what’s the problem?” Rudra asked in confusion.
“The problem is she stays alone. It is not safe for her in this condition as she can get attacks any time. Nandita is out of town as Ishanya sent her to banglore for work.”
” That’s why I thought of taking her to my home, my wife will give her company. But she is not agreeing to it.” He said in disappointment.
“how about we take her to our home?” Shivaay asked surprising everyone.
“You think she will agree?” Dr. Srikanth asked.
“Who is going to ask her? I will just make her agree.” Shivaay replied surprising the others.
“Ok, then. Take good care of her and keep her out of any stress. Don’t let her go to office for few days but keep her busy in something or the other.”
“No alcohol and all the best. You need it to handle her in your house.” Dr. Srikanth said and left from there.
They went inside the room only to find Ishanya sleeping peacefully. Seeing her Shivaay got an idea and told it to his brothers.
“Rudra, Omkara, she is sleeping now, let’s shift her to our house now only.” Shivaay said.
“Bhaiyya, it’s very risky. We will have to face dire consequences because of it, you don’t know her anger.” Rudra said to them.
“Rudra be a man. If we ask her to stay in our home she won’t agree. Shivaay’s idea is perfect for this.” Omkara said explaining to him.
“Yes, once we take her to the home we can convince her and stop her from leaving.” Shivaay said.
And they took Ishanya to their home when she is asleep because of the medicines. Shivaay ordered Annika to decorate the guest room of Oberoi mansion for Ishanya.
Omkara asked prinku and Soumya to keep the basic girl stuff ready as she might need them after waking up.
O’bros are in kitchen but for a change they are making lunch today especially for Ishanya.
“Bhaiyya, there is still time, lets drop her to her place.” Rudra said to them.
“Why are you so scared Rudra? What will she do? Just argue with us, isn’t it? We can convince her.” Omkara said to him.
“Bhaiyya, I didn’t see this side of you ever, I mean going to this extent for a friend that you actually brought her without even letting her know!! It is new.”
“And O, I had never even imagined that you can support these kind of acts.” Rudra said pointing it out.
“Yeah, you are right, but what should I do, I care for her and I know her she won’t agree to come to her house.” Shivaay replied.
“I know it that’s why I am supporting this.” Omkara said.
“Now only Ishanya can make you understand! Mera kya hai, tum log hi pachtaogi.” Rudra concluded.
After sometime, Ishanya woke up and surprised to see her surroundings. ‘I am not in hospital, where am I?’ she thought and came out of the bed.
Because of that sudden moment, she felt dizzy and swayed a little. She clutched her head which is throbbing with pain.
Slowly she came out of the room and looked around to realize that she is in Oberoi Mansion.
‘What the hell, how did I come here?’ she thought and remembered her convo with Srikanth before she fell asleep.
‘That Srikanth might have told that to O’bros’ too and they must have brought me here.’ She thought to herself.
‘How dare they do this to me? They just kidnapped me!! How can they do this?’ she thought and anger built up in her.
She was looking for them by going left and right in the corridor. Just then she spotted AniSou and prinku sitting in the lounge.
They were talking about her only and wondering why the O’bros’ brought her there and discussing about what had happened with her and the Oberoi’s recently.
They too saw Ishanya and stood up from their seats and went to her.
“Ishanya di, you woke up? How are you feeling now?” Soumya asked her with a friendly smile.
“I am ok, Soumya.” She replied with the same smile.
“We heard what had happened with you. We are sorry about it.” Annika said making her anger on the O’bros’ increase.
‘How can they tell this to everyone? I thought it was a secret between us four!’ Ishanya thought and became upset that they hadn’t considered about her privacy at all.
“Where are they?” Ishanya asked without replying to Annika.
“Who?” She asked.
“The O’bros’!” Ishanya said.
“Bhai, kitchen mein hain.” Prinyanka said.
“Where is the kitchen?” She asked.
“We are going there only, come with us.” Soumya said and all the four went to kitchen.
They saw the brothers having their time while making lunch.
“Le, pata nahi kitchen mein hi inn bhaiyyon ko pyar kyun ata hai?” said Annika making all the girls look at her weirdly.
Ishanya just stormed in to the kitchen. First of all Rudra saw her coming inside the kitchen and went to her saying, “Hey, you woke up?”
Ishanya slapped him shocking everyone. All looked at her in shock.
