It’s that time of the week again—Thursday marks the release of the highly anticipated TRP report, providing insights into the performance of television shows across various channels. This week’s TRP report brought a few notable shifts in the rankings and ratings of popular shows, but one thing remains unchanged: Anupamaa continues to reign supreme, securing the top spot with 2.5 points.
The current storyline of Anupamaa, featuring Rupali Ganguly, revolves around Anupamaa offering refuge to Baa and the Shah family after they lose their home. However, the show experienced a slight dip in TRP compared to last week’s 2.6 points, though it still maintains its dominance.
Jhanak clinched the second spot, showing improvement with a TRP jump from 2.2 to 2.3 points. The show’s latest plot twist, where the family learns that Jhanak is not pregnant, has captured audience attention.
In third place, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai saw its TRP rise to 2.2 points this week. The current storyline centers around a dramatic revelation about Abhira’s infertility, which threatens her wedding with Armaan.
Advocate Anjali Awasthy holds steady at fourth place with 2.0 points.
Meanwhile, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin saw a significant drop in its TRP from 2.2 to 2.0. The show’s current track focuses on Savi revealing to Rajat that Sai is his child, leaving him overjoyed.
At number six, Udne Ki Aasha scored 2.0 points, with its plot exploring the rift between Sailee and Sachin.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah claimed seventh place with 1.7 points, followed by Parineeti in eighth place, also with 1.7 points. Parineeti’s storyline highlights Parineet exposing Neeti’s true colors to Rajveer.
Mangal Lakshmi took the ninth spot, featuring Saumya attending Mangal and Adit’s wedding anniversary. Rounding out the top ten is Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav with 1.7 points for the 37th week of the year.
Interestingly, two major reality shows, Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, failed to make it into the top 10 this week. Laughter Chefs earned 1.6 points, while Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 fell short with just a 1.5 rating.
Other notable shows on the TRP charts include Kumkum Bhagya, Mishri, and Kundali Bhagya, each securing 1.4 points.
Looking ahead, there’s speculation that TRP ratings for Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai might increase in the coming week. In Anupamaa, the upcoming storyline will see Anupama and Anuj joining forces to challenge Barkha and Ankush as they fight to protect Asha Bhavan.
Meanwhile, in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fans are eagerly awaiting the pivotal moment of truth for Abhira and Armaan’s marriage, a development that has viewers excited for what’s next.
