Teri Meri Doriyaan 13th May 2024 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Diljeet asks Angad if he is thinking that a person who didn’t have money to pay for his gold ring is standing equally now. Angad shouts where is his son and tries to attack him. Guards catch Angad. Angad shouts Akeer. Diljeet enjoys drink and says Angad, Sahiba and all misused innocent Diljeet, now he has changed and will give them a befitting reply, he is no more poor Diljeet and is equally rich as Angad. Keerat helps Sahiba escape from room. Prabjot carries food for Sahiba and tells Keerat that Bebe sent food for Sahiba, she herself will give it to Sahiba as she can’t trust Keerat who would support her sister anyways. Keerat says she is also DIL of this house and takes food plate from her. Once Prabjot leaves, Keerat keeps food plate aside and takes Sahiba along.
Diljeet tells Angad that he will punish him for trespassing his house. Angad continues to shout where is his son. Bani notices Sahiba and calls her Maasi. Keerat recalls informing her that Sahiba is her maasi/aunt. Jasleen playing hide and seek with Bani walks to her and asks whom did she call maasi. Keerat says she called maasi to her. Bani says there is also someone else here and takes her towards Sahiba. Sahiba hides. Jasleen says there is no one here. Keerat says she already told him. Jasleen takes Bani away. Sahiba gets out of Brar mansion by jumping down the wall and recalls Diljeet’s address.
Angad continues to demand Diljeet to call Akeer. Diljeet says Akeer is enjoying life and asks him to call Sahiba first. Akeer is busy listening to his and Diljeet’s favourite song. Angad pushes guards away and shouts Akeer again. Guards catch him again. Diljeet calls police and informs Harneet over phone that he is going to get Angad out. Police arrives and asks Diljeet who has barged into his house. Diljeet points at Angad. Inspector identifies Angad and says it’s not right for a rich man like him to barge into someone’s house. Angad shouts Diljeet has forcefully kept his son with him. Diljeet says Angad is calling his son as his and is in mental trauma as he is childless. Police asks proof. Diljeet says he has birth certificate to prove that. He silently taunts Angad. Angad holds Diljeet’s collar. Diljeet acts afraid. Police arrests Angad. Diljeet asks him not to arrest Angad and just send him out of his house.
Sahiba heads towards Diljeet’s house in an auto. Police take Angad out of the house. Reporters throng outside the house, click pics, and report that Mr Brar is arrested. Diljeet asks inspector to just warn Angad for trespassing and leave him. Reporters say Angad is warned and left for trespassing into Diljeet’s house. They question Angad who is Diljeet and why did he trespass his house. Sahiba reaches there. They ask Angad if it’s true that his wife returned to him after 6 years.
Precap: Sahiba tells Diljeet that she only got hatred from Angad and took time to understand Diljeet’s love. She asks him to fix the ring he got for her and accept him as his wife as her true happiness is with him and Akeer. She drops ring and asks Angad to help her pick her ring.

I can’t wait for that stupid angad and his equally stupid and morally corrupt mother to be humiliated, be desperate for help and humbled . I want all those arrogant idiots in that mental institution they call mansion to lose everything and suffer hopefully then they will understand the real world
Questions for indians here ;
1. Why is it that married people always have to stay in the husband’s family home with everyone? i get extended family live but what i see is extreme. Everyone being in your biz all the time isn’t healthy .
2. Why can’t they talk back to these elders no matter how
stupid , pathetic, abusive
they behave with them.
3. Why don’t they kiss in these series, bcos I don’t think it’s cos they want to keep it PG when they do more sinister things in these series things which are far worse than being intimate in public.
4 . It’s arranged marriage widely practiced there as its seen in these series ?
5 . Are mothers in laws this abusive there cos I can swear every Indian series I watch there is a mother in law who abuses their daughter in laws and I’m beginning to think that’s what happens in Indian.
Hope my questions don’t offend anyone
3.
@Maame A the thing that bothers me a lot in this series is living crowded together on one place i understand it’s their culture but that’s conflicts never end in this shows because were they are many people conflicts are bound to happen and the issue of arramged marriage why can’t their adults son choose their partners on their own i don’t understand as well i have watched the following series imlie,ghum,Baatein,Jhanak only to name a few and all of these has arranged marriage or marriage of convenience and also no indian series i have watched so far that don’t have abusive mother in law i think it’s getting old now that every series has the same pattern seems like the same person is writing these showsđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
@Maame, the joint family set-up simply doesn’t work nowadays, but they show it in these shows because that way drama can easily exist between the couple…unfortunately, these shows rely on separations and misunderstandings, and to not show that the couple is dynfunctional by themselves if they were living alone, they try to show in most cases the problems between them are external (like plotting sister in laws, etc)…not realizing that if a couple can’t deal with all of this or mistusts each other so easily, they are dysfunctional still haha. As for kissing, I agree…..these shows run on the couple’s chemistry and they show far worse things, so why can’t they show proper intimacy between couples is beyond me….but again, the people who watch these shows on TV are conservative Indians, so they are okay with seeing violence, etc., but think more intimate scenes are somehow worse.
@Maame A, friend don’t take these serials too seriously. The abuses, hatred and all negativity shown are exaggerated in these shows. Married people do live in joint families but its not that they don’t have any privacies or they need to tell everything going on in their life to each and every member. They do talk to elders where they need advice and suggestions and these elders guide them with warmth and with their experience. Love marriages are also common but they prefer arrange marriages because India has varied communities where each one has its own culture/ religious ceremonies/ languages and if marriages are arranged amongst them than it becomes easy for both the parties to get set in new environment because they know about every rituals. W.r.t. MILs, shown in these serials, i believe, majority of viewers watching ITV shows are now senior citizens and they could resemble their situation with these MILs when they were DILs because uptill 80’s and 90’s they had very strict MIL, where DIL had to obey every order of her inlaws. So makers think ppl will like this and continue showing it. But this is not working now a days and you could easily see. if ppl loved this kind of shit than TRP of TMD would have been highest. But it is not so. This show is near to shut down by showing such type of constant abuses.
I normally avoid writing too lengthy. I always like to be to the point but when it comes to India, i can’t cut short.
@KJ are you from india.
@Pee Yes, m frm India
@K.J okay thank you for shedding some light about your country..
1 – for the preservation of the patriarchy, joint families breed toxicity.
2 – they like to desensitize people to bowing to elders even if they are wrong – to preserve outdated traditions like keeping your head bowed and never looking elders in the eye and wearing the veil over your head, your elders are your God apparently, look at that horrible Anupama her ex MiL tortured her but she still runs to her to keep getting kicked.
3 – India has a weird sense of morality, they created the karma sutra but if their tv heroines show a little too much skin they rampage. Ever see an itv bahu in a swimsuit, there are a few shows that werenât making TRP waves that had like 1 kiss between the ML and FL one was Meet and the other one a show about reporters, honestly after covid lockdowns itâs become worse. If a boy and girl hug in these serials itâs like a crime, if they kiss theyâll get honor killed
4 – only in heavily patriarchal families where women are viewed as burdens that must be sent away as soon as possible; if there werenât any laws people would be marrying their female babies off
5 – yes⌠95 percent of Indian mothers like to act like their sons substitute wife, like you canât take care of their kids. My mom didnât have a mother in law but her mother was a little bit of a demon to her cause she treated my dad like her son and my mom like the baby making housewife who should be seen and not heard⌠then I happened got many beatings for being a rebel and turned everyone on their heads now I live away from the drama, when I think of how hard my mom tried to make me conform to âgood girlâ standards shame all that wasted effort.
I can’t believe Angad went to face Diljeet without a proper plan or backup like seriously the only thing that Angad is good at is shouting but can’t reason well loved the humiliation that Angad faced though someone need to humble him the only way to get Akeer is Sahiba and Angad working together now for the sake of their child Sahiba seems to reason very well though she makes impulsive decisions sometimes she has solved a lot of things all by herself even saved Angad from some situations i don’t see Angad solving anything without Sahiba because she is the smart one between them and it looks like the PH is going broke Sahan repeating costumes from the haldi ceremonyđ¤Łđ¤Ł and the makers are proud to celebrate 500 episode without any proper love story between lead couples just misunderstandings and separation..
@Pee, yeah, Angad was stupid going there without a plan, but he probably didn’t expect Diljit to be loaded or do that…but still not smart on ASB’s part. Yes, Sahiba will have to do the thinking for Angad in this situation, but I hope they work together to save Akir and Sahiba does not have to marry that fool Diljith. Yeah, the dress was recycled, but at least we see Sahiba in something else besides those clown/maid clothes. It’s sad the show has made it to 500 episodes without a proper love story….as viewers we have been cheated….whether the show ends in July or not, they really should wrap up the Diljith track in the next 2 weeks, and make the show take a positive turn…Angad’s redemption, and (at least I hope) a proper Sahan romance, and Sahiba”s career….if the show is replaced in July, I think for Sahiba’s career, they may show Sahiba becomes like the creative director of Brar Jewerlers or something…kind of a slap in the face to Akal who didn’t want women working for the company lol….if this show does end on a positive note, I think we’ll all be shocked haha.
@Pee you are absolutely right. How can Angad go without having any plan. Did he thought that Diljeet will surrender on his shout and hand over Akeer to him!!!Yes for getting Akeer they (Sahan) will only have to work together. Because now Diljeet has painted Dost uncle as Dushman uncle in Akeer’s mind and only Sahiba can wipe this off. But i differ a bit on your PoV of Angad’s disability of solving anything without Sahiba. If you remember, he rescued Sahiba from Rumi in that forest without having any clue and that too on his own. Ofcourse Sahiba seems to be much smarter and Angad’s decision are rash. Its sad that we as viewers have gone through 500 torturing episodes just in anticipation of love and romance.
@KJ, I just find it so adorable whenever anyone says Dushman Uncle haha….but yes, only Sahiba can remove that from Akir’s mind, plus Angad making real efforts to build a relationship with Akir…as messed up as Angad is, he can be charming at times, as seen in his original interactions with Akir, so I think he can win him over, but will need Sahiba’s help. Agreed, Angad did figure out where Sahiba was in the Rumi track all by himself, but they have severely reduced his IQ since then….but I’m sure he can be a decent follower to Sahiba’s plan in this mess…beating up people is Angad’s domain, but planning/being an ace detective is Sahiba’s wheelhouse….I’m just looking forward to them working together.
Ask and you shall receive….finally however horrible the precap is, Sahiba got new clothes…or at least another ensemble from the past haha. Beauty but no brains…why Angad couldnât say that he is Akirâs father and ask to do a DNA test makes no sense. Concerning Diljith….it doesnât matter what happened to him or how he was wronged, what he is doing (especially lusting over Sahiba like this and brainwashing Akir after endangering his life twice) is wrong….ASB has done a lot of wrong things and deserves to be punished (though redeemed too), but even if he inherited his wealth he worked to bring up his company…..Diljith is just living off on his motherâs dime and acting as if heâs some business magnate…can this man even read properly?…last time I checked he was a puppeter and a food cart owner (and Sahiba was making most of the meals)? I donât even think this money is Harneetâs, itâs probably her husbandâs….I canât wait till Mr. Gill finds out that heâs footing the bill so his wifeâs illegitimate son can live a life of luxury and destroy the man that heâs trying to marry his mentally unstable daughter to….now that is some drama I would love to see! As for the precap, I really hope Sahan work together to get out of this mess….itâll be a long time before they are together and Angad makes up for all the shit he pulled, but this really needs to be the start of a positive turn of working together….I always wanted to see them fighting together as a unit against villains not against each other….after exactly 500 episodes, this is needed. But if these makers pull some crap that Sahiba actually has to marry Diljith for real or even worse he impregnates her, I am going to really quit this nonsense show. One highlight of todayâs episode is that Keeratâs acting did improve a bit….not significantly, but I do give at least a B- for effort. Looking forward to seeing Baniâs relationship with Akir and with Sahiba + Angad (she actually looks like Sahibaâs daughter more than Keeratâs lol, and it would have been sweeter seeing Sahan with a daughter than a son, though Akir is a cutie too). Going back to the wedding angle, I feel that Diljith will suggest some sort of double wedding of Angad â Amu and Diljith – Sahiba (as per his momâs request), but something will happen and Sahan will get remarried and then a khulsa about Diljithâs mother will happen and Mr. Gill may end up killing Diljith….itâs best if Harneetâs family destroy one another and exit from this show….anyways, I stand by what I said from Day 1, Diljith needs to die, not go to jail at the end of this track and I need proof lol….with Rumi in the mental aslyum, Seerat only presumbably dead, and Yash on the loose, not to mention the poor security at Brarâs Mansion, we donât need another loose end here. Also, now there are reports the show may go off-air in June or July….if itâs true, on the one hand this is long overdue, on the other, I just want there to be resolution in this story. .
…and a proper Sahan romance.
I would much rather Diljeet got involved with his mother and half sister and that blasted Angad lost all his Dosh and got locked up in prison for life. I hate the creep now.
Trying to come up with plans and schemes when actually in real life anything remotely close to such scenario all would be pissing in pants and acting far worse than any characters of the show and here trying to find logic in a fictional show meant to exaggerate things. Trying to prove how sorted and rational they are, superiority complex is biggest enemy and one of main causes of unhappiness and downfall, keep it up!! đđ
today episiode also tells that sahiba left brar mansion andwas thinking about marrying diljeet it says in preclip she will tell diljeet how angad abused her in many ways and that she herself wants to share her life with diljeet so i think she will marry diljeet and angad will marry amu read the preclip and you will see what i mean we all would like to see angad and sahiba together but this seems impossible sahiba has grown to hate angad now and angad hated sahiba already after his father died and she had her miscariage
No way, Iâd like to see both those annoying characters miserable and alone, I canât stand Angad Mammaâs mumu Brar or Sahiba the as*xual screetching nun. Itv has the WORST characterization. The last good character was Mauli who kicked her cheating ex out her life and Katha also played by Aditi Sharma. Seems Aditi is the only actress with a brain who plays strong female roles not like all these other actresses without a backbone. If the actresses went on strike and said no to these deplorable roles then things would change, but they have less backbone than the senseless characters they play
@Marlielouise, I for one would love a Sahan reunion once Angad redeems himself, and I do see potential for that, but it’s really if the makers take the time to do that. It’s true most ML’s on shows are toxic and actresses really need to demand better roles, but even in the best of shows there is always some toxicity.
I loved Katha Ankhahee as a show and Aditi’s and Andnan’s performances…it actually made me want to watch ITV again….Katha was a strong woman, but at the same time she did fall in love with Viaan….who became the ultimate green flag and the whole show was literally Viaan’s redemption track, but we mustn’t forget that their relationship was based on the most toxic circumstance….Viaan paid Katha (his employee) to sleep with him just because he wanted to test her if she was really just a materialistc girl (and unbeknowst to him she needed the money to pay for her son’s cancer treatment)….Viaan was incredibly misgnostic in the beginning and grew into a wonderful man….Katha held her ground and was amazing……I wish Sahiba also evolves into a strong character who is not dehumanized by her circumstances, and I really hope like Viaan, Angad can evolve into a better man…..Besides being a VK fan, one of the major reasons why I so strongly believe in a redemption track is exactly because of Katha Ankhahee, but it all comes down to good writing, which the makers of this show have struggled with…..I really hope if they show a Sahan reconciliation they do it justice and just like Viaan was inspired by Katha (in fact my favorite line in the show was when he said about Katha “mein uska pyaar panna nahi chahtha hoon, mein uski roshni mein jeena chahta hoon” …..”I don’t want to attain her love, I want to just live in her light.”…..If only they could show Angad being inspired by the woman Sahiba is, the artist she is, the mother she is….he only saw her as his wife before, but I wish he could appreciate the woman she is and want to just be in her prescence rather than attaining her….and I do feel most fans would still love to see that.
I think the precape yet again is another misleading one. May be it is a Diljeet dreams. Or even Angad’s after realizing his mistakes.or a plot of Saha to defeat Diljeet
