Actress Jigyasa Singh recently shot for her last day on the sets of Thapki Pyaar Ki 2. The actress got emotional as she gave her farewell speech. Jigyasa who garnered a lot of love for her role of Thapki had to leave the show due to health issues. Now the makers have roped in actress Prachi Bhansal to replace Jigyasa for the role of Thapki in the show.
Actor Aakash Ahuja who essays the role of Purab in the show talked about Jigyasa quitting the show in a recent interview and shared, “Needless to say, Jigyasa and I shared crackling chemistry. The viewers instantly connected with Thapki and Purab. I had great camaraderie with Jigyasa onscreen as well as off-screen as we’d build a great off-screen bond as well. The situation is unfortunate. Jigyasa herself didn’t want to quit but had to because of her health issues. I’m hoping to re-build the same chemistry with the new actress and I hope and wish that the viewers accept the same and shower the same amount of love to the show”.
Talking about the feedback from fans, Aakash said, “Well, honestly, it’s surprising for me to see that the fans are so understanding. They’ve comprehended the situation well and are wishing for Jigyasa’s speedy recovery while they keep on mentioning that they’ll miss her onscreen”.
