CHAPTER 2 : MY HOUSE MY RULES
RECAP: THE FIRST ENCOUNTER
TWINKLE”S POV
“Twinkle I am sorry I need to leave Mahi has cravings and Kunj is a good guy His family and Mahi’s family are pretty close” Bhai said kissing my forehead “.. and Kunj if Twinkle is angry I would say you rather keep your head down and don’t say anything “ Bhai said hugging him “Bhai I don’t get angry “ I said narrowing my eyes at him “ See this is when you keep you head down and leave “ Bhai said laughing and practically running out of the house
“Bhai give my love to Mahi bhabhi and my champ” I said closing the door
“How about some love for me ?” Kunj asked I could feel his hot breath on my neck and I feel its difficult for me to breath it makes me feel so hot all I can think about his turning around and kissing the hell out of him control Twinkle control “You know you don’t have to control your feeling about me I know everyone wants a piece of this “He said smirking pointing at himself and I could see his abs through his shirt and I could just imagine how his abs would feel under my touch “Twinkle” He called me out grinning as if exactly knew what was I thinking Urgh !!!!!!!!!!!
“See Mister now this is the living room this is the kitchen and this is the bed room” I said showing him around the house “ This is my balcony and this is my swing” I said taking a seat in my swing “Okay so do you have any do’s and don’s “ He asked “1.Well since you know how much I love dogs NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE “ I said and he chuckled “ 2.The toilet seat should be down when you leave after finishing your business

When I am in the house the TV remote belongs to me 4.Switch of the light and fan when you leave the room 5.We have a maid to clean the house and cook but if you want you can cook on your own Do you know how to cook? “ I asked him and I nodded I don’t mind getting ready made food he said “Now can I go and sleep “ He asked walking towards my room “What the hell where do you think you are going mister thats my room “ I said almost sprinting out of the swing that I was about to fall and I closed my eyes cursing myself but I never fell down I felt his arms around and me and my hands wrapped around his neck like it is the most normal thing to do we were actually lost in each others eyes that it felt like minutes after I realised we were in such an awkward moment
“Umm.. I was going to sleep” he said pointing towards my room “Yeah well see I thought UV said I was sharing a room with a girl so we could share the rom but now …” I said not continuing the line “Yeah so what should we do ?” He asked “Umm well you can sleep on the couch “ I said “Why I am paying the rent its not that I am staying here for free “ He said “So” I said walking towards my room sitting crossed leg on my bed” “I should also get a chance to sleep on the bed “He said pouting and his lips no twinkle don’t go there I thought looking back to his eyes he looked tired “Okay so see there is no way in hell that I am going to let you sleep with me “ I said and he was about to say something when I stopped him using my hand “ Listen we will sleep on the bed taking chances like today since you are tired you can sleep on the bed but tomorrow it’s my turn” I said and he nodded “So can I ?” He said pointing towards the bed and I nodded my head getting up from the bed he removed his shirt and dropped himself on the bed his back is so well toned and hot I thought “I know the view is amazing Miss. Makanmalkin but I don’t think I can sleep knowing the fact that someone is staring at me” he said burring his face into the pillow.
“Good morning sunshine” I heard someone say and I jumped up “Hey chill it’s just me “ I heard “Dude I know I told you about sleeping on the bed and couch alternately but we need a couch-cum bed “I said rubbing my back and neck siting up “ Umm okay I would get it before you comeback” he said “Don’t you have to go to work ? “I asked walking to the kitchen to drink some water and he followed me “I am here for a break and work from home “ He said “Oh “ I said when I heard the bell ring and I walked towards the door “Umm Twinkle do you think its okay to open the door if you are in this “ He said pointing to my outfit which was a long shirt which was an inch above my thigh “Oh..” I said pulling the hem a bit down and I could see Kunj’s eyes darken and he messed his hair a bit by passing his hand through his hair but I still walked towards the door I knew exactly who it was “Good morning Kamla Maushi” I said “Gud morning Baby ji” she said walking inside “Maushi you look beautiful today “ I said closing the door “Th-ank uh “ Baby ji she said “how are you ?” She said narrowing her eyes on Kunj “Maushi how nahi who” I corrected her “Ha same to same “ she said “Maushi he is Mahi bhabhi’s family’s friend “ I said and she nodded “Maushi I wont be home for lunch but Kunj would be so can you prepare something for him “ I asked walking towards my room to pick out my outfit “ Ji baby ji and babyji I need a leave my daughter and son-in-law are coming home with my grandson they would be here for 5 days so can I take a leave ?” She asked and I nodded and I gave her some money “ Buy your grandchild a present from my side “I said She smiled so brightly and I smiled back and I walked in to get ready
“Umm Maushi this is so yummy “I heard Kunj say “Baba when I come back I will teach you how to make this “ Maushi said patting Kunj’s head lovingly while he was eating.
“Maushi you are mine and you cant be in his team “ I said walking up to the table taking an apple and rushing out “Baby ji breakfast “Maushi said holding my hand “Maushi” I said giving her a puppy dog look but I know she is so immune to it and then her famous do-what-I-say-or-it-wont-be-good-for-you look made me take a seat and I heard Kunj chuckle but then he almost choked and I did the most embracing thing I stuck my tongue out to him way to go Twinkle way to being mature

The beautiful night with the love of my life is so calming I missed this so much just because of the jerk I have to share it with him

20 HOURS AGO ….
“Bhagvanji why am I so stupid and childish I JUST DID NOT but I DID I stuck my tongue out at him I actually had to run out of my own house embarrassed You should have put more of common sense in me while I was in line and maybe a bit more of height and beauty and brains well Don’t think I am crazy its just that whats wrong in trying maybe some day when you know he is listening to me he can actually give me more of all the things I asked for” I thought unlocking my beautiful car though its a simple black sedan car it looks beautiful and its drive is smooth I am not actually the cliche girl who does not know about things like cars and all the thing is that I not very fascinated by cars and bikes I sure as hell love riding them but the brand name does not bother me the same goes with clothes I don’t give a damm about the brand of my clothes all I care is how they look on me even if they are from the street shops
Putting on my seatbelt I moved my car out of the parking lot and opened the window since its February in Mumbai its not that hot but not that cold either its actually perfect and I love this weather.
“Good Morning Maya” I greeted our head nurse supervisor she is a very young but talented women at a young age she is the best we could have well its sad that she has to leave she is going to get married soon and her future in-laws don’t want her to work after marriage she respects her family and his family and that is why she complied to that I just hope that maybe after her husband gets to know her he supports her.
“Nurse can you give these files to Dr.Luthra” I said handing her the files wearing my apron I walked into the children’s ward I am a paediatric surgeon by profession Good morning Rohan” I said messing his hair “Twinki ” He said annoyed setting his hair back I love it he looks so cute “What ?” I said acting innocent “Good morning Aradhna” I greeted his mom who smiled back in response Rohan is a 7 year old patient of mine “Never mind I am anyhow going to loose all my hair from che…chemistry” He thought recalling “Chemotherapy” I said with a smile “Chemotherapy” he said correcting himself feeling proud of himself but that smile vanished as quickly as it came it turned into a sad look he is suffering from Undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver (UESL) his tumour is big and we haven’t found a donor for his liver he was actually adopted so his parents Liver isn’t a match for him plus his blood type is rare its B -ve
“Oh Rohan its okay you know right your hair can grow back again you know that right” I said “No Twinki you don’t understand” he said feeling sad this is the same topic we discuss everyday I looked at his mom who looked sadder then ever I feel so bad for her “Sorry to disturb but I kind of heard your conversation” I heard a familiar voice that I wasn’t expecting to hear we turned around and saw the owner of the voice in all his glory “Hey man I am Kunj and you must be Rohan ” he shaked hands with Rohan while he saw his name on the chart and Rohan well he seemed to look at Kunj in aww well maybe even I was looking at him in aww he looked amazing in his white t-shirt which kind of outlined his abs taking my eyes off his abs I looked up and saw him looking at Rohan with a feeling I never knew this jerk have he had sympathy for him
Then I suddenly came up with this amazing idea “Rohan do you like Kunj bhaiya’s hair” I asked him pointing at Kunj’s hair All Rohan could do was nod he was so awed by Kunj it was like he was start stroked by him whats so great about him any way “LIAR LIAR” my conscience were literally shouting inside my head I swear these consciences of mine would actually embarrass me someday breaking out of my trance I saw 2 cute and adorable confused looking faces looking at me One was Rohan and the Other one was Kunj what the hell I just actually called Kunj cute and adorable “get a grip Twinkle” I said before smiling and turning my attention to Rohan “Do You know how Kunj bhaiya has such nice hair ?” I asked Rohan and he shook his head in a no so cute “ Well when he was your age his hair was not that nice you know infant it was very bad so his mom shaved his head and then his hair started to grow like this” I told Rohan who was know actually looking like he was thinking something “Bhaiya was your hair before you shaved it better or worse then mine ?” He asked touching his hair “Well to be honest buddy my hair was way worst as compared to yours but now look at them they look so good right “ Kunj said thankfully playing along “Twinki I am ready to shave my hair so I can get better hair than Bhiya once they grow back”he said agreeing to shave his hair and was not sad about it his mom looked happy too but not completely I know she would feel better only when he gets cured completely Rohan asked Kunj to visit him again and Kunj surprisingly agreed to it moving out of the room I turned to face Kunj “Why the hell are you even here weren’t you supposed to buy the sofa-cum-bed well if you don’t get one you might have to sleep on the sofa which by the way is small for your giant-as* self and its quite hard well why do I care I get to sleep on my bed” I said while he looked at me amused with an amused expression “WOW you can actually speak a lot in one breath without stopping I thought UV was just bluffing” was all he said “Shut up and tell me why are you here ?” I asked him again “I am here to get the keys you see I went to the shop to buy the sofa-cum bed but on my way back I realised I don’t have a key and I did not even have your number so I called UV who asked me to come here and take a spar key from him apparently he has one so when I collected the keys from him I heard the conversation so I dropped by and then you know what happened” he narrated the events “Okay so now you have the keys right ?” I asked and he dangled the keys infront of me “Good so now go home and Kunj
“Well I never knew you liked my hair so much and don’t think I did not see you drooling over my body when I entered the ward ” he stated cockily “No well I think they look like shit and me drooling over you well it’s good to dream on but just try to be a bit realistic ” I said crossing my arms which I think was actually a big mistake because his eyes moved down to my bre*sts “Eyes up here mister” I said snapping my fingers infront of him “Well that was not what I suppose you were thinking when you gave my amazingly awesome hair as an example” He said smirking god he looked so hot “Well he seemed to like you and idealise you so I used your example” I said “Okay sweat pea whatever helps you sleep at night and for your information my hair has been this amazing since the day I was born ” he replied giving me that boyish smile that looked so s*xy and charming and he walked away.
After a day full of checking up on follow up patients and thankfully not performing any emergency surgery on kids I returned home at 9 Dinner was ready and so was the table the sofa-cum-bed was back in colour and easily blended with the rest of the furniture he does have a good taste well on the dinner table I was alone not that I mind I am used to eating alone but the fact that he wasn’t here bothered me a bit he had left a note saying that he had already had his dinner and he was going to be late
