Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this Teaser/Prologue, i will be uploading the next episodes……

Few days Passed by and then came the notice about the first event for them THE FRESHER’S PARTY…all the students except Anika and Shivaay were excited……
Sid ”Shivaay….let’s get ready for the party man…we are gonna rock it”
Shivaay ”I will think of attending it Sid”
Daksh ”What the hell are you saying?”
Shivaay ”Did you forget after the Freshers is the first semester, and before that we have fourth internal…i can’t afford to lose the challenge this time…also you all know very well that i am not so interested or inclined towards party’s”
Tia ”ohh Please Shivaay…don’t talk like that girl…what do you call her Ms.Surpanka…yeah …please…come on you are Shivaay Singh Oberoi…even if you party still you can manage to win this time….and by the way semester is after two weeks of the party not the next day…and …and …not to forget those two weeks are preparation holidays too…”
Mallika ”yeah Shivaay…come on yaar…this is college life, we don’t get these days after two years…i know studies are important and even that challenge, but friends should also be important right?”
Daksh ”By the way …party is on saturday and every saturday we all meet up and chill at either of our houses…so assume we are chilling out with all our classmates…including Ms.Surpanka”
Daksh spoke giving hifi to rest three except Shivaay
Shivaay ”Okkk…Fine…..”

Mamta ”Huh…finally some relief after hell lot of studies….if getting an admission in this college is one uphill task…then scoring and learning is another giant task….God save me..but i am happy…i will plan from now onwards, what to wear , what to buy…all these”
Mamta spoke all excitedly while Anika, Madhuri and Rajni were giggling….
Anika ”Whatever you wear , you will look the best Ms.Beauty Queen…..but yeah , you must do lots of shopping , why not” she spoke winking at all the three
They all were hitting each other playfully enjoying their break time , except Anika the other three were discussing about clothes, accessories, heels and about party, while Anika listened to them smiling……Shivaay looked Anika’s this chirpy side for the first time…unknowingly a smile adorned his lips…very soon he brought up his serious face and continued chatting with his gang
Rajni ”Anika…why are you not saying about your to be preps for Fresher’s party?”
Anika was about to answer when Mamta screamed ”Don’t just say , you will not be attending the party….i will faint if you say so…”
Anika looked at her and said ”it’s true …i will not be able to join”
Madhuri ”but Why?”
Anika ”nothing …my everyday schedules are fully packed , i can’t be able to skip all those for the party…moreover you know about my brother Sahil, he needs me during weekends, that’s the day we spend lots of time with each other…he will be disappointed if i go to a party alone..” she lied
Anika TAM ”I too want to come along…but what happened in the past i can never forget….also my financial status doesn’t allow me to come there…i am also a girl…i too want to look good if not beautiful…but i have no decent clothes to wear for the party and i know if i shop for some good dress to wear on that day, my budget would hit badly…and i cannot make fun of myself coming as a joker to the party…and above all bua ji…she will just kick me out if i even take the name of party..last time during my bachelor’s course whatever happened had made my life miserable..she had not allowed me to take food for two whole days…and if this time i say i am sure she will take off the roof above me for how many days, i can’t say…”
A layer of tears formed in her eyes and she composed …and again thought ”well why am i thinking so negative…i can utilise this time for my studies …at the end of the day all i need is that golden eagle, which will pave better chances for a really good job…i have promised to get settled properly, so that i can provide everything that Sahil asks for and then will party everyday” she smiled sadly
Mamta put her hand on Anika and said ”Anika…tell me the truth…is Sahil the sole reason or is there something else because of which you are not coming?”
Madhuri ”yes Anika…if there is any other problem…then we promise to help you in your every thick and thin”
While they were talking Raghav who was passing by listened to their convo ”Ohh so Ms.Surpanaka as expected you are not coming…thank God otherwise i am sure , even in the party you would have sat at a corner with commerce and Finance books in hand…by the way ..sorry to say…you don’t fit for any party, because you just don’t know how to enjoy life…seriously…i have never seen such a girl who doesn’t care for her looks even 0.1 %..but cares for her books 150%” he spoke in such a high volume that everyone in the class heard
All the students except Shivaay, Mamta, Madhuri and Rajni were into splits ……while everyone thought Anika would give it back to Raghav , to everyone’s surprise, Anika for the first time broke down listening to Raghav’s words…tears broke down her eyes….she picked up her bag and ran towards the library….Shivaay unknowingly got agitated with Raghav’s words and closed his fists……Tia looked on
Mamta, Rajni and Madhuri quickly got up to follow Anika not before scolding Raghav for his insensitive behaviour
Anika sat back in an empty chair picking up a random book crying silently, she tried to wipe her tears, which did not stop, making the page of the book she held, wet…..few incidents ran down her mind because of which those words by Raghav broke her down…..Mamta, Madhuri and Rajni reached Anika and whispered her to come back to class as there was only 15 min for the lunch hour to end…Anika wiped her tears and said that she was okay and will be back to class no matter what in another 10 min she will be in the class…they obliged and left from there sadly…
Shivaay who followed Mamta and Co, silently looked at Anika from a safer distance and stayed back till Anika got up to move to her class…..soon after Anika reached the stairs to go to the classroom, Shivaay held her hand from behind……Anika was horrified as shivers of fear ran down her spine…she turned back and was surprised to look at Shivaay holding her hand
Anika ”do you also have anything to taunt about me…if yes do it fast , as i can’t afford to be late to class” she spoke rude but with pain
Shivaay ”Are you okay?” he asked rather calm
Anika ”Whaaat?”
Shivaay ”I asked are you okay?”
Anika ”What happened to me…i am fine…perfectly fine…nothing can break me down so easily”
Shivaay ”Ohh really…then why did those big tears drop down your eyes, with Raghav’s words?”
Anika ”none of your business”
Shivaay ”Ohh God…what sort of a person are you…i can’t believe …i was just asking out of concern and you are behaving so rude”
Anika ”exactly…why are you concerned about me? we are not friends..infact we are just strangers who study in same class and same institution …nothing else…so logically, you must not be concerned…now if you leave my hand i will leave from here..i have an important class to attend”
Shivaay left her hand in rage….”I wish you cry ,breakdown and suffer many more times” he left in anger
Anika’s heart got pinched and she too followed Shivaay towards the class…..

the same day after college…….
Tia ”Shivaay…today mom has dropped me to college and i have no car to travel back, so will you drop me till home”
Shivaay ”yeah sure…come”
They both sat in car…Shivaay was driving when Tia was trying to start a serious conversation
Shivaay ”you wanna say something?”
Tia ”hmmm…..”
Shivaay ”from when did you start feeling uncomfortable to talk to me”
Tia ”you may not like what i will be going to speak”
Shivaay ”really? Then i will definitely want to listen…go ahead”
Tia ”it’s about Anika”
Shivaay ”Anika…he applied the brake” and looked at her
Tia ”Yes..it’s about Anika and you ”
Shivaay resumed driving ”what? say it? i am all ears”
Tia ”I don’t know why, but i am seeing you are getting effected by her…”
Shivaay ”what do you mean?”
Tia ”When the professor got replaced …Anika looked at you and you without blinking stared at her…then while she smiled , you were lost in her…today when Raghav made fun of her, you were so much agitated that i thought you would just thrash him…later you followed her friends to know about her….finally you held her hand and were concerned about her…all these relate to only one thing…you are getting affected by her”
Shivaay ”ohh…so you were constantly observing , stalking and spying on me…Tia there is nothing like what you are thinking….she is just a competitor for me..nothing else…yeah may be i am thinking amore about her because …you know…till date none has really given me so much competition…so may be that’s why…so relax…i am still SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI..the same , who doesn’t care about anyone except his near and dear ones”
Tia ”i really wish you are saying truth…and you know the reason too why am saying so”
Shivaay ”Tia…please not again..i don’t want to talk about that”
Tia felt bad and insecure ……she scared losing her friendship and relation with Shivaay because of Anika…..
Tia TAM ”It’s better, if she doesn’t attend the party else i am gonna screw her up in Fresher’s party”
Shivaay ”Now don’t get carried away in thoughts …i guess you need a coffee…shall we go to the cafe’?”
Tia ”off course…” she smiled
Soon they reached one of the top notch cafe and took their seats…….

Mamta-Madhavi-Rajni (MMR) met at another cafe
Mamta ” I think Anika is hiding something from us…it’s not about her schedules but someother reason , because of which she is denying to come ”
Madhuri ”Even i too feel the same..she hides her personal life…i mean see we asked her where she lives , she denied to say the locality too….”
Rajini ”I think we must follow her and may be then we can know something about her…only then”
Mamta ”only then we can convince her to make it to the fresher’s party…Anika will reach the bus-stop very soon…so i think we must hurry up”
