Colors Tv’ upcoming show ‘Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Pani’ is based on the story of a simple girl from Kolkatta whose life changes after a tragedy hits her family. Actors Ishita Dutta, Harshad Arora, and Mishkat Verma have already been finalized to play a pivotal role in the show.
Harshad Arora in a recent interview with India Forums talked about his role and shared, “Well, to be honest, I’ve never tried something like this before. I’m often perceived as having a good boy or a good husband image and I’m all set to change that with this show as I’ll be seen in an unconventional and grey character. I’m hoping for positive feedback from the viewers”.
Talking about co-actress Ishita, Harshad shared, “I think Ishita fits the character to the T. It’s a great casting. The cherry on the cake is that she’s herself a Bengali, so I feel it will work in her favor. She is quite jovial and keeps the energy on the sets high on positivity”.
Talking about the pandemic and its effect on the trade, the actor said, “Frankly, because of the pandemic, actors are not really left with a lot of options. This isn’t the right time to be picky and choosy. There have been so many actors facing financial crunch and sitting at their homes without work. I’m fortunate enough to have got a character which I wanted to do. Having said that, I feel the times are improving and we’re slowly and steadily moving towards a better direction and I’m sure in future people will be getting a lot of options of work to choose one among them”.
