Junior actor and comedian Tirthanand Rao, known by his stage name Junior Nana Patekar, recently made a distressing revelation on social media. During a live interaction, he shared his emotional turmoil, attributing it to a woman he had been involved with. Tirthanand expressed his desire for justice and held the woman responsible for his current state, stating that if anything untoward were to happen to him, she should be held accountable. It was revealed that the woman, who has two daughters, had a live-in relationship with him.
In his account, Tirthanand described being emotionally manipulated and claimed that the woman had extorted money from him, leading to a debt of Rs 3-4 lakhs. He disclosed their association since October and mentioned that despite her filing a complaint against him in Bhayandar, she would still contact him and request meetings.
During the narration of the incident, Tirthanand grabbed an insect repellant bottle, pouring its contents into a glass, and proceeded to consume it, attempting to end his life. He emphasized that if any harm befell him, the woman should be held accountable. Subsequently, concerned friends contacted the nearest police station, who promptly rushed him to the hospital. He was discovered in an unconscious state.
Tirthanand Rao has made appearances in a few episodes of the television series Wagle Ki Duniya as well.
