Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this episode, i will be uploading the next episode……
Shivaay’s Narration
(I, ME Will refer to Shivaay, You will refer to Anika )
Flashback 10 + Years Before:
It all started even before you (Anika) and I met in college….Oberoi Industries (OI) was in heavy losses , reason you know, we lost almost all tenders and this had an adverse impact on other businesses of OI …
My dad (Shakthi) , Bade papa (Tej) , Rana Uncle (Sid’s Dad), Khurrana Uncle (Daksh’s dad), Mallika’s dad and Kapoor Uncle (Tia’s dad) were all friends ….however Me, Tia and Mallika used to meet often but Sid and Daksh i hardly used to meet till my college (undergraduation)….
Among all these Kapoor Uncle , my dad and bade papa were much closer…..many times Kapoor uncle asked papa and bade papa to convert their friendship into relation…to which papa and bade papa smiled….however they never said yes to kapoor uncle or denied them….so Kapoor uncle always hoped me to be his son in law….slowly papa and bade papa were tuning and were almost positive for this relation...i never disagreed to papa and bade papa, and left the decision to them…..
Seeing the state of our business Kapoor uncle decided to help us financially….I was much against it, so bade papa and dad politely refused to take his help….i was trying my level best to bring the business on track, but was unable to revive it….
You remember on the day when we went to buy my first mobile , i dropped you and left for home…after that you came to OM…you found me nowhere…while returning you saw me and i was showing up dull…
That day after i dropped you home, bade papa and papa called me to their room…as i stepped in..they explained me that without external financial help we will not recover…when i questioned them as to from where they were going to take loan from…they said me clearly that it was from Kapoor uncle…….i was still against but, papa and bade papa convinced me to meet Kapoor uncle once and later decide….
That day we went to Kapoor Mansion…there the talks started and Kapoor uncle was ready to help us financially , but his only clause was i getting married to his daughter…..i clearly felt that , he was not helping his friends then , but he was making a deal out of friendship…i was much irritated with the way everything was going…i couldn’t retort then because i knew our financial condition was unstable…..papa and bade papa looked at me , and my face was already shrunk….they knew i didn’t like, but they were also tied by the situations…had we taken loan from bank, we had to pay interest , here Kapoor uncle demanded no interest…because he was buying me in return of helping us...and so bade papa agreed that he will let his decision known as soon as possible….after coming out of their house and when we were in car…bade papa asked me to think of the relation as they were all good and their daughters were also good…….I simply nodded my head, but my thoughts were revolving around you Ms.Surpanaka….
From then on i was literally avoiding Tia and her family as much as i can, because whenever i saw her or her family, the deal they have put got reminded….i started to move away from them and my only relief was you…..
The major shock arrived when Dinky maasi came and revealed that Kriti’s marriage was going to happen with Nishanth Malhotra and the mediator was Sanjana , sister of Tia and daughter of Kapoor uncle…….
I started to analyse things from then on….and it was clear , that they were showering favours on not only us but my relatives too…i was against the marriage and that was the real reason for many days i didn’t participate in any marriage works of Kriti…but after you stepped in and explained me i had to eventually give in….
I was happy that Malhotra’s were really good and Kriti would be happy…touchwood !!!! she is really happy now with her kids and family…..
After Kriti’s marriage we got busy in our projects and exams and i forgot the fact about Kapoors and their proposal….but after the exams ended …a major incident occurred in OM….that was when i sent you a message that i will be out for a week and may not contact you…..
We got a notice of going bankrupt and the huge amount we took from market have to be repaid within a span of three months….the amount we took from market was considerably high and looking at the state of business it was practically not possible to repay it even in 6 months, because there were no buyers for us….everyone of us were in extreme stress and the only option that was open was to take the amount from Kapoor uncle…..
As expected Kapoor uncle came after we invited him ….he agreed to help , but his clause was same…I getting married to his daughter Sanjana……..while everyone including me thought that Kapoor uncle planned for my and Tia’s relation….it was never Tia and I , it was always Sanjana and I that ran in Kapoor uncles mind…because he knew Tia loved Dushyanth a lot and he already fixed her marriage with Dushyanth……
I knew Tia very well, but Sanjana i never knew anything much about her, because she used to stay in London….whatever i knew about her was through Kriti or sometimes from Tia…
We all were shocked with the proposal Kapoor uncle had put up…but we had no other go…so bade papa looked at me and agreed to his proposal…Kapoor uncle informed us that once the engagement of me and Sanjana gets over , he will directly repay the amount to the investors from the market…..
It was the same time you were trying to find about the one who was behind the losses of the tenders of Oberoi Industries….on the other hand we are getting ourselves ready for a new tender that would bring us out of the bankruptcy condition to maximum extent…..
I had my plans of breaking the relation somehow, so i didn’t inform or share with you anything and was trying to handle the situation….on the other hand you were trying to help us out…but what we both never knew was, we were trying for stabilising the situation of OI….
In that meantime, Tia arrived to your home….Remember Tia gave two invitations…weren’t you surprised why will she give two invitations…she knew you will be shocked, surprised and aghast and the same happened…
The engagement of Tia and Dushyanth and Me and Sanjana was fixed on same day in OM….none of our family members were happy…as you know my mom, dadi, badi mom everyone wanted you to be the Daughter in law of that house…
But Ms.Surpanaka the mail that you sent regarding the Binami company that was behind the loss of all tenders , changed everything that day…..
I was getting ready for the engagement with no hope and sat before my system to send out a final mail to you , letting you know what all happened and why i am getting engaged, so that you wouldn’t take me wrong….but when i opened my mailbox, i saw your mail….you gave me the new hope and i knew and got elated that, i need not get engaged because if i find that binami company we will not lose next tender….i ran and went to bade papa and papa and discussed and showed your mail to them….they were also surprised because , they knew Kapoor uncle owned that Binami company….However Bade papa didn’t want to destroy the happiness of Tia and Sanjana…i cleared him that i would never want to get engaged or married to Sanjana as i have already given my heart to you Ms.Surpanaka….Bade papa and Papa were more than happy to bring you as the daughter-in-law of Oberoi Family….
Bade papa asked Kapoor uncle to let Tia and Dushyanth’s engagement to take place….their engagement took place and then my bade papa took Kapoor uncle, his wife and Sanjana aside …me, Dadi, Mom , papa and badi mom also went along…bade papa made it clear to Kapoor uncle that he doesn’t want this, i mean my and Sanjana’s relation to happen…and he doesn’t want to take any financial help from them….Kapoor uncle was stunned with this new development…he asked us many times the reason, but we didn’t say them a word as we never wanted to make him alert on the situation….i apologised Sanjana and said her, that it was good everything has got sorted before engagement, so she should be happy that nothing wrong has happened with her….i wished her all the best….
Then came the shocker with you stepping in at Oberoi Mansion….The night of engagement you just looked at me and felt that i was happy because i was willing to get engaged to Sanjana …but i was happy because i was thinking that i will be getting engaged to you very soon….the ring in my finger, i wore myself to see how would it look when you slide it in my finger….you mistook everything ….you thought i was already engaged…you thought i played with your emotions…you were hurt and were going back….that was when i noticed a smirk on Sanjana’s face…..when i looked at the direction of her sight ..i saw you were leaving…i followed you…and then saw Raghav taunting you…i listened to your response and knew you were shattering….everything seemed slipping out of my hands…i composed myself and came to you…but you never listened to me….i could understand how you felt….i lost even after winning you…you left me ….
I was also shattered and fell down holding my chest…i didn’t knew what happened after, when i opened my eyes i was in hospital and was diagnosed with Heart problem…everyone tried to cheer me up, but i lost my smile that day….we all searched for you, but you were never seen….
The next tender we got and we are getting slowly out of financial losses…that was when we got a mail from your friend, which you said was actually you, notifying us about the security threats….so i planned to give the project to that company, where is assumed you to be working , so that i can find you…but you were very smart, you escaped everytime without being caught….and then you know how i changed the technologies and companies following your words ……
Oberoi Industries retained it’s position back and became more powerful in 5 years….that’s when we started the world technology and business quiz….this was solely for you, because i always believed that our bond formed with a competition and you were talented in business and technology….i was just living with your memories all these years….
With Sahil coming to India , i knew i would very soon meet you…but before meeting you, you again saved us……
Till then we were thinking that all these cyberattacks to destroy Oberoi Industries were done by random people , who were jealous of us…but the last report that you sent us regarding the companies and person, made us go shocked….we always thought that Kapoor uncle was behind the loss of tenders , when he many times said that he wasn’t behind anything….we never expected it to be Sanjana behind all this…. when you sent me the proofs then i confronted her and she revealed everything…..
Sanjana was a student of London College of computers and Technology, UK…she was also a student of Ethical hacking….She liked me right from her teenage…and she wanted to marry me…i never or to say very less interacted with her….but she made it clear to Kapoor uncle that she wants to marry me and no one else…that’s the reason why kapoor uncle always talked to bade papa of converting friendship into relation…but nothing was getting materialised as i wasn’t interested….so she decided to gain me by hook or crook…when the talks weren’t fruitful…she made a plan to go the professional way…that’s when she put up a binami company under kapoor industries and did all those hacking stuffs…Sanjana was always keeping an eye on both of us…it was she who used to make me realise that kapoors were doing favours by helping us and all this by instigating Tia ….Sanjana always had a doubt that we both were more than friends….she desperately wanted to separate us……she always made you feel that, i and Tia had something between us, because….Sanjana was never in picture, but she ran everything behind the scenes….Tia did everything Sanjana said , because Tia loved her sister as any other siblings would do….Sanjana knew that i have hidden all this from you….so she played her final masterstroke by sending Tia to your house on the day of engagement….and we weren’t aware of this …….. when the truth of binami company was out…we made ourselves pretty far from Kapoor uncles family…but this hurt the ego of Sanjana to the maximum….so she picked up her pace and was on constant motive to destroy us with cyber attacks….
With your official report we finally decided to go the legal way……..and thus she was arrested two days before…..
But all this was never known to Tia….Tia felt guilty when she came to know after the engagement day that Kapoor uncle has cheated us..she came to us and apologised….we knew she was innocent , so we had to forgive her….so our friendship continued…but now she got a real jolt that it was her sister Sanjana , who was the mastermind behind everything…i tried to speak to her, but she was depressed…i thought to give her time …….

Anika eyes widened in shock and she had no words to say after listening the truth…she smiled on her 2rs fate that, how foolish was she to go far way from him….Shivaay understood Anika’s thoughts and got up and sat…he held Anika’s hand and said
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…i never wanted to trouble you by sharing this when we were together”
Anika looked at him
Anika ”why Mr.Ritchie Rich…did you feel i was not worthy of being trusted by you or you felt i was not strong enough to handle?”
Shivaay ”nooo…nooo…not at all…i knew how stressed you were in handling your home single handedly…i never thought of giving you extra burden by telling you all this…i wanted to settle everything first and let you know….i wanted to continue my life with you and wanted to ensure that you will never have to face any other problems…in short i wanted you to be stress free and so i did that…”
Anika ”and was the outcome Mr.Ritchie Rich…we both were continuously stressed for several years”
Shivaay ”i agree…i am at fault for not sharing these matters …you are right , had i said you everything when you asked me, you would have brought out this truth much earlier and we would never have got separated”
Anika ”so you deserve a punishment for this”
Shivaay ”anything you would give, i am ready to accept and do”
Anika ”Fine…then your punishment is..you will convince all your family members to forgive me for whatever i have done”
Shivaay eyes widened to the maximum, he gulped down his saliva
Shivaay ”this is not possible…i know how they will react initially after they see you…and you are giving me the toughest job to convince them”
Anika ”you agreed to my condition…now it’s your head ache….i donno know how you will make this happen”
Shivaay ”you are very smart Ms.Surpanaka”
Anika ”did you realise it now?”
Shivaay ”i am experiencing it now, realisation i had very much earlier”
Anika smiled and held his hand sandwiching between her hands and said
Anika ”i was kidding…we both were at fault….not sharing the matter was your fault and not listening to you was my fault…we have undergone pain..but the rest others have undergone much more than what we underwent …i have done mistake by going away from them…so i must try hard to gain their love back…i donno what to do..but i will do everything to get back my place in their hearts”
Shivaay put his other hand on hers and said
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka …i will help you in your every effort…as i am bound to help you …ad you know half of the mistake was mine too…”
Anika rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes…Shivaay pampered her…..they were enjoying those blissful moments as everything was clear now…….
After sometime Shivaay’s mobile rang and a smile appeared on his face…..Anika looked at him and frowned her eyebrows
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka before you ask me let me tell you…i have some surprises planned for you….so shall we go?”
Anika ”surprises? what surprises?”
Shivaay ”if i tell you now, how will i see your shocked surprised and glowing face …so don’t ask anything and just come with me”
Anika ”okay”
Shivaay ”can’t believe you agreed so fast”
Anika ”i am Anika..so expect the unexpected..by the way i have a question?”
Shivaay ” i was waiting why didn’t you start with your questions till now? what are you waiting for…go ahead ask”
Anika ”very funny…i just wanted to ask, when did you plan the surprise…i mean”
Shivaay pulled her towards him and pecked her lips and said huskily ”Ms.Surpanaka, i came here long before and planned the surprise…i was late to meet you in the morning because i was instructing everyone their works…”
Anika ”good you came on time, else i was about to go away”
Shivaay ”i knew you wouldn’t go this time without leaving me…because ”
Anika ”because?”
Shivaay ”because i would have not let you gone without meeting me..in short i prepared myself to take you with me as my mine forever”
Anika blushed and he entwined his fingers with hers and walked towards his car…she pulled him and kissed him on his cheeks……
They both sat and drove to the same hotel where they resided 11 years back….Anika looked at the hotel and then at Shivaay
Anika ”why did you bring me here”
Shivaay ”because you own this now”
Anika ”whaat?”
Shivaay ”close your mouth else mosquitos will not take a moment to enter”
Anika ”but…but…i mean why?” she had tears in her eyes
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…this was the first property i bought with my own earnings and i was waiting for you to inaugurate it…this i always wanted to give it to you…i have waited much…so please now don’t start with your tears…by the way wait before you inaugurate there is something else to look forward”
Anika ”now what?”
Shivaay took her to the nameplate which was covered …he asked Anika to open the covers by pulling the ribbon…Anika did so…the name plate read as
”Mr & Mrs. ANIKA SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI ”
Anika had tears of happiness…she turned and hugged him….
Shivaay ”didn’t you like it?”
Anika ”i loved it…you have tagged my name to yours…very rare this happens…i just can’t express how am i feeling now”
Shivaay ”and you don’t even have an idea how i am feeling seeing you so happy…i can give my life to see you happy”
Anika ”shut up Mr.Ritchie Rich, don’t you ever dare to say that again….”
Shivaay ”accha ok…Sorry”
Anika ”better”
Shivaay ”now shall we step in? and will you do honours of cutting the ribbon and do the inauguration of Your hotel?”
Anika ”okk…you know i am very excited”
Shivaay ”i can see that”
Anika cut the ribbon to inaugurate the hotel…the moment she cut the ribbon…claps were heard …Anika looked at the direction of claps and she had tears running down……..she held Shivaay’s hand tight and looked at him…he too was feeling emotional then and pressed her hand tight looking at the persons standing before them….
