After Ragini and Samar departed …Shivaay came back to Anika’s room and sat beside Anika brushing her hair and feeling dejected for not taking proper care of her…….He just stared at her and observed her innocence and smiled …..
After sometime Anika woke up to find Shivaay staring at her……She slowly tried to get up and sit …when Shivaay held her and made her sit……
Anika ‘’Shivaay …I need to pack my bags and leave…I am sure Samar will be angry with me ….’’
Shivaay ‘’Samar has already left long time back Anika…and now you need rest…so take rest while I get you soup’’
Anika ‘’what Samar has left…i am sure he will fire me from the job…this job is the only way to fulfil my and Sahil’s necessities and now I am again back to square one…please
Shivaay book a flight for me and I will return immediately’’
Shivaay ‘’have you lost it Anika…do you have any idea of what you are blabbering…you fell unconscious and doctor advised you to take rest and eat properly and you are speaking of going back…do I look like a fool to you to take care of you all the time till now…’’
Anika ‘’but how did I fall unconscious…I mean I was fine till I came here’’
Shivaay ‘’exactly what happened to you that you fell unconscious suddenly and by the way doctor was saying that you didn’t take food since some days…I too observed that you didn’t join for lunch or dinner along with us ever since we came here..’’
Anika understood the reason now…she avoided looking at Shivaay and moved her eyeballs here and there….
Shivaay ‘’I am asking you something Anika…why didn’t you eat food with us?’’
Anika ‘’woh…woh…nothing..i ..i …didn’t want to ‘’
Shivaay ‘’you didn’t want to what? Tell me the truth Anika?’’
Anika ‘’I didn’t want to embarrass you …so I avoided eating along with you’’
Shivaay ‘’what nonsense..?’’
Anika ‘’shivaay…I don’t fit in your high class profile…I am a simple girl…I am habituated to eating with hands not with spoons, forks and knives….and had I ate with my hands before your employees delegates and friends it would be embarrassing for you…so ..i …I ..’’
Shivaay ‘’so you stopped eating…I must actually clap for you on your stupid thinking…this is not the Anika I have known…my Anika never used to care for anything…she used to be what she likes and now look here is some other Anika who started being conscious of her acts and deeds’’
Anika ‘’it’s nothing like that…but Ragini’s words of asking me to not to embarrass you all infront of everyone made me do so’’
Shivaay ‘’forget it…It’s waste of time to argue with you…you know what you can just show your tadi only to me …and infront of everyone else you become bhigi billi’’
Anika ‘’nothing of that sort …’’ she tried to shout at him but weakness overpowered her scream
Shivaay ‘’accept it Anika’’
Anika ‘’I kept quiet because I thought you might not like if I argue with Ragini’’
Shivaay looked on
Anika ‘’why are you looking at me…Ragini is your fiancée and had I spoke against her you wouldn’t have thought twice before scolding me…so I thought I better keep quiet’’
Shivaay left from there disappointed towards Kitchen while Anika closed her eyes and sat there sadly thinking of Shivaay’s announcement of engagement with Ragini and after that what all happened…..
Shivaay came back with soup after a while and saw Anika with tears flowing from her closed eyes…..his heart melted to see her like that…he quickly placed the soup on the side table and hugged her…….
Anika didn’t expect him to hug her at that moment and she reciprocated the hug and started crying….Shivaay let her cry and when she calmed a bit he broke the hug and looked at her….her tears were still on
Shivaay ‘’why are you sad Anika? You know I can’t see tears in your eyes…no matter what..and if you don’t say me how will I know why are you crying?’’ he asked her with a lot of concern wiping her tears
Anika ‘’why are you doing this to me Shivaay? ‘’
Shivaay ‘’what did I do now?’’ he asked confused
Anika ‘’this care and protection…your concern when I entered the flight and whatever you are doing for me now…..why suddenly Shivaay? I don’t want to come near you once again and go away getting my heart broken once again…don’t do this Shivaay…please’’
Shivaay ‘’ we will talk about this later…first have the soup’’
Anika looked at him while he fed her the soup and asked her to rest…….
Anika ‘’Where is Ragini?’’
Shivaay ‘’she might have reached Norway now? Why do you want to know?’’
Anika ‘’why.. shouldn’t I ask about her?’’
Shivaay ‘’I thought you dislike her and will not be interested to know about her whereabouts’’ he said and left from there
Anika spoke to herself ‘’Ohh bete ki …this means we both are here in this house…fail gaya raita……I must make some plan to go back to Mumbai’’
Shivaay ‘’don’t even think of making some plan to go away from here without me…’’
Anika ‘’haaaaaaa…how do you know…I mean what did you say?’’
Shivaay ‘’I know you pretty well …so don’t even think of going away from me…
He looked at her and after she looked at him surprise he completed the sentence ‘’I mean to Mumbai ‘’
He picked up the tray that he placed on the side table and left from there…..This time Shivaay actually left from there………..after sometime Anika gained a bit of strength and came to the kitchen to have some water…she saw Shivaay working on his laptop ….She slowly walked to pick the glass but weakness overpowered her and she placed the glass with a thud on the kitchen platform …Shivaay raised his eyes and quickly walked towards her……
Shivaay ‘’Anika if you needed something , you should have called me…you are weak and you must rest’’
Anika ‘’I am okay Shivaay…and you know very well about me…I can’t’’
Shivaay ‘’you can’t sit idle and take rest…isn’t it’’
Anika ‘’yes’’
Shivaay ‘’but now …until you get fine you should take rest and I am not going to listen to you about anything else’’
Anika ‘’shivaay please…I am getting bored lying on the bed and that makes me more sick…..so please …’’
Shivaay ‘’nothing doing…go back and sleep’’
Anika held Shivaay’s chin and started saying ‘’please Shivaay…please…please…please…’’
Shivaay smiled and murmured ‘’how cute’’
With that Anika became conscious and left his Chin and turned other side blushing…..Shivaay pulled her towards him and hugged her from back nuzzling her neck….Anika closed her eyes to feel his proximity……
Shivaay came to her ears and said ‘’Fine…if you don’t want to sleep in your room…just sit with me so that I can work peacefully …keeping an eye on you…’’
Anika turned towards him and looked at his Kanji eyes and said ‘’but Shivaay’’
Shivaay ‘’I don’t want to listen anything else…either you sleep in your room or you sit beside me …choice is yours’’
Anika pouted her lips and said ‘’fine I will sit beside you and get bored doing nothing’’
Shivaay ‘’you can do anything to me…I am perfectly okay’’
Anika looked at him in disbelief and said ‘’what…what did you say?’’
Shivaay ‘’nothing…shall we go there ..’’ he pointed his finger towards the living room where his laptop was placed……
Anika ‘’yeah’’ she started walking slowly
Shivaay lifted her in her arms in bridal style …
Anika ‘’what are you doing Shivaay? I can…I can walk’’ she held his collar being in his arms
Shivaay ‘’I can’t take a chance ‘’
Anika smiled and hugged him still being in her arms…….Shivaay carried her till the sofa and placed her with utmost care……He placed fruits and some snacks and asked her to eat them so that she will have strength ….having said that he started working on his laptop and Anika was just staring at him…..after a while
Shivaay ‘’stop checking me out Anika…I know I am so handsome and hot…but if you check me more you will tend to lose yourself to me and I am sure you will not prefer that’’
Anika POV ‘’I have already lost to you Shivaay…long back…and I am ready to lose to you forever…’’
Shivaay ‘’did you say something?’’
Anika said ‘’no’’ …..she turned away and was eating the fruits and snacks while looking outside the window…..few minutes later her eyes widened as it was snowing…….this was the first time she was actually in reality seeing the snowfall……..she walked towards the window and was enjoying the snowfall with her broad cute smile……
Shivaay looked at her and was smiling seeing her happy…he came near her and stood beside her
Shivaay ‘’you seem so happy’’
Anika ‘’yes…I am very happy…you know Shivaay I have always seen snowfall in movies and this is the first time I am seeing it in reality…awe…..this is so beautiful…awee’’
Shivaay held her hand and asked her to come with him
Anika ‘’where’’
Shivaay ‘’there is no fun seeing snow from window…the actual fun is to enjoy in the snowfall’’
Anika ‘’but you will catch cold Shivaay’’
Shivaay ‘’somethings must be forgotten for a while….try to live this moment Anika ..so that you will not regret later…come’’ he dragged her out
They both stood under the open sky and with the snow falling on both them forming patterns over their hair they both were laughing heartily….after a while Shivaay twirled and swirled Anika ensuring she is okay …..
Anika ‘’this is so beautiful….i feel like I am living a dream’’ she smiled
Shivaay came near her and held her by her waist…they had an brief eyelock…..
Shivaay ‘’I will make your every dream true Anika…but for that you need to share your dreams with me…will you?’’ he asked her in the snowfall
Anika looked at him and was about to say ‘’yes’’ when reality hit her hard…….she composed herself and spoke
Anika ‘’I am feeling cold Shivaay…shall we go inside?’’
Shivaay felt sad and left her waist and said ‘’yes…sure’’
Anika and Shivaay walked in…….when the staff entered……
Staff ‘’Sir…there is an expected heavy snowfall for coming two days and if that happens we are not sure to come for work…….so we have bought in the necessary food and other resources so that you will not have any problem even in our absence…..’’
Shivaay ‘’not a problem I will manage…and it’s fine as I can understand the problem…so I would suggest you to take an off for two days and spend time with your family….’’
Staff ‘’thank you sir…and we are sure you have got the information from local municipalities that all the commuting have been stopped because of the snowfall…so stay back in home and work ..because it is practically impossible to go out in such a weather…also sir you may expect a power outage too as the lines are supposed to be jammed because of heavy snow…so we have placed the backup’s for power which will help you for a day if used only during necessity…’’
Shivaay ‘’yeah …I understand and I anyways have decided to stay back in home and work from here because of my lady’s health…and thank you for all the service and suggestions…will meet soon after everything is settled outside’’
Staff bid bye and left from there……
Anika was stuck at his words ‘’MY LADY’s health…MY LADY’’ and she stood still
Shivaay quickly called Ragini and updated about the heavy snowfall …..Ragini also was under the same condition as the climatic condition was no different in Norway and it was worse than Sweden…….Shivaay then called OmRu and updated them
Rudra ‘’Shivaay Bhayya…iska matlab aap aur Anika Bhabhi akele akele…not bad bhayya…poora fayda uthayiye’’
Om gave hifi to Rudra and
Shivaay ‘’Shut up Rudra’’
With Rudra’s words Anika blushed …..
Om ‘’Shivaay …Anika Bhabhi se baat karvana’’
Shivaay gave the phone to Anika……
Anika ‘’Haan Om’’
Om ‘’Bhabhi…all the best …acche se enjoy kijiye aur haan iss pal ko apne haath se jaane mat dijiye…aap samajh rahe ho na mein kya kehne ki koshish kar raha hoon’’
Anika smiled and said ‘’haan…..tum dono bhi apna khayal rakhna aur baaki gharwalon ka bhi…mein jaldi wapas aaoongi’’
Rudra snatched phone from Om’s hand and said
Rudra ‘’Bhabhi…please jaldi mat aana…I mean ..ham wait kar sakte hain…aur yaha aake aapko karna kya hain….isliye aap bas enjoy kijiye…’’ he showed thumbs up to her
Shivaay smiled at OmRu’s words and took mobile from Anika and said
Shivaay ‘’ho gaya tum dono ki masti tho ab ek aur baat sunlo…yaha power outage bhi ho sakta hain isliye agar mein tumhe call na karoon tho pareshaan mat hona aur gharwalon ko bhi ye baat bata dena…’’
Rudra ‘’haan bhayya…ab bye…hame aur bore mat karo…good night aur sweet’’
Shivaay ‘’shut Up Rudra …bye’’
He ended the call and looked at Anika who was blushing with Rudra’s and Om’s words…..
Shivaay ‘’tum fir se blush kar rahi ho?’’
Anika ‘’nahi…nahi tho’’
Shivaay clicked her picture and showed her…..’’See how pinkish you have become…you are blushing Anika…by the way OmRu asked you to enjoy so have you any plans to do so’’
Anika ‘’You are such a 2 rs cheapda Shivaay…you talk anything……’’
Shivaay ‘’haaaaccchhhuuuuuuuu……….haaacchuuuuuuu…haaachhuuuuuuu’’ he was continuously sneezing
Anika ‘’shivaay why are you sneezing so much…fail gaya raita…..where is your medicine kit?’’
Shivaay ‘’in my room’’ he pointed fingers towards his room….
Anika ‘’now you sit while I get your medicine’’ she tried to run but she also was not at her pink of health…so she walked as fast as she could and brought his medicine….
Anika gave medicine to him and started her lecture
Anika ‘’what was the need to go in the snowfall…do you think you are a superman? You know you are very sensitive to cold and still you took me out…now see the result…why do you behave like a kid…why don’t you take care of yourself…why don’t you listen to me…if something happens what will I do without you?’’ she stopped at her last sentence looking
at him
Shivaay held her hand and sliding his finger through her face spoke
Shivaay ‘’nothing can happen to me till you are with me…and relax I am fine now…I was sneezing I did not fall unconscious like you’’
Anika ‘’now don’t try to change the topic towards me…you are just careless…you know I can’t see you sick whether it is big or small’’
Shivaay ‘’why…why do you care so much for me?’’ he held her hand and looked at her and asked….
Anika never expected Shivaay to ask her such question…she was mincing words
Shivaay held her face and moving towards her asked…..
Shivaay ‘’tell me Anika …why do care for me so much? What’s this feeling Anika? I can’t see you hurt…you can’t see me in pain …yet we kept on giving pain to each other…..what should we name this feeling that’s between us….tell me Anika….answer me’’
Anika just kept on staring at him…he still holding her face looked at her ……he bent towards her and kissed her cheek ….She closed her eyes…..
Shivaay ‘’this feeling whatever it is …it is just beautiful….and I want to live with this feeling forever’’ he spoke huskily moving towards her neck…
Anika enjoyed his words ,kiss and boldness………
