The News- RiAnsh OS IMMJ2

Dadi: Enough! Not a word! We will see then who wins! Whether it’s a girl or boy, I don’t mind. Now let the parents- to- become enjoy their happiness. Let’s go! (everyone left)

Vansh: Listen, from now on you aren’t going to take any stress, you’re not going to work at all! (commanding)

Riddhima: Vansh (taking his hand in hers) I’m just Pregnant! It’s not a punishment

Vansh: I know that. And from now on, whatever you want will be brought to you!

Riddhima: do you want to jail me in here!

Vansh: No, but I’m telling you the precautions. (he worried) will I be a good dad?

Riddhima: Of course Vansh! I believe you, The Great Vansh Rai Singhania shouldn’t doubt his capabilities, you can do everything, and you do it so perfect. So why are you scared now. We have each other, we will help each other. We have such caring and loving family, everything will be fine! (assuring) But you won’t stop loving me when I grow fat right? (made a puppy face)

Vansh: Aww look at my baby! She’s insecure! (teasing) look (cupping her face) no one can ever replace you in my life, you will always be my first and last love! You don’t need to be insecure. (she nodded, and he kissed her forehead then on her stomach) I’m waiting for you (he whispered to the baby) But for now I will go arrange a few things. I’ll send Ishani and Sia to you! And from now on you have to follow me(stern) No Ziddhima!

Vansh was very careful with her. In those days he became extra protective of her. He was really excited to have his own child, he wanted to be the best father ever. While Riddhima, was enjoying being pampered. She was an orphan and always wanted her happy family, she finally did get it. She want to love her child like anything. She took extra care but was mesmerized upon how Vansh loved her and took care of her. The morning sickness disturbed her a lot, it drained her completely. Vansh hated seeing her like that but was always there for her. Her morning sickness improved but her mood swings were a trouble on Vansh.

3 months later

VANSHH RAI SINGHANIA!!!!!! A scream used to be heard every day. It shook the whole mansion. Ishani, Sia, Aryan used to laugh at Vansh, while Dadi and Chanchal used to pity him. They understood what Riddhima went through. Vansh, suffered by that scream every day. It was like entering a lion’s den when she screamed. The Vansh Rai Singhania who was never scared of anything, was scared of this. Different things used to take place every day. One day would be the colour of the bedsheet, another would be his perfume, another day it would be his shoes, another day would be his coats. Everyday, some things were thrown out of the house. Today was his laptop’s day!

Riddhima: (on the bed, frustrated) VANSHH RAI SINGHANIA!!!!!! Come HERE!! 😂

Vansh: (breathing heavily as he ran from the living) Yea what happened??

Riddhima: Bring your ass here on the bed! (angry) What is this?? (she held his laptop)

Vansh: (fear) My laptop! (to himself) Shit, no I can’t let my laptop get thrown out of the house!

Riddhima: Idiot! I know that but it’s not a laptop…. It’s my sautan, your first wife!! You know I saw a dream….

Vansh: (murmured) her and her dangerous dreams! (loud to her) How is it my first wife!

Riddhima: Shut up!! Finger on your mouth! (he followed obediently like a child) Why did you interrupt! Anyway, my dream, I saw that the laptop was dancing and romancing with you and you went on a trip with it! So it become my sautan right! So now I will …

Vansh: Noo! Riddhima… please not my laptop! (pleading) It has important files, it has my business related work.

Riddhima: See even know you’re taking the laptop’s side; you care about it more than you do about me right!  (frustrated) Uhhhh!! I hate you! You don’t love me anymore! (she pouted)

Vansh: Sweetheart its not like that! I love you a lot, and you know that. But please keep the laptop down, you aren’t throwing it okay, you’re my good wife, you won’t throw it right? (convincing her to not throw it)

Riddhima: (nodded innocently) Okay it won’t go out of the house but…. (she smiled wickedly)

Vansh: but what sweetheart! (suspiciously looked at her)

Riddhima: It’s still going to go!! (took water and poured it on the laptop) It’s got a bath, and now it will never bother my hubby anymore!! (smiling brightly)

Vansh: My LAPTOPP!! (almost crying)

Ishani, Sia and Aryan: (laughing) I’m sorry bhai!!

Vansh: Stop eavesdropping! Sorry while laughing! Aryan you wait, when you get married and you get a child, you’ll see what I do!

Riddhima: Ohh hello (to Vansh) Stop scolding my sweet and lovely SILs and BIL! They did nothing wrong! (mood change) Vansh, I’m craving for a mix berry cheesecake! Please bring it for me!! (commanding)

Vansh: Why say please when you’re commanding, anyway, where do I get that from. IT’s not the season of berries!

Riddhima: So what! You’re Vansh Rai Singhania, and you can do anything right! Then can’t you do it for me!! Do you expect me to wait till the season! Do anything, bring the season now!!
Vansh: Bring the season now!! How?? (confused) (called Angre) Angre, where the hell are you!

Angre: Boss, what did I do now?

Vansh: Come home and collect my laptop, it needs repair and get the berries season NOW!!

Angre: Berries Season? How? It’s not in my hands boss!

Vansh: Do anything!! (Riddhima took the phone from him) Angre are you Vansh!! No right! Then tell your boss to do it himself (Vansh made a face while the trio giggled) (sweetly) you don’t need to take any trouble.

Angre: Sure Bhabhi! (cut the call)

Vansh: You talk so nicely to everyone else then why me like this?? (curious)

Riddhima: because you are you, and not them!! (she left to go to the living)

Vansh: Till when!! God help! (he face palmed while the trio giggled)

3 more months passed

There was a function; a baby shower for Riddhima. The family pampered her, took care of all her cravings, and had her safe and healthy. The baby was doing fine, growing healthy after all it had a caring family and a protective dad. Riddhima was excited for her ceremony.

Riddhima: Vansh, I’m so happy!! Finally, my baby shower. But no one took me downstairs today, is there a surprise?? (excited)

Vansh: Calm down baba, yes there is a surprise! For you and our baby!! (caressing the baby bump) Daddy has a surprise for you. (kissed the bump) You’re looking beautiful sweetheart! This turquoise blue, suits you, my favourite colour.

Riddhima: but I’m looking fat! (he laughed) see you’re laughing, you don’ t love me anymore!!

Vansh: Not again! (he sighed) Come on sweetheart, let’s go! Your surprise is waiting for you.

The living room

It was decorated beautifully, with balloons, blue and pink in colours, fairy lights, toys scattered around, teddy bears, dolls, fluffy toys. Lots of gifts and guests. A specially designed swing for Riddhima, as per her comfort. She descended the stairs, with Vansh. She sat on the swing adoring everything, joyfully, waiting for the surprise. The family members wished her and showered her with presents and lots of love. Aryan and Vansh performed a dance together, while Siya and Chanchal performed one together. Ishani did an acting piece and danced while dadi sang a song. They took lots of pictures for memories. They all enjoyed it together. There was a cake that was specially baked for the parents-to-be. The cake had a specific colour inside; pink or blue. Pink for a girl and blue for a boy. They both cut the cake, eager to see what the deciding colour would be. It was in Vansh’s favour, a girl!! Pink sweets flowed out from the middle.

Finally, it was the surprise time. Vansh carefully took Riddhima to a room, with the rest of the family following, eager to see her expressions. It was a room, designed for the child. The whole room was adorned in different colours, of toys and lights. There was a cute cot, which Vansh had ordered for the baby. She was delighted after the surprise! She loved it immensely.

After 2 months

Vansh was getting nervous, day by day. Riddhima’s due date was arriving soon, he didn’t know how to react, nervous or happy? He read lots of pregnancy books keep himself updated. Dadi and Chanchal spent most of their time with Riddhima, in order to explain everything, on how to act when the labour pain starts, how to handle the baby for the starting few days etc. While Ishani and Sia were busy in shopping for the baby, buying all sorts of clothes, cartoon printed clothes, themed clothes, fancy wear. Aryan in the meantime was handling the business, as he knew that Vansh had to stay with Riddhima for their coming child.  Vansh always talked to the baby, sharing how much eager he was for his/her arrival. He couldn’t see Riddhima suffer from the pre-delivery contractions, they pained a lot.

Suddenly one night they were sleeping peacefully, when Riddhima’s water broke. She started feeling the pain again, but an immense one this time. The contractions had increased, and it was double the pain. She held her stomach in pain and at last let out a loud scream as she couldn’t bear it anymore.

Riddhima: AHHHHH!!!!! Vansh…. It’s time! Wake up!! (shaking Vansh)

Vansh: (startled) What! How, it’s just 8 months. Is it paining a lot?

Riddhima: stop asking such stupid questions, can’t you see me.. AHHH! Hurry.

Vansh: Sorry….. My phone!! (calling Aryan) Aryan pick up the phone damn it!! Let me get your maternity bag. (checking) has all your medical files, check, camera, check, baby bottle, check (to Riddhima) hold on for a bit.

Riddhima: Hold on for a bit!! Seriously!!! I can’t anymore, I’m going to die!! (in pain) Take me to the blo*dy hospital!! (she shouted and hit him)

Vansh: Why are you hitting me!!

Riddhima: because you’re useless, idiot!! (calming herself) Your Anulom Vilom, let me try. (she breathed in and out a couple of times) I’m sorry Vansh, but I can’t bear this pain anymore!!
Vansh: It’s fine sweetheart, I can’t see you suffer like this (holding her hand) but you can do this!! You’re strong! And so am I (he picked her up in bridal style) Let’s go!! (exiting the room) ARYAN!! ARYAN!! ISHANI!! SIA! DADI! CHACHI!! GET UP!!
Aryan: Bhai what happened?? (sleepily)

Vansh: drive us to the hospital NOW!! Quick! It’s time.

Aryan: What!! Sure let me get the keys. (he ran to get them while the whole family came)

Dadi: It’s time! Okay Riddhima be calm, it must be paining a lot, don’t worry do what I taught you.

Chachi: stay brave! Be strong and you can face it, for your baby!! (encouraging)

Riddhima: I can’t (crying) Please hurry!! Ahh

Ishani and Sia: Bhabhi take care!! We’ll follow you from behind. Dadi and Chachi come with us while bhai and Aryan go together. Aryan where the hell did you just disappear!

Aryan: Sorry, let’s leave!! (Saying so he unlocked the car and Vansh sat with Riddhima at the back while he drove)

Vansh: Riddhima, pls try relax, calm down. (worried) Aryan drive faster!!

Soon they reached the hospital, and Riddhima was admitted. Following them the four ladies came to support Vansh. Vansh hated seeing Riddhima like that, she was wincing in pain, she was screaming in pain. He was pacing around in tension, worry, fear, excitement, happiness. He had mixed feelings passing through his body. The rest of the family tried to convince him to relax as everything would soon be fine, but he had no intentions of being calm at all. It had already been 2 hours since they had taken her in to the delivery room, and there was no news yet. Just then Riddhima was heard screaming in pain, that shook Vansh. He couldn’t bear his sweetheart suffering like this. Her screams were heard almost every 30 minutes for almost 5 more hours. She was in the room for 7 hours, struggling to give birth, suffering the pain to bring a new soul in the world, the child that was to be called as the heir of Rai Singhania family!! Finally, after all the efforts, the screams and worry in the atmosphere, the family heard cries, a baby crying.

Aryan: Bhaaiii!!! Congratulations!!! (hugging him) You’re a father now!! I’m an uncle!!

Vansh: (happy) I can’t believe it!! I’m a father now! (jumping around) Dadi, my child is here! (hugged her) Chachi Wooohoooo!! (He hugged Ishani and Sia)

Sia: (hearing another baby’s cry) Bhai the second cry? (wondering)

Vansh: (worry) Riddhima?? Is she fine. DOCTORR!!

Doctor: (exiting the theatre) Sir please relax, everything’s fine!! Nurse! There’s a small surprise for you…… (the nurse came out with the BABIES) You’ve got twins! Both girls!! (smiling)

Vansh: What! OMG (tears in his eyes) identical twins! Princesses!! How’s Riddhima?

Fam: Congratulations!!!

Doctor: Riddhima is absolutely fine. She doesn’t know that they’re twins, you can give the surprise to her yourself(winks) Nurse hand over the baby girls to the father. (smiling)

Vansh: No I don’t want to take a risk, what if they fall?

Dadi: Vansh, don’t worry, they won’t fall!!

Vansh: (taking the babies) Awww!! They’re so cute, their eyes like Riddhima, face like mine (he giggled) My princesses! I promise I will always protect you too and love you a lot!! (kisses on their forehead)

Chachi: Let me hold them too! (over excited, taking them) Haaye, they’re exactly like my gold!! Kisi kin azar na lage… tu tu tu (no one casts a bad eye on them)

Dadi: Chanchal my time! (takes them) Uff, they’re such a bundle of joy, cute girls. (kissing them)

Sia: Me now!

Ishani: No me, I’m elder so me. Aww my nieces!! (about to take them) Aryan!!

Aryan: I’m elder than you both, ha! So me (Takes them) Aww look at these cute girls, look I’m chachu! Aryan chachu!

Ishani: You can tell them that later, but my time now. (taking them) sweeties!! You know you both call me Ishani, don’t call me fai, it will be too old for my look!! But why are their eyes closed?

Sia: Dumbo! They’re just born, they don’t have the strength and sight to open their eyes! Now pass (Taking them) I was waiting for you to come, but I got two of you!! So happy!! Love you two!!

Vansh looked at his family with his girls. He adored their bond, adored his family and adored his daughters. He was proud to be a father of two daughters!! He took his daughters and headed for the room, to meet Riddhima. He entered the room where he saw Riddhima, lying on the bed, exhausted after the 7-hour delivery procedure. He went near her and whispered in to her ear. She woke up.

Vansh: (whispering) Congratulation’s sweetheart, we’ve got girls!

Riddhima: (woke up) Girls??

Vansh: Twins!! (kissing her forehead) Here see. (he handed them over to her) They’re so lovely, like you. (he smiled seeing her smile)

Riddhima: Aww!! (Adoring them) My daughters!! Our daughters!!

Vansh: (treasuring their bond) I told you I would win! My princesses! Did it pain a lot??

Riddhima: Vansh, I wouldn’t say yes now, as then I wouldn’t have gotten such cute and lovely fairies!! (smiled) Love you!

Vansh: (kissed her forehead and gently kissed the girls’ forehead) Love you three!!

Ishani: Perfect click!! (she took a pic of them and the rest entered the room) What a memory!! But bhai, you both didn’t know you were getting twins?? How?

Doctor: (entering) I’ll tell you. This case was different Mr Rai Singhania. One of the twins had completely blocked the other one, so in the sonography we couldn’t locate the other baby, therefore we thought it was just a baby but during delivery we discovered they were twins! Your wife and kids are very lucky to have you all as a family and support. This case was a bit difficult for your second daughter, she was a bit weak, but she’s absolutely fine now, she made it!!

They soon went home, after Riddhima was discharged and her health did fine. The babies were both healthy, and fine. They arrived home, to find the family welcoming them grandly. Every one of them were eager to play and hold them. They used to compete on who would take care of them and play with them. They were happy together and delightful to have such cute angels into their lives. Weeks passed when Vansh suggested for a baby naming ceremony.  Ishani and Sia were so excited, they used to fight with each other on who would name them. It was finally the baby naming ceremony!!

Living Room

It was decorated beautifully, with lots of balloons, flowers, toys and lights!! Vansh and Riddhima descended with their baby girls. They gently placed them in their cots and sat down on their swing.

Ishani: I have cool names for my partners!! (winked)

Sia: No I’m naming them, I have that right! I’ve got better names!

Aryan: You both, keep quiet now! You’ve been arguing on the same thing since the past two days!! (irritated) If you fight again then I will name them!

Sia and Ishani: NOOO!!  (Vansh and Riddhima laughed)

Dadi and Chanchal: Even we have names!

Vansh: Okay fine, everyone gives their choices, then Riddhima and I will choose. (everyone agreed) Okay so Ishani, start with you!

Ishani: Aria and Ariana!! They’re great right…. So you’ve selected mine!!

Riddhima: Ishani, hold your horses, we haven’t chosen yet (giggled) Sia yours?

Sia: Riana and Raina!

Aryan: Viani and Vanika!

Dadi: Ishika and Iaira

Chanchal: Narini and Nikita!

Vansh: hmmm, tough choices right Riddhima? (looking at her) What you thinking?

Riddhima: about the choices, they’re all such good names!! But… I got them!! (she whispers in Vansh’s ear)

Vansh: Amazing Riddhima!! You say.

Riddhima: Okay, let’s go. (they went to the babies and both picked them) So her name will be Vani and ….

Vansh: her name will be Riva

Fam: (cheered) Congrats!! Riva and Vani!!

Ishani: But you said you will choose from our choices (sulking)

Vansh: we did!!

Sia: How?? Bhabhi please explain

Riddhima: we picked the first letters of all your suggested names! Didn’t you realize that? (smiling) For Vani- V from Aryan’s choice. A from Ishani’s choice. N from chachi’s choice. I from Dadi’s choice. For Riva- R from Sia’s choice. I from Dadi’s choice. V from Aryan’s choice. A from Ishani’s choice.

Dadi: Very intelligent of you both!

Chanchal: Riva and Vani, did you notice something else Ma! Riva beginning with R from Riddhima and Vani beginning with V from Vansh!

Ishani: Oh yes! Love the names!!

They all posed for a perfect family picture, with the baby girls!! A happy family!

The Rai Singhania Family!

So I hope you liked this OS. It took me a bit of time in writing this, it got a bit long. I wanted to add a bit of their childhood moments as well but I didn’t, I thgt to write another OS on it soon and I also didn’t want to drag it a lot.
