Dear forum friends, forget the shit PH and maker’s of TMD done with the series and to the fans and avoid them in future by not watching their products. GOOD BYE LADIES.
Sahiba was killed of for this?😂
Can’t help but laugh at the fact that makers of the show took all the feedback of their fans and viewers and rubbed it over their @sses 😂
They actually chose to have a pathetic ending than listen to sensible reviews from their viewers.
I promise you that it’ll would have been a better ending if seerat was behind the mask as Gurnoor than whatever the fvck the show ended with.
So all that sahiba suffered for ,Gurnoor got it on a platter of diamonds?
Happy ending,maybe🤏
Satisfactory ending ,hell no 🙅♂️
@AJ, so well said! I too was hoping that Gurnoor was Seerat or Zoravar actually killed Angad if Sahiba didn’t return…..can’t believe now was the time that makers wanted to make things positive….they just like to do the exact opposite of what we want…..I’m still so upset that Angad didn’t even have a real conversation with Sahiba’s ghost, he just flat out said I love you to Gurnoor and asked to marry her…..so disgusting!
@AJ Iam just glad that indians saved us and gave a verdict to the show and stopped watching the show on tv like there is limit to everything and people were reasonable to realise that show has lost it and they need to stop watching,The story started with Sahan and it should have ended with Sahan there was no better ending that was going to beat Sahan remarriage but iam glad they learned their lesson the hardway because i think the makers thought people will continue to tolerate whatever crap they threw at viewers..
After all the suffering sahiba went through, gurnoor reap the rewards in the end,I think they are trying to enlighten us not to suffer because of love because someone else might reap the fruit of your labour, worstest serial ever, angad couldn’t even wait for a year to fall in love again and remarry
#NoSahibaNoTMD…..I can’t believe I watched 562 episodes for the world’s dumbest ITV ending. First, I’ll start by saying that I do truly respect the perspectives of all fans, but I’m sorry, anyone who thinks this is a happy ending is out of their minds. Yes, Angad reformed and I am genuinely happy about that, but I don’t know about others, but I stuck by this show from start to finish despite all the fighting, toxicity, and crimes against women, for ONE reason, and one reason only….SAHAN….and what did we get, Guran, after a rushed one-month romance…..Not to mention despite Sahiba suffering throughout the entire show, hardly enjoying 3-4 episodes of happiness total, and relatively no real love or affection from Angad, what did she get?…..her scene with Angad lasted all of 20 seconds with her saying that Punjab’s 5th Love Story which had started with Sahan would end with Guran….HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?…If Sahiba had even said to Angad that even if they weren’t possible in this lifetime, they would be together in every other lifetime, I would have felt better, but we didn’t even get that…Angad didn’t even think of Sahiba before flat out saying to Gurnoor that he loved her and asked her to be Mrs. Brar…WTF.….the makers cried about TRP and engaged in one experimental failure after the other, even killing Sahiba, the soul of the show, but NEVER ONCE even thought to actually show a real Sahan romance….they knew exactly what we wanted, hence in the past one month, Angad completely flipped the switch, became a green carpet, supported Gurnoor’s dreams, was accepted by his son, learned to encourage and respect women, and all the above…..but what was missing….Sahiba…..
What did she get….missing parents, hate from her older sister, being a college dropout, nearly dying giving birth and not being able to fully be present for her kid because of the emotional trauma she was given by Angad, just one night of passion and no romance otherwise, being repeatedly molested/raped or attempted to by three different men, being jailed and put in a mental institution by her mother-in-law, being slapped by her husband, being nearly burned alive and drugged by her brother in law and sister, miscarrying one of her children, being thrown out of the house after miscarrying one of her children, working her whole adult life to pay for her sister’s lifestyle and to support her parents, seeing her beloved shop be burned down due to her husband’s mistake, repeatedly suffering mental torture from her in-laws, being hated by the people who loved her (Gurleen, Veer, Jasleen, etc.), and finally being shot in the heart….dying literally heart broken, as if the Brars and Angad didn’t do enough to break her heart before….not to mention never having a single moment of happiness or a real photo with Angad + Akir together…..yes, the woman gave and gave and gave for Angad just to have baseline knowledge about treating women with respect (their are legit IDIOTS GUIDES for this) and now enjoy a happy life and eternal love with another woman, who wore her exact wedding outfit and whom her child now calls Mumma…..I’m ready to forget this show and move on, and I’ll NEVER UNDERSTAND why they couldn’t have brought Sahiba back…..since ITV is home of the illogic and I’m sure every fan would have loved to see SAHAN and not Guran get married in the same clothes to right the wrong that had previously been done – Sahan’s marriage was built on hate and rejected by everyone, but seeing them marry for love with the acceptance of the entire family would have been wonderful and I would have at least had some modicum of respect for the PH that at least after torturing us for months/years, they listened to us….but our thoughts, views, and emotions simply never mattered to them……
I’ll just say now I realize we must
1. actually be more reflective of the shows we watch and what we give out time to….This PH and StarPlus simply don’t deserve us or our time….Like when Angad said when he kicked Sahiba out of the house after Inder’s death….if the PH and StarPlus aren’t bothered about what we have to say/think, why should we be bothered by them? Time to boycott this shit!
2. If you are interested in writing, producing, or even the business side of entertainment and really care about telling good stories and even about fan emotions or at least have a creative vision, don’t hold yourselves back from exploring that…we need better people behind the camera who don’t act or write as if they are 10th grade dropouts who hate women….I can’t blame the writers of this show because I strongly believe however shitty this show has been the story was moved in this direction solely by the PH and StarPlus….the writers were just doing their bidding and are salaried….but these businessmen, who I’m sure are just men, who think women are replaceable and ready to be abused, made these horrible decisions.
3. I also realized most importantly that as much as I was looking for an fairytale love story in Sahan (which we never got), I and I’m sure many other ITV watchers have to stop getting into this vortex of toxciity and manifest a fairytale of sorts for our own lives, whether that is finding the right (non-toxic) partner, a stellar career, a creative outlet, voyages, or all of the above. Too many times has it happened in ITV that makers have strung viewers along for years, actually traumatizing them and exploiting their loneliness or boredom, just with the promise of a love story and at the expense of finding a way to actually tell a creative story…..I’m sorry as much as I don’t mind some ITV troupes such as the Tashn between the leading pairs etc., it’s 2024 and just like we shouldn’t accept toxic relationships in real life, we have to stop accepting toxic stories on screen too….otherwise this endless cycle of being exploited by makers will never stop….we need to take power back now.
I’ve said my peace….now the only thing I will manifest is good things for myself (not for fictional characters) and for all of you, may we all find success, love, and happiness moving forward. Additionally, though I don’t think even the cast or outlets such as SBS, realize how bad this ending was for some Sahan fans (they actually are saying the show had a good story and happy ending), I do really appreciate VK + Himanshi and the rest of the cast and crew’s outstanding work…not to mention the music composer….they all truly gave it their all and wishing them light ahead….everyone besides the makers and this sad sad excuse for a channel called StarPlus lol!
Happy ending my foot this is not a happy ending but a tragic end and insult to Sahiba’s memories, they could not even spare her clothes as well Gurnoor with the same outfit of Sahiba’s wedding what a mockery to Sahiba trying to show us that Sahiba is happy with this forced marriage in heaven what a joke makers promised a Punjabi 5th love story and end up giving us this rubbish when i first watched the first episode of this show it became my favourite because i thought it was different but this show is now the worst show i have watched in the history of itv all criminal we off free especially Manveer in the end what did we learn from this show nothing but only crimes…Sahiba suffered and died just for Gurnoor to take her son and husband like nothing happened…
@Pee, I completely agree. To be honest, as much I hate this show now, I will say looking back at it, I understand why I watched the show….yes, Sahan, but there was simply so much promise and because some things were actually well done. I know most people say Sahan were never in love or there was no real love story, but I don’t know if it was a mix of me wanting Sahan together so bad, the great acting, Sahan rather than just VK+ Himanshi’s chemistry, the awesome music, and other elements, but some of their scenes I do actually look back at and feel the full emotion whether it was their night in Manali, Angad bringing Sahiba back to life, or even Angad kissing Sahiba’s forehead and her leaning in when they were tied to chairs before Sahiba died and their words and longing to be together…..as bad as the leap was, if Sahiba had survived the gunshot, this show could have still be salvaged….it still would have gone off air, but at least the ending would have been incredibly satisfying with Sahaneer coming together, but legit the last month of this show/Sahiba’s death and Angad moving on SO quickly, with Sahiba’s complete erasure, is one of the most disugsting things I’ve ever seen on ITV and completely ruined the show for me! in any case, it was nice chatting with you all these months and reading your comments….I’ll just manifest that neither of us nor our Forum Friends fall into the trap of the PH or StarPlus ever again.
@TMD you said it all and i feel your pain because you manifested so much for Sahan reunion when the leap started and i did not want Sahan uniting at first after leap because of Angad’s action but at last i later wanted the reunion as well but after Diljeet track i never anticipated that we were going to get Sahiba’s death this is the last thing i expected from the makers i wonder why Sahiba suffered a lot from ep 1 up to 562 just for another woman to take over what belongs to her on a platter it does not make sense at all we never saw Angad and Sahiba on a date even for once, never saw the as a family or even get a single picture of them altogether, never saw Sahiba attending her child’s school functions at all so many things that Sahiba were deprived in this show yet she deserved all the happiness i ask myself why did we tolerate Sahiba’s suffering if she was going to end up dead at the end this will forever hurt me it looks like makers made the series just to make Sahiba suffer because when was she ever at peace in the show and we never saw a bond between Akeer and Angad as well he only cried and shouted for Akeer but never spend time with his son TMD will be remembered as the show with best oufits, best actors, best music, beautiful functions set up,beautiful mansion but the worst and pathetic storyline this was my favourite show but it’s now my worst show in the history of itv for me…
@TMD I feel for you. You gave your 100% to this show, investing everything you had. I often visit forums and see people with more ideas and better-written stories to tell.
Unfortunately, even if we have great ideas, we lack the resources they have. Those with resources can continue to produce subpar storylines or pure garbage in the name of romance and still have the advantage because, in the end, it’s a business. Creativity and business should be balanced, but greed often tips the scale towards business. This results in the dilution of quality content in favor of profit.
It’s sad to see genuine passion and creativity get overshadowed by commercial interests. The best we can do is avoid their content altogether. Boycotting might give them negative publicity, and they thrive on money, and bad press often doesn’t impact their bottom line significantly. So avoid boycotting….
Instead, we can channel our frustration into something positive. Focus on creating fan art, writing stories on platforms like Wattpad, or participating in forums where our voices can be heard. There are communities out there that will appreciate and support your creativity. There are AO3 and FNN platforms too.
Let’s move on from this garbage and stay away from their future productions. By doing so, we can support and uplift each other’s creative stories and find satisfaction in our own artistic expression. Next time they release something, let’s just steer clear.
@pee TRUE
TMD is known for its music, aesthetic designs, and songs, and that’s it. They might have those aspects nailed down, but when it comes to storytelling and character development and romance, they fall short.
@Believer, very wise words and its true maybe a formal boycott for press may not be needed, but in essence, i.e. avoiding the channel and PH, is desperately needed. I feel bad I did actually give my 100 percent to this, but recognize my foolishness now. However, I do look forward to exploring writing myself and also the work of others….it’s true every where big business overshadows creativity….hence the recent writers stike in the US, but things have to change….In any case, I’m happy this is all over and giving my 100 percent to life now 🙂 !
@girliedude, I feel your pain too….not justice for Sahiba…Angad didn’t even say anything to her ghost beyond one sentence….just ready to wake up and profess his love for Gurnoor…it’s disgusting and even as an international viewer I wish my vote counted, but it’s mainly only Indian audiences views the makers try to gauge because they impact TRP, not us. But the makers and even cast are living in a bubble, if they think fans are happy with this ending!
hello pee not only indians rejected the show, im african canadian but was watching it as well. it was broadcastered internationally, so a lot people world wide rejected it especially after the leap was introduced. it seems that even other shows are being rejceted just based on lead characters if the people think that the jodi is not perfect by either one being ugly or dark skinned. we need to stop this mentality and follow the story. tmd had a good story but the industry especially ph and starplus went off truck and lost direction. they didi not focus on the story, just started changing it around to suit them. it seems they derailed from the narrative. it seems they ran out of ideas to complete the story so started throwing in any kind of shit that came to their mind. sometimes i think that this is not fiction but real life stories being told in form of fiction. i still can’t believe that we viewers had better ideas than the retard writers. starplus is an oppressor channel. it only give out small contents of the shows and put out more crapy commercials boring ones and if they have a leap comming or new show will advertise it for the entire show which becomes boring and useless. it needs to held accountable and forced out of bussiness. we are what keeps these shows running, if the viewers are not happy, the ratings fall and the show is forced off air such as it happened with tmd and other shows. i noticed now they have realized and attempting to do some changes with other shows but still will not work due to people are already frustrated with current stories. morever it the same shit in everyshow, just differnt characters but stories are similar, and mostly plagialized, but this tmd went too far with plagializm. glad it is over and off air, won’t even attempt to watch old episodes due to lost its meaning for me. only watched because of sahan as soon as seerat married garry forcefully and then started running after angad and angad gave her taht pleasure, i lost interset then but thought he would redeem himself for saiba, or that at least manveer will change and accept saiba but never did. so it is dead to most viewers with this unecessary ending, boring and useless. no justice for saiba come on.
@Pee, you said it all too and right on the money….it had the best cast, music, etc., and was really my favorite show, and the only thing i would consistently watch and wait for,….not it is probably the show I hate the most on ITV or on any other platform EVER. Yes, just seeing Sahiba enjoy little things in life, like school functions and actually stepping into the role as Angad’s wife, Akir’s mom, and her own businesswoman/artist, would have been great, but we’ll never get any answers…..I feel now that perhaps this was always in the cards…the makers never ever intended for Sahiba to be happy otherwise, they would have done so at least once, right….No sense in us racking our brains about this….we’ve become now the hardened and traumatized viewers, like our Forum Friends who had warned us about this PH from the beginning are…..let’s hope we do the same and warm future viewers of the next disaster in store for this PH to beware of this nonsense! Plus, I will say even if the makers knew what we wanted for Sahan, I don’t think it has registered with neither them nor the cast (hence VK + Himanshi posting a pic of Guran on Sahanday on IG thanking fans for their love to both couples) that this was a disaster of an ending and we didn’t want Guran…..they are living in a bubble and think just because the TRP didn’t move during the Guran track we were okay with everything…..maybe fans wanted this, but I do think most we’re watching in hope of Gurnoor being Sahiba, but I would suggest next time they hire an intern to monitor all platforms to see what the audience really wants!
@girliedude iam african too and on this side people were no longer happy about the show as well and you are right they lost the narrative story was about 3 sisters and 3 brothers but not even a single love story came out of the 6 of them not even the main couple lol all separated Angad Sahiba,Keerat Veer and Garry Seerat overally this was not a love story rather a crime show because we saw every crime there kidnapping, molestation, fraud and many more iam also glad it ended next time we should avoid this ph at any cost..
To all my forum friends that i interacted with here each and everyday@TMD@Justicebar@Beliver@Girliedude@Marielhouse@Aditi@Joy i enjoyed interacting with you all i enjoyed reading your comments and us talking about the show sometimes i enjoyed reading comments more than watching the episodes itself continents apart we became best friends here i i looked forward to each and everyone’s comments each and everyday here will miss you all lot and interacting with you we connected because of TMD too sad we did not get the ending we all wished for but we tried and to all my forum friends who used to comment and went silent maybe because they could no longer enjoy the show @KJ@Maame A@Silwini@Jade some names i have forgotten love you all my forum friends we wished for Sahan love story but we got a tragic end instead but after all we connected here because of our love of the show love you all guys goodbye👋👋
@Pee, I completely second everything you said. It was a pleasure interacting with you and all of our Forum Friends…I really looked forward to everyone’s comments (past and present), even when we disagreed or were completely aligned in our views or regardless of how good or mostly bad the show was. I think commenting and sharing our views helped us (or at least me) to deal with the trauma this show gave me, so I really thank everyone for their words of encouragement or trying to knock some sense into me when I had my not so little emotional meltdowns here….y’all are awesome and wishing you all good things….if a show does come along that is worthy of our time, hope to see you on a siimiliar forum….but au revoir for now!
I am so so heart broken that I don’t have the courage to even watch the last episode..From what you guys said it would be heartbreaking to see Angad say I love you to gurnoor in front of his entire family when he never did that for Sahiba and Gurnoor is getting all this so easily. It’s not fair and not a happy ending per se. Why they couldn’t have shown that Sahiba fall off click with Diljit and return back with memory loss. At least that way angad would have a realisation of his mistakes and also they would have been able to give us a new Sahan journey..really hope to see VJ and Himanshi together in some new project.
@Aditi, I know how you feel, we both we’re pretty sure that Gurnoor would be Sahiba for a while, and I’ll never understand why a simple memory loss track couldn’t have happened. We all knew a change was needed and Sahan needed to rebuild their relationship after the leap, so if they showed Sahiba with a new attitude coming back in a new avatar but as the same person with memory loss and then Sahan remarrying in the same clothes would have been absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to end the show….I would have watched the episode feeling happiness and lightness and happily let go, but I just now have a pit in my stomach and a headache…..Honestly, I should have stopped watching the show when Sahiba became pregnant and the media reported Sahan would separate….I could have lived in a delusional that maybe the ending wasn’t so bad…..I’m upset people are labeling this (even the title of this episode in the forum) is that it’s a Happy Ending…from what angle lol?….In any case, while you’re going to be even more heartbroken seeing the last episode, for me, I think I had to just to have the feeling that I saw this through and could let go..but I still feel bad. I do hope to see VJ + Himanshi together in a new show, if that ever happens, and hopefully it actually does justice for fans..but let’s see lol.
@Aditi, also wishing you well for everything ahead! Bye for now!
Same to you @TMD
This show had so much potential, I remember watching the first episode with my parents and I was like damn, this show is actually pretty good considering Indian dramas. I really liked the show and even defended it for a long time. When they killed Saibha, was when it became shit and I stopped watching. Now I found out that it ended. The makers couldve atleast given Saibha and Angad a proper storyline and acknowledged the plot holes. They literally had the perfect recipe to make the best Indian drama (in my opinion) and they just didnt do anything about it. They threw it away for nothing. Teri Meri Dooriyan was good until it lasted. I will still look back at the first 350ish episodes with a fond memory though. Also, I liked reading everyones comments here in this discussion post too.
@Anoyonmous Crocodile, I agree, killing off Sahiba was the worst decision and the makers had the perfect recipe from the start to make the show the best Indian drama. Everything before the six-year leap, even though it was filled was negativity, had some undeniable inherent charm, especially up to and including the Mumbai track, but ever since they reintroduced Gary, the show fell off. The charm came from Sahan and the music, but even the supporting actors too and the setting, but mainly all things Sahan!
@Marlielouise, I get your POV, but I respectfully disagree….this was not a happy ending by any means in my opinion, but I agree with @Anoyonmous Crocodile, if the makers had at least given Sahan a proper storyline and love story with happiness, even if they had killed off Sahiba because they ran out of ideas (while Angad acknowledging that Sahiba would always be the love of his life and be with her in the next lifetime), I could have digested Guran and Akeer….but here they completely replaced Sahiba, never showed a Sahan love story, and just showed an eternal love story with Angad and a completely different woman after one month, when most of wanted Sahan to have Punjab’s fifth love story for 500+ episodes.
well what must i say in one way i am happy angad moved on with gurnoor and akeer found a good foster mother in her i am glad evil zorwhar and his gang got punished because they were realy evil i am sorry manveer never got punished for her evil deeds and i also would have rather see gurnoor turn into sahiba because she realy had a horrible life by angad but it never was a mariage out of love because he wanted to marry seerat but she choose for gary and due to that her stupid mother forced her on angad brcause santosh was greedy for money and wanted her daughters to marry rich men instead of simple middle class people like themselves so the real blame for sahiba unhappy life was her own mother who did not care id angad would love her or not which he never did that is why she had such a horrible life he realy was very bad to sahiba but in the latest serial he realy fell in love with gurnoor and she realy fell in love with angad so not a forced mariage like with sahiba and what softened him a lot was she grew to love akeer and akor grew to love her this also must have played a role with him and in real life after one of us dies and the other is left behind alone that person has to move on you cannot stick in the past i think the mesage in this serial was stop with forced mariages in india they hardly ever work out and let everybody choose their own partner then many mariages would last longer but any mariage can go wrong after some time this is life but i realy enjoyed reading everybody coment and comunicating with eachother on this forum i wish all a lot of hapiness in life and perhaps we will meet on another site about another soap but let us hope that it will be less negative then this serial
Hello forum friends. I’m so sorry that I just had chance to reply and you all may not see this but yes I want to express my gratitude and joy in interacting with you all. Even with differing opinions we still were respectful and understanding of one another. I could not have asked for a better forum friends from all over the world. To be fair, I have never commented online about any series but I found it so good commenting here and opening up to you all with some beautiful ideas and wish for a series that has such a good potential in the beginning. It was good to connecting with you all and I hope one day if this PH ever get sense and produce a series that is good and satisfactory to us all, that we would meet on another forum again ( we can only hope 🙄). I wished we had a way to connect but we live in a strange world, who knows how we will still meet again.
Now for TMD! I was not really happy with the ending at the end of the day. I felt kinda hurt watching it especially with Sahiba shown as a spirit. Although I opened my mind to Angad again but at the end I felt so much injustice for Sahiba it was hard to even watch. The PH really did a number on us and destroyed a good series. But nevertheless it is over and we would do our best not to be duped by this toxic production house ever again.
To my forum friends @Pee @TMD @Aditi @Marielouise @BELIVER @KJ etc. and so many others that I can’t remember. It was great meeting matured minds like you all. I wish you all the very best and keep conquering.
