XYZ Night Club
Scene Description:
Crowded club with loud music. Chairs/couches on the side with people drinking alcohol and freely dancing. A young man enters the club who catches the eye of every girl… and at the same time a girl in a blazer and wearing glasses comes down the stairs…
Boy (Kabir) talking to Club Manager
Kabir: Why is the music so crappy??
Manager: Our DJ left saying he has other commitments. And today is Friday so no one else is available …. so humiliating
Kabir: Is that so?
Meanwhile the girl, Sanchi walks towards the bar while Kabir is at the DJ area
Manager: Do you even know what to do
Kabir: I was fooling around with this female DJ while I was in Spain
Manager: And she taught you
Kabir: Yeah
Sanchi goes to a table where her friends are sitting …
Isha: Hey…
Pragya: You seriously came wearing that to a club
Sanchi: I just came from an interview
Isha and Pragya roll their eyes
Pragya: Let’s drink!!!
All: Cheers!!!!!
On the other side Kabir plays around with the DJ system and manages to play better music
Isha: Let’s go dance
Pragya: Let’s go
Sanchi sits there looking at them
Kabir: Are you guys hyped?!!
Crowd Cheers
Sanchi: “I knew I shouldn’t have came clubbing. But I’m pretty sure I passed my interview.”
With that she drinks another glass
Sanchi: “The vibe is good, the alcohol is good. Everything is good except for me.”
Isha: COME ON SANCHI
Sanchi: Ugh…
Sanchi gets off the chair and goes to dance in the crowd….
Kabir gets off the DJ area and immediately a girl drags him.
Riya: Kab tak mujhse door bhago ge Kabirr
Kabir: “Not her again” Listen Riya you are wasted let’s get you home
Riya: Darlinggg
Next Day …
Sanchi slams a bottle on a counter
Cashier: Gosh you scared me
Sanchi: Heree
Cashier takes the money and gives her change

She grabs her bottle and walks away

Kabir is standing with goggles and swimwear.
Splash he jumps into the pool, swimming from one end to the other
A man on the other side wearing all blue is squatting down holding a white towel.
Kabir: Oye!!! … why are you here
The man is Secretary Kunal
Kunal: I was wondering if you had fainted
Kabir steps out

Kunal: Mr. Kapoor is waiting for you

Anand Kapoor’s Office
Anand is holding a newspaper…
On Newspaper
Headlines: Kabir Kapoor, heir of Kapoor Group, secret affair with Riya Malhotra
Kabir: They didn’t need to create a scandal
Anand: Maybe this wasn’t enough of my money for you to spend and stain MY company’s reputation
Kabir: It’s not your company is first or second
Anand slams his hand on the desk
Anand: Go pack your bags… wait no need… go down to one of my resorts and learn about the business

Anand calls security

Meanwhile with Sanchi, she is video calling her sister, Meera.
Sanchi: In Goa?!?! I don’t think I can come
Meera: You have to come!!! It’s our anniversary
Sanchi: Ugh
Sanchi cuts the call and sees the invitation
Meera and Sushant 3rd Wedding Anniversary
Kabir and Kunal at a bus stop
Kunal: Let’s go
Kabir: Why do I have to go on a bus when I can just drive there??
Kunal: Mr. Kapoor’s orders
Kabir: You are also coming along with me so why can’t I ride with you …
Kunal: THAT PUNK IS LACKING IN SO MANY WAYS!!!! CUT HIM OFF OF EVERYTHING!!! CONFISCATE HIS MONEY, CREDIT CARDS, AND CARS. EVERYTHING HE HAS – That’s what Mr. Kapoor said
Kabir: Give me my car keys
Kunal points to the bus
Kabir: Give me my car keys
Kunal puts his suitcase on the bus
Kabir: Why hell do I have to ride this stupid bus
Kunal: Get on
Kabir: I will kill you and I’m not kidding
Kunal grabs Kabir with both hands and gets him on the bus into his seat. Kabir gets up
Kunal: OYE
Kunal waves bye and Kabir does the cutting neck.
Just then Sanchi comes on the bus
Sanchi: Oh shit there aren’t any seats…
She sees an empty seat next to Kabir
Sanchi: Excuse me can I sit here??
Kabir: Ya whatever
Sanchi puts her bag up in the compartment. The bus starts moving and Sanchi falls into Kabir’s lap.
Sanchi: I’m so sorry.
Kabir: It’s okay
Sanchi: I’m actually very sorry
Kabir: I said it’s okay,
Sanchi: Sorry
Kabir: Just sit on the seat!!!
Sanchi: Okay
A Few Hours Later
The bus arrives to Kapoor Resorts in Goa. Kabir and Sanchi are sound asleep in their seat. Kabir wakes up and is about to wake Sanchi up but just walks out the bus
Bus Driver: Memsaab Memsaab, hum Goa ponch gaye
Sanchi: Huh?!? Thank you
Hotel Room
Kabir: You’re kidding
Kunal: Does it look like I am kidding
Kabir: I have to be a bellhop in my own father’s resort
Kunal: Once you change you will informed about your duties and you must put on a friendly smile
Kunal gives a creepy smile
Kabir: This man is crazy, will you be able to handle the aftermath of this
Kunal: That will always be up for the person in question
Kabir: Wow, seriously
Kunal: I will give you 10 minutes
Kabir: Why the hell should I wear this
Kunal: 9 minutes and 53.. 52.. 51.. 50
Kabir throws the clothes across the room
10 minutes later he steps out wearing the bellhop clothing
Random Bellhop hands Kabir a bucket of cleaning supplies, well he attempts to
Random Bellhop: Oye
Kabir: Oye?? I didn’t work out to use my muscles for cleaning. Now move
Random Bellhop: I guess
Kabir: Go
Random Bellhop: I’ll do it myself
A few minutes later Kabir is sitting on a balcony and the cleaning bellhop comes again but Kabir yells him away. A few minutes later Kabir is sitting somewhere in resort playing on his phone
Kabir: I’m thirsty, get me something to drink
Lady: Of course, coffee or juice
Kabir: Freshly squeezed juice
Lady: Yes
Just then a shadow comes over Kabir
Kabir: That was fast
He looks up and sees his manager
Kabir: Oh it’s you… Lovely Afternoon
Manager: I think it’s time for you to work, don’t you know we are hosting a party this evening
Kabir: Not now, I’m playing an important round
Manager: Would you like me to report this to Mr. Kapoor
Kabir: Fine I’m going
Hallway in the hotel resort
Sanchi: I passed!!! Thank you so much. When do I start?? Next year… but… I understand
Kabir: Congrats
He’s standing across the hall so Sanchi can’t hear him
Kabir: Uff I have to get my car back.
A Hotel Room A Woman Is Getting Ready
Meera: This necklace is so gorgeous
Sushant: Only the best for you
Meera walks up to Sushant
Meera: Thank you so much for everything
Sushant grabs Meera from the waist and brings her closer
Sushant: And my gift
Meera: You will get it soon
Sanchi walks in
Sanchi: Sorry !!!
Meera: Oh the spoilsport is here, I thought you weren’t coming
Sanchi: Did you actually think I would miss YOUR anniversary party
Sushant: Saali Sahiba !!!
Sanchi: Hey Jiju!!! I think your brother was looking for you
Sushant: Thanks
Once Sushant left
Meera: He’s a nice guy
Sanchi: Who?
Meera: Ranvir
Sanchi: Not again
Meera: You can’t stay single your entire life
Sanchi: Watch me !!
Meera: Anyway let’s get this ugly outfit off you
Meera pulls Sanchi aside and VOILA
Sanchi is wearing a beautiful purple and gold anarkali suit
Sanchi: Di
Meera: Don’t you dare take that off
During the party Sanchi steps aside onto a balcony and gets lost in herself while looking at the beautiful sky. On the other side Kabir is waiting for an opportunity to get his car back.
Manager: What are you doing
Kabir: What
Manager: Why aren’t you working
Kabir stops a waitress
Kabir: I am working, I will take the cake
Manager: You will be cleaning the third floor so you better have your supplies
Kabir: Already there
Kabir rolls the cake away and takes it in the party area. He leaves the cake and when going back he bumps into Sanchi in a hallway. He holds her when she is about to fall and both stare deep into each others eyes until some cleaning supplies falls from the balcony and both fall.
Sanchi: Oop
And they both get up and walk away
Manager talking to Kabir near staircases
Manager: I know you don’t want to work here but you shouldn’t try to hurt someone else
Kabir: I told you I was an accident. You tell me how was I supposed to dodge a woman who was running like a mad bull
Manager: MR. KAPOOR
Kabir: What is it
Manager: Does it look like I am running a circus here
Kabir: I also got hurt too… fine I understand that I was wrong … Happy
Manager: Then apologize to her, the girl who you call a mad bull
Kabir: Why are you doing to this to me
Manager: I’m pretty sure you know what will happen if I fire you
With that the manager walks away
Sanchi talking to Meera on the phone
Sanchi: I got bored and that dumb deewar of yours was staring at me the entire time.
Meera: Ya because he likes you
Sanchi: Do you three not get the message??? I do not want to get married to that dofus
Meera: Lok kya kahenge
Sanchi: To hell with your stupid society. I don’t give shit to what other people think. All I want is a chance to be happy,
Meera: Marriage will bring so many happy moments in your life
Sanchi: Stop behaving like our mom !!!!
Meera: Sanchi
Sanchi: Di … sorry
Meera hung up
Sushan and Meera’s Room
Sushant: Meera
Meera: I’m fine but I won’t ever bring up marriage again
Sushant: Hmm now my gift

Sushant opens it and ….
Sushant: Oh my god thank you !!!
Meera: Congrats

Kabir: Oye give me the keys
Bellhop: Huh
Kabir: Give me the keys
Bellhop hesitatingly gives the keys to Kabir
Kabir: Give me your shirt
Sanchi gets ready to take a bath by that she put on a bathrobe
Sanchi: Stupid bellhop
Someone knocks on the door
Sanchi: Who is it
Sanchi opens the door and Kabir barges in with a room service
Sanchi: Excuse me, I didn’t order room service
Kabir: It’s free
Sanchi: I still don’t want it. Please take it back
Kabir: If you knew how much this wine cost you would never refuse
Sanchi: Excuse me
Kabir: Fine I came here to apologize for what happened before. My cleaning supplies fell on us
Sanchi: Then go ahead
Kabir: Huh??
Sanchi: Apologize
Kabir: First you
Sanchi: Why me
Kabir: Remember me from the bus
Sanchi gets a flashback
Sanchi: Yeah but I already apologized

Bellhop: Oye

Kabir: He’s … so strange ……… oh shoot!! I left the keys in that bull’s room
Meanwhile Sanchi got her bubble bath ready and started sipping her wine away…
Sanchi: What else does a girl need!! A bubble bath and free wine
When she was about to step in she heard someone knock
Sanchi: Ugh
She put on her robe and went to open the door
Sanchi: Ya ya I’m coming, you!! Why are you here
Kabir: I left my car keys
Sanchi: You have a car ??
Kabir barges in and grabs the keys from the floor
Kabir: Good Day!!
And with that he shuts the door
Sanchi: Weirdo
Later that day… Sanchi got ready in her blazer and Kabir changed into his clothes and drove somewhere
Small Restaurant
Kabir drops a bouquet of flowers in front of the restaurant and drives away… later a woman comes and sees the card in the bouquet which says Happy Birthday
Kabir sees the woman from his car and then drives away.
Meanwhile Sanchi is touring around Goa. She passes by a restaurant and the sign reads
We serve two or more only!!
Her stomach growls…
Sanchi: Uff let’s see what I packed
She sits at a bus stop and…
Sanchi: I am so dumb. I just packed a PBJ sandwich. Might as well eat…
Just then Kabir drives by but then reverses
Kabir: Is it your hobby to look stressed
Sanchi: Just pretend you didn’t see me and drive away
Kabir: I don’t want you to get run by a car
Sanchi: What??
Kabir: Geez you’re like Blackey
Sanchi: Who ??
Kabir: Someone I feed
Sanchi: What about you?? You rent this car. You didn’t steal this car right??
Kabir: “I am so done with this girl” I guess you don’t know that I am not some average person
Sanchi: Is that so ??
Kabir: I am the son of the owner
Sanchi: You stole the owner’s son’s car!!!!
Kabir: “Hey Bhagwan” Nevermind, get in I’ll give you a ride
Sanchi gets thinking
Kabir: Are you seriously contemplating my offer
Sanchi: Will I get arrested for accompanying a car theft??
Kabir: Forget it then … it seems like the bus stopped running already. Oye Bhaisaab!! Yeh bus chal rahi hai kya
Bhaisaab: Nahi kab ke ruk gayi
Sanchi then immediately got into the car
Kabir: Woah
Sanchi: I’ll just take this as … umm additional customer service
Kabir just awkwardly looked at Sanchi
Kabir: Put on your seatbelt
Sanchi: Ya
And they drive away … a few minutes later
Kabir: Did you just come from work??
Sanchi: What
Kabir: You are dressed up like a receptionist. You looked better in the traditional clothing
Sanchi: Wait what
Kabir: Nevermind
Just then the gas sign started blinking
Sanchi: What’s that noise
Kabir: Secretary Kunal!!!
Sanchi: Huh??
Kabir: Can you lend me some money??
Resort Hotel
Kunal: He didn’t get too far. The car is out of gas
Anand: Let him go today, he probably has somewhere to go
Kunal: Yes, I understand
Kunal growls at the bellhops
Anand: He might get his act together when he sees his mom
At the beach
Kabir: Get out
Sanchi: I thought we were going to the resort
Kabir: I never said I was going to resort
Sanchi: Uff, I filled your stupid tank and …
Kabir: I’ll pay you back DOUBLE
Sanchi: I don’t believe you at all
Kabir steps forward
Kabir: Hey!! I never go back on my word
Sanchi: I… I get it *hick* * hick*
Kabir steps forward and reaches into the car and grabs a bottle of wine
Kabir: I am going to stay here for a while so you can … hitchhike back
Sanchi: Excuse me
Kabir: Or you can have a drink with me
Both sit near the ocean on the ground …
Kabir: Since neither of us are in a good mood let’s talk
Sanchi looks at Kabir
Kabir: I am not hitting on you
Sanchi: Oh please I would never think that
Kabir: Good
Kabir is about to take a sip when Sanchi grabs the bottle from him and drinks
Sanchi: This is good!!!
Kabir: Give me
Sanchi: Hey I found Rs. 5 and it was made in my birth year !!
She picks it and flips it
Sanchi: Here
Kabir: Really
Sanchi: You look like a cat who lost it’s mother
Kabir: Are drunk off one sip
Sanchi: I’m heavy weight
They sit and talk until the evening and then sit in the car looking at the sky. (Forgot to mention it’s a convertible). Both are pretty much drunk
Sanchi: I was thankful to you earlier today. Nothing seems to be working out for me right now and I’m so lonely. I was having a hard time. But as usual no one asked if I am alright. You were the first to ever ask. I know it’s not a big deal but those words really comforted me
Kabir just looked at Sanchi the entire time
Sanchi looks over at him, turns back, wipes her tear and takes a sip of the wine
Kabir: Man I am so charming, you’re not the first woman to cry because of me but you are the first to cry because I asked if you were okay. And you are the first woman who I think is pretty when you cry.
Both share a deep eyelock…

Sanchi: *Hick* *Hick* *Hick* It’s getting late, we should get going
Sanchi gets up and is about to fall when Kabir catches her
Sanchi: *Hick*
Kabir smiles and continues looking into Sanchi’s eyes. He then grabs her by the neck and kisses her. Sanchi backs off but then grabs him by the collar and brings him close and kisses him. Kabir then throws his coat on the back seat and they make out in the front two seats. Kabir takes off his shirt and continues to kiss Sanchi. Then he brings the roof forward while continuing to kiss Sanchi under the starry oceanic night…
